Truly amazing small company.
Stephen was wonderful accommodating my needs
and the cleaners were very friendly. they got all the surfaces while moving like i have never seen before. very efficient and they do not waste time.

Cleaners are always extremely punctual and polite. When regular cleaner is not available last-minute, I am informed that a replacement will be sent, so there is no disruption. Transactions are very smooth.

I had Rosa for a deep clean and my apartment was immaculate when she left, better than I’ve ever seen it. For the amount of time, it was also a good value. I would highly recommend.

They’re always very responsive to requests and have addressed any questions right away. The cleaners always do a great job and are very friendly and professional. Everything is always spotless when they are finished, which isn’t always the case with cleaners but their teams are great. I also had them do a move-in clean when I moved and the place felt great when I got in.

I love Mr. Maid. I exclusively use them for my 1 bedroom apartment in Williamsburg and they're always professional, kind, and efficient. I have a super busy schedule so knowing they'll do a great job while being on time (important since I have Zoom calls to schedule around), is great for me.

I had booked a general cleaning package + a moving in package for 250$. There was a 1 hour delay from the time we had arranged. The ended up coming during the night with no light. They also told me that all the kitchen cupboards, oven and fridge were extra so I ended up waiting for them for an hour and paying the insane amount of 342$!! I had no choice of cancelling because I had to stay there for the night and they took advantage of it. The two employees were great but the manager they followed orders from didn’t have the slightest desire to understand or help.

A little disappointed with the service we received this time from MrMaid. We did a quick walkthrough before they left and overall it looked ok. When we we went back to look at the bathrooms, it was obvious the wall tiles weren’t cleaned at all, no one swept or mopped the floors. It was also obvious they didn’t move things out of the way in order to clean under them. They didn’t even clean the windows. There was a splatter of watercolor paint on the wall that had they really paid attention, could have gotten off. We had a good experience with them before but this time was terrible.

TLDR: Excellent service, will be hiring again! Thank you Carlos & Stephen.

Long version: On a Friday afternoon, I decided last-minute to hire a home cleaner to come the next day (Saturday). I sent out a few quote requests for my 1 bedroom/1 bathroom Brooklyn apartment - regular clean (not deep clean), and Mr Maid NY was one of the accounts that got back to my ASAP. Stephen helped answer all my questions online (I have two cats and wanted to make sure that would be OK) and let me know there was next day availability. I booked through their website late that night and on Saturday morning, Stephen got in touch with me via text to let me know that the time slot I had picked was not available but that there was a cleaner available later in the day.

My cleaner, Carlos, called me before my scheduled time (4 pm) to ask if it would be OK for him to arrive early at 3:30 pm - which worked great for me! Carlos was extremely professional and had a kind, pleasant demeanor. As a non-binary person, I can feel uncomfortable to be alone in my home with a man I don't know - but I was completely at ease with Carlos. He was very thorough and everything looked great afterwards, particularly my hard wood floors.

Mr Maid NY is a great service, and the price cannot be beat. It was also great to be able to pay via Venmo at end of service (instead of during booking), and to be able to tip my cleaner Carlos directly as well.

I have just had a devastating experience with Mister Maid, a service that in the past provided excellent cleaning. I asked for a deep cleaning for which I paid $305.00. Unfortunately I got a superficial once-over. The cleaner who arrived did almost nothing, leaving the apartment in poor condition. He did not wash the floors; he swept and may have vacuumed, but there was no effort extended to really clean the apartment. There are residues of dirt everywhere; the floors are still dirty. The kitchen is dirty; the bathroom is dirty. Unfortunately I did not check when he finished, as I was in a hurry, but I was shocked to find afterwards that the apartment in poor shape . When I called Stephen, the owner who has always been very pleasant and cooperative, he was startled and defensive, but he did say he would talk to the cleaner and see if he would return to complete the job. I never heard back from him. This was really unfair; $305 is an inordinate amount to pay for almost nothing.

Needed some last minute deep cleaning for our new apartment before moving in all the furniture — Rosa came through on short notice and did an amazing job! Thanks so much for the thorough and sparkling clean ✨

Right when the cleaner was about to leave, I quickly looked at everything and it seemed fine so I said it was okay. Though initially it looked like the cleaner was through, after further inspection, I noticed that the floors still had dust bunnies, though I paid extra to have the microwave cleaned it wasn't, neither was the shower or kitchen sink, there was actually a pile of unidentifiable "gunk" next to the toilet, and the rug had not been vacuumed. The main places you see often (counter tops, toilet, bathroom sink, etc.) were cleaned, but it was not as through as I expected and things I assumed would get cleaned (like shower, microwave, rug) were not.

I'm okay with the clean, and would be interested in using them again because they were extremely responsive, polite, punctuate and all over I was impressed with the level of professionalism, but would want a better explanation of what is included in my clean and may need to be more directive instead of just trusting the cleaner to do their job.

I'm 100% satisfied with every aspect of my experience with Mr Maid NY -- the easy online form, the online information about exactly what would be done, the phone conversations, the confirmation notices, and the on-time arrival. The best part was the cleaning itself. The woman who did it, ROSA, was friendly, professional, and very thorough. Everything sparkles and the apartment smells great. I would definitely use Mr Maid NY again and I will specifically request Rosa.

The booking was almost effortless. It was quick and easy to book online. With my busy work schedule, Mr Maid made it accommodating to fit my scheduling needs. The workers were professional and understanding. They knew exactly how I liked my apt cleaned. Great pricing, great attitude and exceptional service.

I’ve been using Mr Maid for almost two years, they have always been pleasant to do business with, punctual, they always have you do a walkthrough to ensure the team got everything. Overall really happy with the service.

I don’t generally write reviews but my experience with the cleaners was amazing. Emily and Michael were especially thorough and professional! I wanted to get the home tidy before the holidays, and they managed to do an awesome job. As I did a final walkthrough at the end, the cleaners were all very friendly and genuine - exactly the type of stuff that makes you want to book again. I had a few other cleaners that I’ve used in the area and none came close. Highly recommend.

Rosa did an excellent job in my apartment. It’s been a week since I used the deep cleaning service and my apartment still feels absolutely clean. I appreciate the transparent pricing and the fact that cleaners come with everything so you can tell the cleaner what you need done and let them do their job.

The best cleaning company

Just amazing all around. From the time I walked in to do Escape from the tramping one night and then doing Trapped in a room with a zombie the next day Raleigh room escapes was just incredible. The staff, the acting, the hint systems and the puzzles were all well thought out, cohesive, and fun. Unfortunately our group did not escape the tramping ground but we did Escape trapped in a room with a zombie. I wish I could give this place 6 Stars and I definitely will travel back another 2 hours to complete their third room and hopefully the other ones that come up soon. kudos to you Raleigh room escapes with all of the run-of-the-mill Escape rooms popping up because of popularity you guys truly have something original and worthwhile :-)

This place is so fun!! Me and my Friends did Quarantine and even though we didn't make it out we all had a blast!! The actor in our room Ryan was great and really helpful. And the woman who opened the door for us, Tara I think it was, was helpful and friendly as well! Everyone involved was so welcoming and upbeat and we definitely intend to return once again.

Came to Raleigh Room Escape for the first time! Arin, mad scientist Kenny, & our zombie Hayden were awesome!!! We made it out with 45 seconds to spare in the Zombie room! Would recommend to anyone looking for something fun!! Will be definitely returning to try out the other two rooms!

We escaped the Tramping Ground! This experience was one of the best escape rooms I have done (and I've done a few). They make you prove you're moving toward solving the puzzles/riddles rather than sitting in the room expecting the game master to walk you through it. Arin was excellent and made the game seem more collaborative - very much in line with the theme of this particular room. Highly recommend - will be back.
