Totally professional and totally worth it,, Their expertise in old buildings really made the transition into Modern Electric very easy for a family who doesn't know too much about electricity,, Everything was explained in detail with no hidden costs,,, Scott was very upfront about pricing and very knowledgeable About the entire field.

Scott at CEL Electric is that rare find in NYC - an electrician that knows what he’s doing, took the time to be thoughtful, offers accurate pricing without add-ons, and starts and finishes on time/as planned. He is flexible and adept at working with multiple parties - in my case different apartments and tenants - and kept everyone juggled and happy. His adjacent team that finished up the work of patching, replacing tile, and repainting were also really good and he got them all lined up and scheduled for me. I would heartily recommend him.

Came within an hour of outreach and fixed something in the same way I tried before. Kindly didn’t charge me for the 2 minute stop (nor showed any judgment for my ineffectiveness). I will certainly think of them first for any future need.

I live on Carol Street in Carol Gardens in an old brownstone. .
I hired CEL to do a bunch of electric work in my house, he had to run the lines from the basement up three stories and sort out another electrician’s work. After finishing the job, I examined it. Everything was nice and neat and satisfactory, everything was working properly. He’s respectful and courteous and very clean. I would definitely hire him again and also let everyone else know that he’s an excellent electrician with reasonable prices. F.P.

Scott came by quickly and identified the issue quickly. He explained exactly what replacement part I needed and we agreed that I’d get it. Once it arrived Scott came back quickly, made the repair and finished the job. Super easy and pain free!

I had Alex come over to do some electrical work and he went above and beyond to get the job done. I totally recommend him as an electrician.

My house needed a lot of upgrade
When guys came they did a lot of jobs with proffessional approach. Quality work. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a tricky electrical upgrade for our 5th floor co-op apartment that required running a new line up, without distrupting all the other residents in an old building. The guys at Electric Empire were great - not only installing the upgrade, but also liaising with the super and board to make sure everyone was happy. Renovations in NYC are never easy, but I was very glad we chose Electric Empire so that this part went smoothly!

Pro electric did some work for us last year. We are now again having some issues with the same circuit they worked on last time. Have made repeated calls to schedule a service call to address the problem. After answering one call, in which they promised to get back to me (but never did), they stopped returning my calls. I left four messages. Needless to say we are extremely disappointed and dissatisfied and would not recommend this business to others.

I called Mark Because our Power went out in My two family home. He was very helpfull found a failed breaker and fixed it. Honest and great price for this repair. I will always use them great people!!!
