Such a pleasure doing business with Nick and his crew! They sourced and installed turf in our Brooklyn backyard. From my first inquiry he was easy and nice to communicate with, clear and quick with the estimate, and went out of his way to accommodate our schedule. The work they did was exactly as I’d hoped, exactly as he described, same quality of work as pictured on his website. I interviewed a few other turfing companies, and I’m really glad we went with Onafastpace. We’ll definitely hire them again when the opportunity arises, and I can highly recommend this company!

We did our backyard with Nick in summer 2025. Nick is wonderful to work - professional, goes above and beyond and his entire team is respectful of the property. I interviewed 7 contractors for the job and his quote was middle of the road interms of prices but the service and attention to detail is top tier. We are so happy.

We went with Adkins to install a dry well and drain, and level a portion of our yard to divert rainwater from an area prone to flooding. At the end of the project, they left a mess of excess soil and debris in our garden bed (included before / after photos). While they addressed the flooding, I didn't realize we would be left dealing with excess soil removal and re-mulching our garden bed, which they used to dispose of the ground soil from the hole they dug. Overall, very poor communication with Savangh - who should take care to ask questions and ensure the work doesn't result in another mess to clean up, even if it means adding an additional disposal fee to the overall estimate. Also, Adkins (Savangh) is the first business that ever hung up on me instead of resolving the issue like a professional. Now, I just noticed that when I paid the balance on the invoice (less than 24 hours after the completed job), they tacked on a $35 late fee in violation of the contract that states a late charge will apply 7 days after non-payment. Don't expect professionalism or a customer-oriented approach with Adkins.

*In response to the owner - respectfully, Savangh, if you want to make this right, you would come clean up this mess asap instead of trying to sanitize my review. You hung up on me, and even scolded me for calling you on a Saturday. If you genuinely want to make this right, please save me 1-2 days of labor removing the excess soil and figuring out how to get the pavers back to the original color.*

*11/21/25 response: I had to hire another contractor (they were exceptional) to undo and redo the work Adkins did. We discovered that Adkins filled the tank with gravel (see photos). The improper installation turned the area he "fixed" into a small pool every time you used a hose, and would take several days to evaporate rather than properly drain. I consulted a lawyer, and I could've taken Adkins to Small Claims court with documentation from my contractor. However, I decided it wasn't worth my time and energy. At least I found a solid, reliable professional to undo the damage and address the original concern. My backyard has weathered every storm since. Don't trust amateurs who masquerade as professionals. Save yourself time, money and grief. Avoid Adkins.

Christina Brown Gardens did a fantastic job on my backyard project. From the initial consultation to the final touches, everything was smooth and well-managed. They listened to my ideas but also gave practical suggestions that improved the overall design. The garden now looks fresh, clean, and much more inviting. Definitely a reliable and skilled service.

Christina is amazing! She is talented, hard working and so much fun to work with. She worked with us to create a lovely container garden in our backyard. In these early days of spring it already looks great. Highly recommend!

Christina took our rooftop patio from 0 to 100, filling it with attractive, easy-to-care-for plants that aligned with our various preferences. Everything she has recommended and planted—from a young tree, to evergreen shrubs, to annual flowering vines—has thrived. Along the way, she has also taught me (a gardening novice) a lot about how to select plants and care for our garden.

Christina is highly resourceful, adaptable to changing needs, thoughtful in her recommendations and advice. She knew what plants would do well on a rooftop and when they tend to flower, so all spring and summer long, we have an evolving flowering oasis. In the fall and winter, we have evergreens and grasses to maintain visual interest. If that isn’t enough, she is also a delight to work with, with an infectiously positive can-do attitude. She and her crew have always been on time and worked efficiently while here. She even sends me a reminder to shut off our irrigation system for when winter when the weather no longer calls for it.

I recommend her without reservation. Her services are worth every single penny.

I am thrilled by the garden that Christina designed for us. She planted flowers that bloom at different times so the garden changes from white to orange and purple and are native to the area. Because we have kids, she put in plants that attract butterflies and suggested planters with strawberries and blueberries my daughters can pick themselves. She was a joy to have around while she was working and finished the work on schedule. She installed a sprinkler system and at the end of the season called me to make sure I was comfortable with winterizing it. I love my yard.

Christina and her team did a project to replace some Arborvitae in our garden. The experience was excellent, her team was great, and the new plants look great!

Christina has taken care of my patio garden for the past 4 years. She is extraordinarily talented and creative and people are blown away with how the space looks after she visits. I can not recommend Christina highly enough- her prices are fair and her work is incredible. Don’t even think twice before giving her a call- she will make your space look more beautiful than you can imagine.

Christina designed and planted a garden at our home in Brooklyn that we enjoy looking at and being in, and that requires minimal maintenance on our part - just the way we wanted it.
