These guys are amazing, needed trees removed for an event I was having and they got it done in half a day when other businesses were telling me it could take a few days of work to get it done. Super professional and nice as well! Highly recommend New Horizon!

Whoever is driving their work vehicle is out here acting an utter buffoon. He ran a fully red light causing me to have to slam on my breaks to avoid hitting him, then proceeded to swerve between lanes san signal, all the while spewing yard debris over the road. If this is how they act on the road while in a truck advertising their business there is zero chance I would trust them to work on my yard.

The guy who drives a silver Toyota truck that works here drives like a petulant man-baby through my neighborhood everyday. He goes highway speeds on a 35mph residential street, he tailgates people, he flashes his brights and honks when people don't drive as fast as he wants and generally acts like a petulant child behind the wheel of his truck. I wouldn't use this company based solely on this guy's behavior.

We used this Service a number of times for a few years and they did a good job. However, price went from $150 last year to $750 this year. Same size yard. Same work. We never would have agreed to this amount. Instead, Josh blind-sided us with a huge bill AFTER he did the work this winter without ever advising us he was increasing his rates by over 500%. Buyer beware. Josh is not to be trusted.

I highly recommend Yardman for their exceptional landscaping services. I have utilized their services for various projects at both my business and home, and I have consistently been completely satisfied with the design and execution of their work.
In addition to their project work, we also rely on their maintenance services to keep our landscapes beautiful and well-maintained. I have always recommended Yardman for all landscaping needs, and I will continue to do so. -
I have use this company for several years. Always received professional knowledge and work.

Told me there was a 6 cord minimum, plus a $150.00 Delivery charge per truck. They can only carry 3 cords per truck, so delivery charge would be $300.00!
We have purchased wood from them past couple of years and this is the first mention of road conditions. Last year we were told that there was a 6 cord minimum but since one of our neighbors needed firewood as well we didn't question it too much. Total surprise this year , when someone we thought we could rely on for wood suddenly says that to deliver to us would cost us an extra 480.00 this year. this is quite extreme for someone who relies on wood for heat for the winter.
As to the road being "Impassible" we and all the people living here use the road daily to drive to work and back in passenger cars and if you are actually worried about the " safety of your drivers " Why would you reuire a minimum of 6 cords meaning that you would have to send two trucks here instead of one? -
I rate this company no stars.... mainly because the experience our family had bordered on "elder abuse". There was a "hard sell" and a huge estimate (double of what the company that actually did it for) plus on top of the outrageous estimate, the process was literally NOT needed.... what was proposed was a long drawn out process, (10+ days once started - and the start time kept being pushed off for more than a month) ... come to find out the other company had the entire job done in 2 days! CRAZY!!!! Then, when it was asked to recoup the deposit, as services were not going to be rendered in a timely fashion, and after the office manager and the sales person called my mother a liar and after we could NOT get anyone to return calls and after my mother got yelled at by both the manager, the owner, and the salesman! We finally had to get a lawyer and other family involved to get the money back. Be wary of what is promised. We are thankful this is finally settled. So, one star due to the fact we did finally get the deposit returned and this experience is done.

I ordered 7 tons of Cobblestone from this company after visiting the yard. The rock looked good and they had no problem taking my order and charging me for it. Ever since it has been a nightmare! They delivered 80-90% Dirt and some cobblestone in the mix. I called immediately and was unable to reach a manager or anybody who was able to do anything about it . About 10 days later I received a call from a very rude woman who basically called me a liar which is the worst part about this whole ordeal . I would never lie much less over a few hundred dollars. It’s an insult to myself and the rest of the hard working Albuquerque community. On top of all this it has costed me more money in labor to have this pile of rubbish removed from my front yard than what the rock is worth. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE LIARS AND DOWN RIGHT BAD PEOPLE!

After buying almost $1,200 worth of Rock to do my front yard and part of my backyard. I need about five more buckets to finish an area alongside my fence they told me they had a 1 yard minimum.the manager said I could buy four buckets but I'd have to pay the one-yard price. I offered $10 for the five buckets and they turned it down. Not very good customer service.
I told the manager I had one 5lb bucket a 3 smaller ones. understand the 1/2yd policy. They scoop the rock from a tractor it would be hard for me believe that the amount of rock they scoop each time is exact.
I would recommend going to buildology since they use a scale to weigh out what your getting. -
For my new patio, the designer told me all he could find were bricks from Home Depot that didn’t match my existing walkway. It would have looked awful if I’d believed him, but instead I found bricks that matched from a manufacturer here in town. When I mentioned this to him, he told me that working on my courtyard was like “putting lipstick on a pig”. They had to move my sprinkler hub to accommodate the new patio, and they didn’t re-install it according to code, so I had to pay another company to do it properly. When the patio was installed at a slope instead of flat, the woman answering the phone in the office took forever to reschedule the job, and was combative and unapologetic. They also resurfaced my and my neighbors gravel driveway, and didn’t use a tractor as requested but instead sent a crew with shovels which didn’t get the potholes out; and they also used round crusher fine instead of flat that would be appropriate for compacting a driveway, so now our driveway is worse than ever and we have to pay another company to remove the crusher fines Pete’s brought in. I referred Pete’s to a client of mine and she shared with me how disappointed she was with them.

Never going back. Paid $150 after tax for this stack of wood. Measured it, and it’s 1/6th of a cord. They claimed to sell wood in “1/4th cord racks” that are 4’x4’, but math says that would only be a 1/4th cord if the logs were 2’ long; they’re not. At 16-18”, you get shorted 1/3 of the wood you pay for. It’s cheaper to buy $5 apiece bundles at Smith’s.
Never going back.
