Urban Standard was GC for my pre-COVID residential remodel. Up front, on time, and careful. Loved the finished product.

Urban Standard did a gut renovation of my brownstone apartment on the Upper West Side. They did everything: floors, electrical, walls, doors, completely new kitchen. And they did it all while I was living across the country! They are reliable, communicative and so clean! My neighbors loved them. True pros. I'll use them again.

I can't say how thrilled I am with the renovations Downtown Complete Construction just finished in my apartment. I interviewed two other GC's before Amy and neither noticed things (errors from previous renos) that Amy did right off the bat. She is not only extraordinarily knowledgeable and professional, she is thorough (from her scope of work to making sure any small grout spot was removed), a pleasure to work with and is totally engaged from start to finish. Before I committed she invited me to see a project on which they were currently working. Either she or her teammate Liz (also a pleasure and totally responsive) were at my apartment at least twice a day to check in. They were always available by text or email and were genuinely interested in my satisfaction. All of their employees are skilled craftsman, super diligent and respectful.The finished product is stunning; honestly even more beautiful than I imagined it would be. I wouldn't hesitate to hire DCC again and to highly recommend them to anyone doing renovations, construction or remodeling.

They took our dank, unfinished basement and made a really, really nice home office out of it. It was a challenging basement to do, but they installed the proper types of toilets and fixtures to deal with being below the level of the sewer. We're very happy with the work.

Downtown Complete just finished a full house renovation for us and it looks great! All new floors throughout; full kitchen and 2 full bathroom renovations; demo and re-framing of the downstairs; and breaking out a wall to put in a large window. They also painted the whole house, and built a custom mantle for our fireplace! The guys are really nice, very knowledgeable, and always leave the house clean. We couldn't be happier!

They were exceptionally fast in quoting the job! And that was just what I was looking for! These days most contractors take weeks sometimes more than a month to quote a job and get back to you with numbers. Kevin and Steve was a very refreshing experience in dealing with general contractors. They were very professional and made the process easier and not stressful.

After dealing with multiple contractors and having increasingly negative interactions and experiences with each I was referred to Agro Construction- a true blessing in every sense of the word.
From the start, Kevin was responsive, courteous and honest. He walked myself and my wife through every step of the process, assisted us in choosing the right materials for the job and laid out the proper design for everything we dreamt of and more. No pressure- no stress. He even helped save us a ton of money by finding creative ways to accomplish exactly what we were looking for without having to dramatically change the layout of our home. Agro construction was by far the best contractor I have ever used. He and his staff are knowledgeable in all aspects of home remodeling. I was very well advised by Agro, meaning his recommendation on things like insulation, electric, plumbing and flooring were 100% spot on and in fact saved me money in certain areas.
He and his staff possess the “know how” that’s need to get the job done. This resulted in less demolition and less mess. Agro remodeled my entire attic which included insulation, sheet rock, electric, a bathroom, flooring, windows, framing and a stair case remodel.
