Reviews of local pros in Bloomfield, New York

Nick and his team were very prompt with helping us to remove the uprooted tree from our frontyard. The couple that did the job came a few minutes before the set time, was very polite and professional and did the job in less than 30mins! Highly recommended.

Nick Faisst/585Tree was excellent from response to inquiry about doing tree work, arriving on time the day of appointment, to a knowledgeable assessment of tree work, to forwarding a fair price, to arriving exactly on time to do the work. Work done expertly with crew of 2 who cleaned up everything. Left no trace of major work. I could not have been more please. Highly recommend . (PS we got 585Tree from 2 neighbors who were pleased with his work. I had had 4 other companies come, assess, over sell on other "work to be done' and then never followed up on work. )
585Tree/Nick are 5 stars in my book.

Nick was very responsive and professional. He outlined the details of the job, was compassionate when I expressed safety concerns related to job urgency (tree leaning over driveway/cars), and was timely in completing the job that same week. Highly recommend!

I'm writing on behalf of my grandmother who used Nick's services (and who I also met; he's great and we would say 10 stars if we could!). See her review below:

I would recommend Nick for any job. He responded to my phone call the next day and fit us into his busy schedule during the first week. Our problem was an almost 200 year old willow tree that was rotting and falling at will. Nick and his crew came on a Saturday and worked at least 10 hours doing a wonderful job on the tree cutting. Nick's team has wonderful work ethics and stamina to complete the job. When they were done every single twig, leaf, etc. was gone and there was not a speck of sawdust or anything to indicate that a tree had been removed that day. At the completion of the removal Nick also spread grass seed around all of the wounded areas.

Nick had been called by me a few times throughout the year for work on the same tree. He actually subtracted the fees for those earlier visits to make my final payment very reasonable.

I called 585Tree to trim an oak tree this summer, but after Nick came over to check out the location, he gave me several estimates for future projects I wanted to eventually get done. The price was so much better than I expected that I had them trim the oak, a maple, and remove two spruce trees and stumps in one day. I was afraid the trees would be hard to get to with my setup, but the crew was able to no problem. They were professional, knew what they were doing, and cleaned up all the branches, leaves, etc when they were done. Anything that needed to be moved around before hand (fence panels removed, patio lights taken down) were put back in place. I will definitely hire these guys again without hesitation for any future projects

Nick and his crew were great. On time for appointment, quick and thorough removal, and all cleanup. Reassuring to have such a good team when they're taking 50+ ft trees down directly next to your house. My neighbor immediately came over asking for their info.

Nick, Jake and Ben took on a huge job in removing some 50+ dead ash trees from our backyard. They were great through and through and extremely professional and responsive. Even when things went a bit awry given unexpected challenges, Nick was great they went above and beyond. Highly recommend them.

We had a very good experience with Nick and his crew. In the end, he took down about 18 trees after a microburst ripped through our property. 50’+ trees were tangled together to make quite the mess. It was no problem for Nick and the yard looked cleaner at the end than when he started. Much appreciate the professionalism. Wish all contractors were such a pleasure to work with. We have him coming back to clean up some other trees that were less urgent. Highly recommend.

I reached out to Nick and the 585tree crew and they were able to come out and assess my small job (I had a dead branch way at the top of a mature maple tree) give me a quote and get the job done all in the same day. They were fast, reliable, clean and trustworthy. I’ll definitely be going back to them for my free servicing needs.

Nick and his crew were amazing, did an A+ job removing a poplar tree which was up against a shed. I'd had a prior estimate from another service and in addition to them giving me a gouging price they wanted to trim other nearby tree branches which I knew was totally unnecessary. So thrilled to have found 585Tree and Nick, he definitely is a professional as well as prompt, pleasant and courteous. I highly recommend him.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A neighbor and I had more than a dozen ash trees taken down. It took two days of work.
Nick and his team did an excellent job at a very reasonable price (I had gotten several other estimates.)
They did exactly what Nick said they would do - showed up on time, protected the lawn from damage, expertly took down the trees, and thoroughly cleaned up the yards. Finally, they put down topsoil and grass seed where needed.
The entire crew was friendly and professional. Nick was always quick to respond to a text or phone call.
585Tree is a five star business - I absolutely recommend them!

I went through a few consults for our tree work on our property with very mature trees. Nick was fair, efficient, and gave options for us that fit our budget. His price was the best out of all of the other companies for the amount of work to be done. I really liked the written estimate process because it was easy via phone app and I could sign for it electronically. No paper back and forth. Timeframe was reasonable and they were very clean and thorough. I will definitely be using 585 tree again for more work in the future for our property. It’s great peace of mind to have this done. Thanks Nick and team for the great work!

We had a really difficult job with 6 very large trees too close to our house for comfort. Nick came to our house twice to answer questions and give the quote - very reasonable. We never had to wait, in just a few weeks they showed up as planned. A couple of inches of snow happened the night before, so when they showed up anyways and used leaf blowers to clear the way for their equipment I was impressed. A couple of days later and lots of exciting tree climbing to watch and the trees were gone. Very impressed with their clean-up. He even had his guys raking the leaves from my sloped area. He would not take the payment until everything was finished. Since this was a large winter job, he even offered to come by in the spring and fill in any divots and reseed. He treated our property like it was his own. I would absolutely recommend Nick and his team for any work you want done on your property. I certainly will call them again the next time I need something done.

Nick and the team did a great job on our project. They had to remove several infected /affected trees. They arrived early and worked efficiently! They cleaned up after they were done and did a great job. Very personable and hard working. I’d recommend them for sure! Thank you much.

Incredible experience with 585Tree! Nick and his crew are amazing!! I had taken 5 other quotes from other tree removal businesses and Nick was the most knowledgeable and organized and offered the best price option. The entire experience start to finish was smooth and easy, they worked quickly and efficiently and took great care in cleaning up once they were finished. I am beyond impressed with their work and level of professionalism. I would highly recommend 585 Tree to anyone who is looking for tree removal service. These guys are the best!

I just had 11 trees cut down and about 16 stumps removed and Nick and his crew were amazing. I can honestly say this was the best experience I have ever had with anyone doing work at my home and I have had lots of contractors in the past. He took great care to clean up after the job too. He was so good that all four neighbors who could see him doing the work are either going to have tree work done by him or have already had their jobs completed after getting quotes from Nick. I will definitely use this company again.

He and his helpers did a wonderful job and was professional and pleasant to work with. Thank you.

Andy and his crew did a great job for us. I would recommend him without reservation...

Andy did an excellent job of widening the entrance, cutting in a new drainage swale, and rebuilding the driveway.

The best service I've ever experienced construction or otherwise. He took away big garbage item like tires, water heater, and plumbing materials, just because he had room. He mowed the lawn just because. Timely and professional. The end product is fantastic.

Reliable and timely work. Set some stones at my house and was very happy with how it turned out.
