Steve's company is amazing! They reworked our backyard to make it pretty and peaceful. They built a fireplace with bancos, pond, flagstone sitting area and new sod and sprinklers. They also built a duck enclosure with a pond. It's more like a cabana and our ducks love it!!!!!! Steve can design and execute anything you ask him for. Best landscaper in Albuquerque. His staff are always courteous and professional.

We have had the personnel of Steve Shelly Landscapes working on our property for several years. They are very knowledgeable about plants, the lawn grass, and invading insects. Any problems that occur are immediately dealt with. Any suggestions that we have are discussed with us and in turn are included in their work if appropriate. I needed help with several small projects - repair of the irrigation system for my small rose garden, and cutback of cactus on the side of my house. Was concerned that my job might be too small for a professional landscaper, but John graciously took my order and was even able to provide quick service when they had a cancellation. Luther did an excellent job with the cactus, and skillfully repaired the irrigation system. I feel very fortunate to have discovered Steve Shelly Landscapes!

Steve Shelly Landscapes repaired a railroad tie retaining wall and replaced our weed infested, dying, lawn with sod. We have used Steve Shelly in the past for landscaping repair/improvement needs and always have the same fantastic results. The team at Steve Shelly is professional, skilled, quick, and they are careful of the overall yard environment. I highly recommend this company for any landscaping need that you may have.

LIAR. ZERO integrity. Insane $3,800+ for yard plans. 1st crew installed 1” drip pipe on top of plants, string/wire/mesh not removed from trees, drips not working, tore out Photinia I planted, holes dug to fit shrubs snugly (who does that?), no wells for any trees/shrubs. Did opposite of everything asked. 2nd (so called “best”) crew: 1” pipe and 1/4" drip lines never buried. 1 pinon died. Wouldn’t refund queue fee without legal persuasion. Negative 10 stars if possible. STAY AWAY from this NO INTEGRITY LIAR.

We enjoyed working with Steve and his crews to get our large backyard landscaped. Steve worked with us to understand our thoughts and ideas for the yard then came back with a plan. We worked through several changes on the plans to meet our budget. The crews worked with us for minor, non-plan changing updates while Steve was able to incorporate more substantial changes as work progressed. Overall we are very pleased with the end result

Steve is a pleasure to work with. Very professional, creative, listens to customer ideas and inputs, and comes up with options I would have never even considered. A true artist at his work, yet practical in the art of the possible. I have a very small backyard to work with for example and Steve found ways to make my space attractive and functional without leaving out any of the "must haves" I wanted to include. Works very well with other contractors which is key to planning and implementing an expensive project. Highly recommended!

Brandon, Donovan, and George have always done a great job weeding, cleaning up all the old leaves and just generally leaving the yard looking beautiful!
