We had our sidewalk in Brooklyn redone as it was a hazard and the work that was done was absolutely first class. Of all the bids- we loved working with Progressive— they were straight forward and clear and so easy to deal with and communicate with— no hidden expenses— they did all the permit work and the results are so beautiful and elegant. The whole process was a joy.

Exterior repair and painting of building including steps. Very professional, fast service, friendly workers. At the end of each workday the property was swept clean. We were amazed at how quickly the work was done and they supplied additional paint for touch ups. We highly recommend them. They do not disappoint!

Mohammad Hossain and his team at Progressive Contracting did a fantastic job of repointing the foundation and fireproofing the ceiling in the basement of our Park Slope brownstone. Work began a two days after his original visit. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with and provided daily photos of each day's progress. They arrived promptly every morning and respected our coop's rules of construction. They are licenced and insured.

Where to start. First I shopped about 4 different contractors to restore my crumbling brownstone stoop. A couple crazy expensive estimates and one suspiciously low. Progressives price was right on target, and Mohammed was super responsive. The team they had working on my stoop restoration was respectful to me and my neighbors, clean, and did an impeccable job. Any questions I had were answered immediately throughout the process. I literally walk home and it puts a smile on my face to look at my stoop. Will post an updated review once a few years have gone by, as that would be be the true final test :)

We hired Progressive Contracting to apply aluminum coating and fix a leaky roof. They also power washed our floors and applied concrete coating. The floor looks great! There was a few leak spots still on our roof but Mohammad came and fixed it right away. His customer service is GREAT. His prices are very reasonable too. We know who to call next time!

We had a great experience working with Mohammed and his team. Mohammed was extremely responsive, and quick to schedule and complete our job (stripping old peeling paint off the rear facade of our house, fixing our gutter, and repainting the back with thorocoat). The job was done within a week, including some off days caused by rain). We're very happy with the result.

Mohammad and Progressive Contracting did incredible, detailed work on my brownstone at an excellent price with lightning speed. Most amazing was that they came back to do some needed followup *after* they had been fully paid. This may well be a first in contractor history! This sort of integrity makes all the difference.

Progressive was hired to patch and paint the rear facade and windows and repair the lintels and sills. The patching job was very sloppy leaving clumps everywhere, the window painting was sloppy and many areas were forgotten. They did no fill in area around window with concrete as discussed. They did not protect and repaint the neighbors lider pipe after randomly hitting it with our paint, The sills had cracks in it. The caulking was sloppy and uneven, When all this was brought up they just acted like they didn't understand.

Mohammad and his team do excellent work. I contacted him because the back wall of my brownstone was chipped and water had started seeping into our walls and window frames. He came within 24 hours of me calling him, and started work within 5 days (allowing for some rain to pass). In the process of doing the work he discovered some damage on the edge of my roof and gutter that was also contributing to the problem, at which point he flagged me and showed me very carefully where all the damage was and what would be needed to fix it. This ended up costing more money, but both price quotes I was given seemed very reasonable, and Mohammad was very careful to explain everything.

His workers came promptly every day until the work was done, and I was pleasantly surprised when they had wrapped up the entire job in about 5 days.

I strongly recommend Mohammad and Progressive Contracting, and look forward to working with him again when it's time to re-face my brownstone steps in a couple more years.

Mohammad and his crew did a phenomenal job on the restoration of my brownstone facade, stoop, and cornice. From start to finish he was extremely responsive and catered to everything we have asked of him. It was not an easy task dealing with myself or my GC but he rose to the challenge and executed every step of the way.

He made sure to show up every morning with his crew and on the days he was not there he made sure to check the work at the end of the day and was EXTREMELY responsive no matter what time I called him to discuss the job. They were also very courteous to all neighbors on the block and tried to keep things as clean as possible. I highly recommend him and his team.

We have used the CS Scott crew for two air bnb investments now, both in Brooklyn - they are professional, detail focused and always accommodating. Highly recommend them!

CS Scott did balconies waterproofing in our building in Brooklyn with 2 year warranty. In one year we've noticed several balconies have leaking issues. After SC Scott owner Matthew was notified about these issues multiple times, he refused to come check his work saying he is not currently in the city and this is not in his scope of work. He stopped picking up the phone or respond emails. Extremely unprofessional and low culture contractor who is looking for easy money and targeting unprotected home owners. Avoid him at all cost. He is only nice until he gets paid. Thanks

Chris and Matthew do great work. About 5 years ago, we asked them to go a gut renovation of the bathroom and we were so pleased that we recently asked them to do a full renovation of the kitchen. We couldn’t be happier and the kitchen is the envy of most in our building. It’s not just amazing work but also the professionalism and trust as we were traveling for much of the project. They have our highest recommendation.

CSScott did a wonderful job renovating a high-end bathroom with steam shower, along with some other odds and ends like installing new flooring. They provided open lines of communication throughout the project which included analytic approaches to solutions for challenging field conditions. All of the work was of the highest quality. Their on-site team was very friendly, considerate and VERY careful with the surroundings. The sub-contractors were also friendly, engaging and very professional in their work. The entire experience was positive. Everyone was kind, diligent and accommodating throughout. Most importantly their work looks amazing!
