My husband and I own a brand new LG washer/dryer (front load). When we heard loud banging in our washing machine, we contacted LG who connected us to SMV repair. Our technician was very diligent in inspecting, repairing and checking our machine post repair. Marina, the person who answers the calls and organizes the schedule, is also very lovely and easy to speak with. Our washer/dryer works better than ever before!! I highly recommend their services.

Connected with SMV through LG to repair my fridge, compressor and evaporator were shot. Received a call from Marina who is attentive and very nice, she kept me updated anytime there was a new development in the work order- communication means a lot. Sergiy (I apologize if I spelled that wrong) arrived early and on time- he also called 15 minutes ahead of arrival to notify he was almost at my home, that doesnt sound like much but I think thats the first time someone did that even though everyone says "the tech will call you shortly before they arrive". No games, the man came in and what I was expecting to be a several hour job only took an hour and a half at most. Anyways- great service, kind people, and again- they COMMUNICATE efficiently, thats 👨‍🍳👌. Will be saving their number and recommending these guys to anyone in need of similar services. Thank you to Marina, Sergiy, and team.

Update: the replacement compressor from LG was defective, producing a lot of vibration and not fully maintaining the temperature in the fridge. The SMV technician Alex came back a week and a half ago to try an fix the issue, but could not. SMV ordered another compressor which they replaced for us today. As before, Alex showed up on time and worked quickly, and this time it looks like we have a good compressor.

Victor was contracted to fix my refrigerator through LG, due to the refrigerator and freezer stopped getting cold. Victor arrived on time, within a day of the repair request. Victor quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad compressor. Within an hour of diagnosis Victor had my refrigerator repaired. The compressor on an LG refrigerator has a ten year warranty, so the repair was free of charge. Awesome job all around!!

Victor did an excellent and swift job. He immediately recognized the reason my ice maker wasn't working due to a loose, undone wire during the installation process so the freezer door couldn't tell it was closed. He attatched the wire correctly and reassembled the freezer doors. He was in and out within 15 minutes, I couldn't be happier with the work done. Highly recommend!

SMV was 110% professional fixing my LG refrigerator. They even came all the way from Brooklyn to Connecticut to do the job. This was an out-of-warranty, flat-rate LG repair (about $458 with tax), and everything went smoothly from start to finish.

Marina set up my appointment. She asked all the right questions to make sure the necessary parts would be on the truck, told me what to expect, and spoke with honesty and intelligence. She really knows what she’s talking about. On the day of service, Marina called me with an update on the technician’s arrival time.

Mikhail was in & out in 90 minutes. He knew exactly what he was doing. After a quick diagnostic he swapped out the compressor and dryer, and updated the code on the control board. Mikhail was careful not to melt any plastic with his torch and even took the time to fix a screw on the back panel that had been installed wrong at the factory. The next day, both refrigerator and freezer were back to operating temperatures and it’s still working perfectly.
