We’ve had many contractors, and the results would always be the same “inferior workmanship”. Mr. Cruz is quite the opposite. You get top notch workmanship and a job completed in record time. He has completely removed replaced our front steps. Replaced sidewalk and cleared the violation, pointed and waterproofed the bricks on the house, installed a complete new roof.

The M Cruz team are very professional with their work. I got a roof leaking problem from few years. they fixed it very well with the best price. Highly recommended 👌👌

Hired SPM to prepare our coop for sale. This included painting, tile work, replacing a vanity and associated plumbing. They did a very nice job and importantly communicated regularly and got everything done promptly. Handled changes without issue and were focused on making sure we were happy with their ideas and work. We were! And, they left the apt cleaner than it was when they arrived.

Steve has been wonderful to work with. He does very good work and brings a great attitude and a lot of creativity to the job. Mine wasn't a big job but Steve approached it with the same attention to detail and enthusiasm as if it was.

I had a prominent ink mark that wouldn't budge on a light colored cabinet. Others were baffled by how to handle it, but Steve was nonplussed and had it off in no time. I had some tricky closet doors that again left others scratching their heads but Steve came up with a successful way to re-install them. I had him do quite a few general contracting fixes throughout my apartment and he did a good job on all of them.

In addition, in a field where contractors are notorious for being unreachable and going MIA, it's a breath of fresh air to find someone who shows up, is very accessible, and aims to please with the quality of his work.

Steve, Mike and their team worked on our apartment for 7 days to open a few walls for new entrances, remove and close old doors, install new recessed lighting throughout, build a new bar and closet, put up a new (sound-proof) office in the living room, etc. They were terrific. We worked with Steve on planning the project for almost a year (with a few delays on our end) and it was flawlessly executed. Very good and responsive communication, organization, transparent pricing, great execution with excellent team (construction, electrician, HVAC, etc.). Couldn't recommend SPM Contracting more (and we tried others too). We will definitively use them again for the next project.

These guys are great! They arrived on time, listened to all my requests, were very pleasant and fast. They also cleaned up my apartment nicely when they left. They did a really good job and even came back to do some very nit-picky details for me. I highly recommend Steve and his team!
