Craig did an excellent job at an excellent price on a large and old Juniper tree in our yard. He underbid others by hundreds and was available as soon as I was ready. I cannot be more thankful for his great service than I am!

I called the Ax Man because I had 3 Afghan Pine trees that were turning brown. Craig and Mario came out and diagnosed the trees of having bores. They trimmed, treated and applied root enhancers. The job was very professional and reasonably priced. The clean-up was exceptional. I will continue to hire him. Oh and my trees are looking, really good! I am so thankful!

Craig took down three huge trees that were terrifyingly close to my house in just a few days. He always stayed in touch with me so I knew when he was coming. The job site was kept VERY clean every day. Craig and his helpers were polite and pleasant and easy to deal with. I would definitely use the Axe Man again.

I talked to Craig and he quoted me a price, after talking to my wife he added a couple hundred more for a little more work. My wife added more work and the price doubled again. He broke part of the irrigation system and never repaired it correctly and now we have to call someone reputable to fix what he didn't and what he broke. Now he will not answer any texts. Be warned, get everything in writing with this guy.

We hired Axe Man to come and do two trees for $900 and has yet to finish the job. Craig (Axe Man) says he is going to show up at a certain time and shows up late or not at all. When he shows up he DOES work it’s just the inconsistency of time management and communication (We tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and told him we understood). He quoted us two days of work and told us we were the first priority, and it has now been about two weeks. He has left a mess in the neighbors property and has not finished and was more worried about a tree we didn’t ask him to do. We have texted him and have now called twice with no responses to either our texts/calls.

Update - Finally did a bit more to the tree and picked up mess, asked if we wanted more done but with how he lacks communication and professionalism we won’t use his services again

The Axe Man (Craig) did a wonderful job trimming my palm tree and cleaning up afterward. His prices are reasonable and he's a nice guy!

Called Axe Man around 2:00, showed up to give me an estimate around 4:00. Gave me a reasonable price and tree was removed by 7:00. Would recommend and hire again.

As a Isa certified arborist in your area, please wear a helmet it's professional and safe and keeps you from being able to sue if you get hurt, please stop spiking palms or any tree that is not being removed, please disinfect your equipment with Cato before to avoid cross contamination, please learn srt so you are fast and do not need spikes, please get your Isa certification and learn removals are not always the answer start using treatments and educate the customers. No offense but your stuck in 1985 and your doing more harm to the industry and your customers. You are supposed to be a reflection of this industry and learn to to strive and learn more other wise you make the industry standards poor and others look bad. Your sir are not am arborist yet your just a guy with a rope and saw for right now. I know it's also hard to believe but we really don't use spikes that much anymore and there are much better ways to work and be safer, when I go to a job I explain the education and training we receive, the testing and schooling and what it takes to be a real arborist. We are watching mr axe man so please do better for yourself and the trees we take pride in our work and you should to, were your helmet be safe climb high and study and start making a image for yourself that sets the professionalism not only the industry but also yourself. I will be more than happy to teach you all sorts of stuff you could use in your tool box thank you for your time.( Isa board certified master arborist Ryan Nugent ) I have included some photos of what safety and climbing should look like.

Craig and his crew came by and took down a palm tree within an hour! I’m not entirely sure how tall the palm tree was, but I would say the very minimum it must’ve been 20 feet. I’m not the professional but clearly they are. He gave me a really good deal in all honesty, I don’t think anyone would’ve given me a price like that, done a good job like that, as well as being respectful. They did great all around, did even more than they needed to with what they picked up. One hundred percent, if you need a job done this would be the crew to go to. They know what they’re doing. I will be going to them again! Appreciate you all!

This is the second time I've used Joshua's tree service. He trimmed and fed my large ash back in 2024, it was healthy and beautiful that whole year! I should have had him come in 2025 to feed but I thought I could do it myself. My tree did not do well in the 2025 heat and it developed a little insect problem. Don't do it yourself! I asked him to come and assess my ash for insects and feeding. He is very knowledgeable about trees, and explained some of the things that were going on with my tree, and how he could tell. I'm looking forward to a healthy tree this year. Fair pricing, too! Next year in the spring I'm not going to do this myself, I'm calling Joshua's!

He partners with his son, joshua Jr, who also does landscaping, Battle Castle. I had them put in some landscaping rock after Joshua Sr treated my tree. Excellent as well, but I'll leave a separate 5-star review for battle castle

So I guess I'm a liar or hacker. Really! That's ok, the guys in the Green trucks CALLED me back. Came out looked at my real tree in the back yard gave me an estimate, and are getting my business.

If you want the best tree service no need to call anyone else. They will answer your call, not like the other ones that say they will call you back in 24 hours. Customer service is awesome. When they say they're going to show up they come. The price was also the best that you can get in Las Cruces NM

These guys did a great job pruning 2 mulberries by my pool. It’s a tight area, they were very professional and hauled off 1000 pounds of wood. They left everything clean. Thanks

Joshua is a very nice person. He arrived while I was gone and when I got home he had already gotten a good start on one tree. He replaced an antisiphon valve on the front watering system. He will be back this week to fix the back system. I will hire him again.

What a true blessing it was meeting Josh and Jasmine today. We are going through a very difficult time and they came to my house and helped us without hesitation. If you need tree service, these two are the only people I highly recommend. Thank you guys so much!!! 🙏

We are new in town. I had some trees I needed removed from our new place but after talking to some of the "tree guys" here pulling a few trees was starting to feel like pulling teeth. But then I called Josh and he was available, priced the work right, did a thorough job and cleaned up entirely when done. I have hired many contractors and I know it is not everyday you find someone this conscientious. Like I said I talked to some other tree guys in town and I wish I had called Josh first and saved a lot of time. He took out two Afghan Pines (bonus: he identified what was killing them and treated my remaining trees for fungus for free - another "expert" missed that big time). And he left the yard cleaner than he found it. In the short time I've been here I dealt with a few contractors that soured me but Josh renewed my faith in people. He knows what he is doing, remains humble and beats expectations. A good dude...Hire him without hesitation!

They removed a tree and replaced it with another tree but it went into transplant shock. They said they would replace it but never came back. We are not happy with their service.

Joshua and his team are great at what they do and just as importantly they are prompt, responsive and fair. Joshua took great care of my trees which were mangled by Asplundh, he cleaned them up and fed them and cleared away the branches right away. I highly recommend him!
