Home Services reviews in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Support local! Rehm's Nursery is a little gem in the urban landscape of Albuquerque. They were well stocked when we visited last. All the employees were friendly and helpful (and knowledgeable). Such a nice surprise. The big-box stores should be a last resort when you have an option like Rehm's.

I came in to buy a plant for my secret santa. I needed a pot and a saucer to go with it. I could not find a matching pot and a matching saucer so I asked for Help and basically they just stood around a kind of pointed and said that's all we got. So when I got to the counter I asked for a discount because I didn't think I had been helped and I had to purchase a saucer that did not match the pot. The young man decided to refuse me service because I said that he hadn't helped me appropriately. I never raise my voice I never used foul language I only said that I felt that I wasn't really helped as a customer. Luckily the manager came along and rang up my stuff for me. But it was not a pleasant experience and all the wreaths are way overpriced.

I didn't love the experience of staff demanding you leave 15 minutes before they close. I get it, your boss doesn't like paying overtime; still, being chased out with ample time left on the clock as a paying customer isn't cool.

This was my first visit to Rehm's. I thought it was just the building visible from Lomas and I doubted they'd have what I was looking for. I was so wrong! Great selection of tomatoes and herbs and super knowledgeable staff. This is my new go-to, for sure!

Spent some time reading the feedback on Rehm's. The good the bad the hypersensitive. Wanted to stake my claim. I'll happily pay a little extra for knowledgeable staff with decent customer service like I experienced this weekend. I like their selection of products (I bought some hose sprinklers and some grass seed). I really liked how Rehm's has plants and seeds that are native to the New Mexico soil. To me, finding customer service at Home Depot sometimes it's like a ghost town. I like how I can come to Rehm's and ask a simple question and get an answer.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I am new to plants. Everyone working there knew exactly what to recommend and they were all very kind. I will be back this week to get more plants.

Just... WOW. What an oasis in the middle of the desert. Fabulous place to get all your gardening needs. Very excited to find praying mantis eggs this year, as well as some of the most beautiful and unique pots in town. Don't miss the whole second section in the back through an overflow parking lot with all of the roses and large plants.

Such a great place! If you're a plant lover, you definitely need to check out this nursery. I found some really cool, inexpensive plants that look happy and healthy!

I only go the Rehms for my tropical plants. Everyone I've gotten over the years are still alive. They are great and don't seem to be ridden with pests or chemicals which is perfect for my animal enclosures.

I bought a few indoor and outdoor pieces for my apartment from here! Knowledgable staff, especially when he (sorry, I forgot his name) informed me about how to take care of the Mimosa/ Persian Silk Tree I just purchased today!!!! 🤩😍

Customer friendly environment. The staff at the green house section and outside plants section cleared many questions I had regarding choosing the plants, kinds, types of soil suitable for the plants i picked, plant care.
Picked a couple of home plants and a Hibiscus plant for my patio. Will surely go back to get few more plants. -
The best boutique garden center! Awesome place, amazing plants that you don’t see everywhere. Great prices. We have been getting trees and bedding plants from Rehms for thirty years and have never been disappointed. The best part is that the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Management must care about their people cause they all seem well-trained.

Very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable gentlemen. I approached several different employees for help/information and every single one of them not only gave thorough explanations but also did it with genuine joy. Look forward to coming again in the spring.

The best place to buy plants supported by amazing staff, great products, and my go to for tomatoes. I had a tree that didn't work out and they credited me for it no questions.

I’ve spent a lot of time and money on my yard, for the most part things I buy from here do well, only a few plants did not make it from year to year.

About as good a local nursery as you can get - staff are friendly and knowledgeable, prices are fair, and a great selection of plants and trees incl. native and low water items.
Really no reason to shop anywhere else, as the stuff here has a track record of thriving and it's locally owned. -
This nursery is one of my favorites in NM. Gppd variety and not super over priced (like most other places). I did wish they got more shipments of terracotta pots, but there's no way to. They only get 2 shipments a year.

This is my first time here at Rehm's nursery and it's easy to miss because its location because even though the address is Lomas the parking and entrance is on Alvarado. It's a bit on the compact side however with the limited space you'll find a super selection of trees, and shrubs. Also the greenhouse carries an excellent selection of indoor plants, many of which are unique and harder to find. I found out they had a shipment of NJoy Pothos but I couldn't make it on the day the shipment arrived because of work. However, they offered to take my name/number and called me to inform me my plants have arrived. To accommodate those of us with conflicting schedules is a sign of solid customer service, this goes out to Mr.Tyler! The entire staff is eager to take care of your gardening needs!

I've been coming to this nursery for years. They always have good seasonal selection, and the staff is nice. Also, great houseplant selection and they are willing to put your name on a waitlist for different plants.

So, the stone bath had a clearly labeled sign that said don't touch. The plastique's did not. I lifted one of the latter and the top fell and broke. I felt obligated and the clerk offered it at half price. I believe he lied to me about the price, for the stone bath was 130$. And half price for the plastic was 60? Another plastic model was available for 50$. Anyway, I chose Rehm's because it is the best nursery in an 100 block radius and a locally owned business. But BEST in that sense doesn't mean that it is good. I am sad because the 505 needs good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And then, I take the broken object home and epoxy it together; I hope the birds survive. I fill it with water and then wake up in the morning with the bath on the ground, the top separated from the base. Luckily, the epoxy held, but don't you think the clerks would encourage you to fill the base with some type of weight. No they didn't. I am glad Rehm sells b baths and even the cheap ones. But I feel like they don't want my business... Headed to the North valley!!!!!

This place has an impressive selection of trees, vegetables, flowers, and cacti—something for every type of gardener. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and eager to help. They also carry a wide range of pots in different sizes and styles. If you are looking for something specific, be sure to call ahead of time to ask staff if they have it.
One thing to note: there’s a second part of the store in the backlot, located right next to the rear parking area. I’d suggest parking there so you’re conveniently situated between both sections for easier browsing and loading.
