Reviews of local pros in Bloomfield, New York

I had a Large Ash Tree that had been infected with the Ash Bore as well as a Sugar Maple that had been struck by lightning. Recent high winds had also broke a main trunk on a spectacular Tulip Tree. I was anticipating have to remove that tree as well. While on Facebook, I noticed an advertisement for Tree Removal/Arborists from Tree Bros and gave them a call. Eric Kotlik the owner quickly returned my call and visited the property the next day. We agreed on a price and he performed the necessary work including the removal of 3 trees, grind the stumps and chipped all the small branches and raked up any remaining debris. He successfully pruned my Tulip Tree and I was able to save it. I cut my lawn later that day and your could not tell they were there were it not for the trees missing! Anyway, needless to say, I would highly recommend Tree Bros, LLC for any of your tree work. Not only is their equipment new, but everyone on the job was courteous, professional & efficient. However, what really impressed me the most was the integrity of the owner, Eric Kotlik. Very refreshing to see in the crazy world we live in today! Thank you Eric for a job well done. Stay in touch!

Tree Bros gave us an estimate last summer for removal of two huge dead willows, one of which had fallen and gotten stuck into a third tree during 2019 (!). Because of continued flooding in Honeoye, the ground had remained wet from that time through January 2022.

I'm still impressed with Eric's grasp of the situation and swift action: anticipating sub zero temperatures, he cleared an area in the yard one day, then returned a few days later when the ground had frozen like concrete. He and a team member expertly removed the trees and ground the stumps without destroying the yard or bringing heavy equipment to an area that is not easily accessible. They were most attentive to our concerns, and the price was excellent for the type of work being done.

He cut the trees down during the only two-day period that it was possible to do so in the preceding two + years!

Eric's encyclopedic knowledge of trees and plants informs his work in the best possible way. His approachability makes it easy to communicate with him, and his easy going yet professional attitude transformed a typically stressful situation [based on previous bad experiences with other tree removal services] into something that was actually fun to witness.

We wouldn't hesitate to use Tree Bros for tree removal or arborist work in the future. They did a stellar job.

I had two very tall pines within a few yards of my house and they appeared to lean towards the home. Eric came to assess the situation and agreed they should come down. Eric and his team came within one week to safely take down both trees without incident. Very polite and professional. I'll definitely have them back again for future needs!

Eric and his team did a fantastic job removing a giant ash tree from my daughter’s property. The crew did an exceptional job paying attention to detail and took every safety measure possible. They did an outstanding job with removal and cleanup as well. I would highly recommend them to anyone with tree removal needs.

We hired Tree Bros to take down five trees and grind the stumps, and we couldn’t be happier with their work. Our yard was left clean, and there was no damage to neighboring trees or other obstructions. Tree Bros is a well-equipped professional company with workers who are both friendly and hardworking. We would definitely hire them in the future and highly recommend using them.

Tree Bros are amazing! Eric and the team did an emergency call, when the high winds dropped a 24 in locust on my house. Luckily they could come very quickly, The crane truck made the job look easy, with Josh cutting and rigging some massive logs off the roof. They cut up three other trees to clear the driveway. They cleaned up the brush and chipped up almost everything. I couldn’t have been happier.

I had Tree Bros scheduled to do some tree trimming when a wind storm downed a large tree right in the middle of my yard. I immediately reached out to Eric for help. He responded quickly and answered all of my questions. He was patient and understanding while I worked with my insurance company. When it came time to do the work, him and his team did an amazing job removing the tree and cleaning up the yard. I can't recommend them enough!

We had a large silver maple that was overhanging our shed and dying. Eric and his crew did a fantastic job safely getting it removed without damage. He also trimmed a second tree for us. He was very professional and had all the necessary equipment to do a thorough job. They cleaned everything up after they were done. Would highly recommend him!

This company is my go to for tree work. Highly recommend them. Communication is exceptional. They got us squeezed into the schedule way earlier than anticipated and the price was fair. Knowledgeable, skilled and just an overall pleasure to work with.

Eric and crew are very professional as well as friendly. Two very large 60' silver maple trees were taken down safely and removed without incident. Trees had to be taken down carefully due to obstacles (house, fencing, pool, other trees)in the area. Took extra care not to damage lawn while moving equipment into area by laying large mats down for the heavy equipment to travel on. Cleaned up meticulously after the job was completed, all debris was removed and taken away. Price was very reasonable and I would highly recommend using the Tree Brothers.

Eric and his team did a wonderful job removing three trees from our front yard and branches from our back. Great communication from time of the quote through job completion! I would highly recommend Tree Bros!

Eric responded quickly to my call and completed the tree trimming/removal in a timely manner, which was necessary for the installation of a fence. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done. Eric and his crew were friendly, efficient, and did a wonderful job. You would never know that they had been here, except for the fact that a big tree was missing from my front yard!

Eric & his crew did an excellent job removing 4 trees, along with trimming a few trees & grinding the stumps. They safely removed trees right next to our cottage & sheds. Eric is very knowledgeable & professional. They did a great job cleaning up everything when they were done. I would highly recommend Tree Bros.

We were given a detailed estimate for the removal of several very large trees from our property. They arrived on the scheduled day and were busy during the entire engagement. They removed all evidence of the trees except the stumps and a couple of buckets of mulch, even clearing the sawdust from the driveway leaving our property in excellent shape. They were as professional as could be expected and we were really impressed by their knowledge of how to approach the trees that were very close to the house. We would highly recommend Eric and his crew and will call on them again
to help us in the future.

Kari and Eric are a pleasure to work with. They took down many trees on our property and they did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. There were no surprises. The team was very respectful of our property and cleaned up every day before they left. We wouldn't have anyone else do tree work on our property.

Eric & Kari are awesome, plain and simple! We have needed some trees that were very large and close to our house taken down and Eric and the team did it with comeplete ease. We have used Tree Bro's three times and will continue to use them for all of our tree removal and clean up. Eric is a very knowledgable arborist and makes sure the job is done in a timely manner and the job is done well. Kari is always very responsive and on top of any scheduling and/or billing questions. Thanks for everything you guys do!

Professional and knowledgeable, with transparent and easy to understand quotes - What's not to like? Eric successfully coordinated with our utility provider and removed large white pines near our house. His team of Tree Bros are professional and passionate about their work - they obviously love trees. Can't recommend the Tree Bros enough.

Thanks Eric!

Eric and his crew did an exceptional job taking down a very large tree close to my house. They are very hard workers and took care not to damage nearby small shrubs and trees. They also did a great job cleaning up. Both Eric and Kari were a pleasure to deal with and I think the pricing was very fair and reasonable..

We are super happy with our big willow tree removal by Tree Bros LLC. They came out to provide an estimate and talk to us about what we needed done a few weeks ago, and then came back to do the job today. The tree had power lines around it and other obstacles, but there were zero issues, Friendly, efficient, and courteous - they got our big tree done with a crew of 4 or 5 and all cleaned up in a few hours flat. Very pleased and will definitely be calling Eric and the crew again if the need arises, as well as recommend them to others.

Tree Bros LLC was exceptionally good to work with on our Canandaigua, NY home. From Eric, the owner, through his office staff, and all of the way out to the workers on the ground, it was a great experience.

When we needed the initial estimate, Eric was quick to set up an appointment, came when he said he would, gave us a clear easily understandable estimate, and then, on the day scheduled for him to come and do the work, he came and did the work, quickly, perfectly, and with no complications or surprise charges.

He and his crew went above and beyond to make sure that this property was well cared for in addition to skillfully and professionally completing the entire job as promised.

We could not be happier with this company and will certainly hire them again for any tree work that we need in the future.

Absolutely outstanding service!
