I had called 2 other electricians who never showed up. When I called Peter, he was there the same day. He went above and beyond to take care of an electrical danger.

After MUCH disagreement over what the customer wanted and what HE thought best, he agreed to do the work. Called to ask follow up question and he decided it was too much and he didn't want the job. That's fine. Sorry to have wasted both our times. You shouldn't bother wasting yours.

The electrician was great - polite and respectful to work with and he went out of his way to do extra electrical upgrades for our house! Very pleased with this service, will use them again and recommend them as a great company.

We were looking for advice on a few electrical projects after a home inspection and Mr. Bay came out (from ABQ to Belen) to look things over for us. He answered all of our questions, was courteous and gave solid advice. His prices were reasonable and we appreciated his plain-spoken honest demeanor.
We would call him again.

Peter and his team were on time, on schedule and very professional. They do good professional work and understand the customer's electrical requirements. They also finish the job and clean up their site.

If will be possible I will give him more than 5 stars. Amazing communication, incredible knowledge, he has integrity and is so honest. Simply I can say: “ thank you Peter for all you amazing work and help.”

Peter is super knowledgeable, gung-ho and friendly. He is easy to work with and seems to know what to do to get the job done. I bought a fixer house that needs electrical upgrading, and I feel confident that he can take care of all of my electrical needs.

Peter was great. He came over and finished a job that I started that wound up being over my head. We had a small issue the next day, but he came right over and took care of it. I would highly recommend Peter!

I rarely give reviews but Current Security and Electric deserve it and they could not have been more excellent (!) in response to my emergency situation. I was in a panic about my hard-wired home smoke alarm system going off/on erratically and all referrals I received were closed. Unsure what I might find trusting internet reviews, I had little choice. Peter the owner picked up right away and explained to me both the problem and how to correct. He was willing to come out immediately or at my convenience the following day, a Sunday. He also understood my budget constraints and gave me a fair price and wise advice to purchase the units from a local vendor (and at a loss to him). He and his helper were professional and personable. They even generously agreed to get the cob webs out of my reach AND dust the high ceiling fan! I felt like I was helped by a Good Neighbor, and I'm immensely grateful.

Peter was up front with pricing and services on the phone, and he was early for the appointment and ready to get right to work.
Having moved here just weeks ago, this is a steep learning curve for us, and he gave clear and excellent explanations throughout. We actually learned useful information about how to address future issues.

Peter did an absolutely fantastic job! He went above and beyond to provide us with timely service at a very fair price. Peter was incredibly communicative, keeping in contact with us every step of the way including presenting us with multiple options to decide what would suit us best. He was very responsive and came out the following day to get our project done (on a Saturday!) after talking to him the previous afternoon about our issue. Thank you so much, Peter!! Peter was awesome! Came out and fixed my issue immediately and gave me some really great information to help combat any future issues as well. Worked fast, communicated well so there was no surprise when he showed up and didn’t have a large arrival window which was also great. Highly recommend.

On Sunday evening we had difficulty replacing a garage light and we lost power in several locations in the home and could not resolve the issue. We called electricians that offered 24/7 emergency service. No one was available. We reached Current Security and Electric later that evening and spoke with Peter. He was sorry that he didn't have an electrician available but made the effort over the phone to try and resolve the issue but we were unable to restore power. St that time all we could do was wait until the next day. However Peter called us back and referred us to his son Devin. We called Devin. He had been on a job in Edgewood - we were in Los Lunas. He said he would go by but it would probably take an hour and a half. He showed up at 9:00 and he was able to resolve the issue and restore power. He was professional, courteous, kind and explained what had happened and how he fixed it. We are so thankful that he went out of his way and drove for an hour and a half after a long day's work and in a Sunday night at that. This business, Peter and Devin went out of their way to help someone in need. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your help. We truly appreciate it.

Discovered that Peter and his Son Devon installed Hidden cameras in my daughter's room after she spotted something shining behind the vent in her bathroom.
My daughter is 12.
Found two more cameras in my son's room as well.
This has been turned over to the authorities.
They informed me they were reported on for putting hidden cameras in their rental properties as well that the Son Devon watches from home.
DO NOT USE THESE TWO GUYS.
