Annette and Laura from NorthBrooclean always do such a great job with my apartment. They’re efficient, professional, and always do more than expected which is a nice treat. I would highly recommend them!

Annette and her team were hired by a production company to clean my apartment after it had been used in a film shoot. About 20 people had been working there for a two weeks, and it really showed. The floors were in rough shape, and everything was a bit grimy. Annette and her team left the place in great condition, and I was really impressed with their speed in cleaning up such a dirty space.

I was recommended Annette by a friend when our apartment desperately needed a deep clean after two of our roommates cats moved out. She visited for an initial quote and followed up with a detailed estimate that clearly outlined the services. Her communication throughout was professional, prompt, and thoughtful.

Annette and her teammate took their time and cleaned the entire space with utmost care. They even deep cleaned the dishwasher filter, which we really appreciated. The results were amazing as the apartment was left sparkling clean. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for thorough, reliable, and professional cleaning services.

We were gifted a cleaning session when our son was born. We were so impressed with the job we’ve been regulars for over a year now. Everyone involved is so friendly!

I wanted to gift their services to a friend who was expecting. Unfortunately, this company services every borough in NYC, with the exception of the Bronx. Perhaps there is a logical explanation, however, it seems rather ridiculous and non inclusive.

Hard to get a live person to speak with. When I checked their site to price a job and purchased a Groupon to complete the cleaning, the price completely changed. I definitely felt baited.

I was thrilled with the cleaning I got. My cleaner, Jorge, went above and beyond in cleaning my 1 bed apartment. He was early, friendly, and did a thorough cleaning job and exceeded my expectations.

I had a horrible experience using Team Clean and reading the other reviews here looks like I am not the first. The cleaner was extremely rude and was "shocked" to see the dirty dishes (isn't that what cleaners are for?). I'd paid for 2 hours and he suggested it'll take 3. I agreed to pay for the extra hour and I thought that'd be the end of it. But he continued to be extremely rude pretending he was doing me a favor. He finally left the task unfinished and didn't even complete the tasks promised on the original email. I offered (in desperation) to pay for someone to come back and complete the pending tasks but no response. Similar to the other customer below, the owners blamed me for the "situation". I am shocked by their behavior and advise anyone reading this to NEVER do business with them. There are plenty of better options.

Beware of this company. I paid for a 3-hour cleaning of a small studio apartment. It was a move out cleaning so there was no furniture or any belongings in the apartment and all I asked them to do was simply wipe down appliances, cabinets, and other surfaces. They left my kitchen sink, cabinets, fridge, toilet, and floor dirty. I had the moving-out walkthrough with my apartment immediately after the cleaning so I didn’t have time to ask the cleaner to fix everything he had left dirty. I made the mistake of leaving the tip at the beginning and leaving for an errand. Even my apartment staff were shocked at what a bad job the cleaner did. I reached out to customer service and they refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing and said there was nothing they could do. Money down the drain.

Scheduling was straightforward via email, and overall, customer service was satisfactory.

When the cleaner arrived, he spent 40 minutes in the room that required the least attention, which was concerning, especially since it only needed about 10 minutes to wipe down surfaces and maybe an extra 10 for the floors. In my experience, cleaners typically start with the bathroom, as it usually demands more effort, but I didn’t want to interrupt his process, so I didn’t say anything. After finishing the first room, he moved on to the rest of the apartment, and the cleaning there was decent. However, just as he was wrapping up, he mentioned, "We're running out of time." When he left, I discovered that the first room, where he’d spent so much time....was completely untouched. This was particularly disappointing, as that room was meant for my friend, who was visiting. I ended up cleaning it myself to make sure it was ready. Given the discounted price I paid through Groupon, I wasn’t overly upset, but I won’t be using this service again, as there are better options available. Additionally, it wasn’t a major issue, but the cleaner was an hour late, which was inconvenient for my schedule and required some adjustments. That said, I understand that public transportation can be unpredictable.

I am sort of shocked by the negative reviews. Admittedly, I had a bad first experience with the cleaner they sent, but they immediately responded and sent another cleaner to redo everything. I have since had two other cleaners (Bailey and Liz) come to my current and previous apartments and they were both phenomenal- meticulous and friendly. In fact, to try to save a little money, I just used another company and it was awful. Now, I need to get Team Clean back in to do a proper clean. Worth the money!

To quote my building’s move out inspector: “Your cleaner did not do a good job.” Two of us who were there also agreed. Team Clean NYC’s lackluster work included basically the entire kitchen remaining dirty, the floors having debris, and the cleaner breaking a panel off of the cabinets. While that stuff itself is disappointing, the real cherry on top is the company not interested in doing anything but defending the work.

EDIT DUE TO RESPONSE:

1. We came back at the time that he told us, if he wasn't done then, that is not on us, and we were glad to wait however long needed. It simply wasn't communicated. For example, if he didn't want us there while he was cleaning, he could have given us a time to come back when he was done, finished on time, or simply asked for more time before we came back. We're sorry if stopping by, tipping him, and saying good work caused an uncomfortable environment.

2. We could have explicitly mentioned the panel in the email. Notably though, is it clearly not a cabinet and we managed to not break it for years. He did. I’m not sure how his brute force is our fault? The way he balanced it back on was very dangerous and we’re lucky to have witnessed it being ripped off.

3. "Set up to fail" is an odd way of defending this kind of cleaning work. At the end of the day, your company left the apartment in that state and the photos show the work that the company somehow is proud of.

Team clean cleaned my Brooklyn pad out when I needed to get rid of a bunch of cat dander for an allergic guest. They rocked and everything smelled so good.😊 also super nice cleaners. Loved this service.

Spilled an entire cup of coffee on my white couch and these guys picked up on a Saturday (they’re closed Saturdays) came out the next day, and completely erased the stain. Highly recommend.
