We did the "trapped with a zombie" room as a work function. Eleven participated. It was my first experience in an escape room, and it was stellar. The actors (Bill & Abbey, I think) were absolutely convincing. Bill was particularly entertaining! The room was difficult and exciting with a zombie just a few feet away snarling and pulling on her chains. I was very pleased with our experience and enjoyed it from the start. As you enter into the building, the actors greet you in character and they never get out of character. It's a hoot! I was also very impressed that after we finished our time in the escape room, our host and mediator gave every single one of us feedback on what we did well in the room and how we were integral to helping our team. I would recommend it for a work function or a fun time with friends!

We had a group of 6 for the zombie room and it was a ton of fun! The puzzles were a good difficulty. The actors Eric & Jill were fantastic and really immersed us in the experience. We'll definitely be back to try the other rooms.

My husband and I have been twice already and have enjoyed Quarantine and Trapped in a room with a zombie. Tara, Ryan and Abigail, the actors or guides of the rooms made these escape rooms a very unique and especially enjoyable experience compared to traditional escape rooms. Hints are provided personally by the actors in a fully enveloped experience which I feel is as close to reality as anyone would like to get and still be fun and exciting. The puzzles are at mid-level difficulty if clues are shared and the team works well together. I would definitely recommend this entertainment to anyone looking for an intriguing experience as we thoroughly enjoyed​ ourselves and plan to return for The tramping ground. Thanks again to all cast members and staff for an excellent experience!!

Raleigh Room escapes was a ton of fun! The rooms were really creep and fit the mood perfectly. Bill did a great job as our host and prepared us for the puzzle room! Abby our zombie was fantastic. She gave her very best performance and made the puzzle solving all the more fun. I recommend Raleigh Room Escapes to everyone!!!

We did a 15 year old birthday party in the Zombie Room. This was our first escape room with a live actor adding to the fun. All the kids and adults had a great time. Bill and Sarah set up a fun environment, and made it scary yet achievable for the kids. The room puzzles were not that hard, but the presence of the undead was a big distraction for folks which made the overall experience very challenging. I would suggest this room for experienced folks who have a decent fright tolerance. If you fit that criteria, you will have a great time.

I went to the escape room for a friends birthday party and we did the zombie escape room. I must say I have never been to an escape room before but it was amazing!!! The actors never broke character and they really made you think!!! Our zombie was Jill and she was really sweet!! And our professor was Bob and he was very helpful! One of my favourite parts was at the end he gave us a short analysis of what kind of team players we were. Like I said it was amazing, thank you Raleigh Rooms Escape!

We had a really surprisingly awesome time. Tara was super friendly and the extra crazy energy Jill put into the experience really made us more frantic and excited. Definitely recommend Raleigh Room Escapes to everyone looking for a different type of escape room experience.

Had a wonderful experience here! The actors Bill and Teal were excellent and gave us a memorable trip. We did a zombie room, which had puzzles that were challenging under pressure but still feasible. A lot of fun for a party of people, would definitely go again.

This was an amazing experience for my family of 8! What separates this escape room from the others around Raleigh (all fun!) is that the rooms have actors and psychologists who observe you and answer all questions. My advice is take advantage of them! In retrospect I would say we all agreed we didn't interact with them enough. Alas, we succumbed to the Zombies! But what a great experience! Also, our guy was pretty spot on with identifying each of our strengths and personalities. I will definitely be going back!

I've done quite a few escape rooms in different cities and Raleigh Room Escapes is the best. There's a good variety of puzzles (it's not a place were you endlessly open boxes), the rooms/props are really high quality and clever, and the live game masters are fantastic. You can tell they're passionate about their jobs and it really ties the whole experience together. We had Jill and Peter in Trapped in a Room with a Zombie and it was just so much fun! Can't wait to book another session!

I organized a Raleigh Room Escapes outing for a group of 7 friends and we absolutely loved it! We went for the Escape the Tramping Ground session and even though we didn't escape, we were really really close, and had a lot of fun. Our actor was great too, very enthusiastic and energetic. I would definitely recommend for a group event or team building occasion.

Our work group went for team building and fun. What an experience! It was exciting, nerve wracking, stimulating, challenging, frustrating and all around good fun! Tara started us off right with her enthusiasm at the door, then Jill and Teal really got into their parts and made our Zombie room a blast. You could tell Jill really wanted us to make it out! Will definitely recommend to others.

This was a really unique escape room experience - very interactive with teammates and the staff. The puzzles stretched us mentally and the stories behind each room were very well crafted. The staff that served us that particular day were incredible. Thanks Teal for facilitating everything and thanks Jill for helping us out and giving us superlatives! Your energy was absolutely contagious!

I was wondering how this place got such great reviews. It is at least partially due to Jill (in the photo) and Jess (zombie - not pictured)! They did an amazing job when we were here for date night!! You guys should for sure check this place out!

This was the first time for me to try an escape room. We ended doing the zombie room. They had to actors in that room. Jess & Jill did an amazing job!!!!! They both were very good and you could tell they liked what they do. They each played there role perfect. The only suggestion that I will give, is from the start of the game, we didn't understand how the puzzles work or where to start at. Maybe this could be a little more clearer for future. I understand that is the point of this room, but once we started to solve a couple of puzzles, we were heading in the right direction, but just ran out of time. The zombie was very interesting and interacting with everyone. The sound effects were fantastic!! Keep up the great work!

We did the Zombie escape room and it was so much fun! We were about 10 seconds away from escaping (kinda bummed about that) but the experience was extremely thrilling. Highly recommended. Jay was a great host and Jill did an amazing job as the Zombie. We'll definitely be back!

We participated in the Trapped in a Room with a Zombie and it was really well done. This was my second room escape but my first room escape that had a full immersion experience with actresses and a consistent plot. Teal did a fantastic job at playing the zombie, so much so that I was still nervous hanging around her after the show was over. Jill was very entertaining and had our whole group laughing on several occasions. We will definitely be back!

We did the Zombie escape room with a project team from work in March and it was amazing. We had so much fun and almost escaped... Jill was great as the doctor and the zombie was also amazing (and really really discturbing, she looked and sounded so scary). The fun version of the personality analysis was a great ending to the show.

Several of the team members had cancelled just before the event and since there is a no refund policy we were just going to lose the unused tickets, but Dee did an amazing job and arranged for us to be able to reschedule to another date, so yesterday we did the Quarantine room with a slightly different team and escaped with over 4 min to spare! Once again, Jill was in the room with us and once again she did an amazing job. Very fun and very much appreciated by the clients we brought this time. Great for team building!

Great experience! This was my second visit to RRE for a work team building event. They accomodated our group of 8 and our group of 20 flawlessly. The staff is friendly and the time flies by! I especially like the analysis they provide at the end of the experience. You can tell this team really enjoys what they do.

Talk about a unique experience! We love Escape Rooms, so we thought we'd try out this local one, knowing there were actors involved somehow, but that was it. It was way more intense than we expected, in a good way! Everyone we interacted with at Raleigh Room Escapes was fantastic. We did Trapped in a Room with a Zombie. Tara was our Russian doctor "tour guide" of sorts who took us through the story, the rules, and some tips, and then she stayed in the room with us to observe. She was absolutely hilarious! Jill was our zombie, and good lord did she sell it... Super creepy, impressively flexible, and stayed in character fabulously well. Definitely not the room for you if you can't function in a high stress environment because you are trying to solve puzzles to escape while also trying not to be eaten by the live zombie who is getting ever closer to you! But if you can handle the pressure, strategize with your team, and communicate well, it's an awesome room! We loved the final personal touch, which was each participant getting a superlative from Tara based on how we acted during the escape attempt. Super fun.

We will definitely be back to experience more rooms at this awesome company, especially since there will be all new ones in January!

We had an amazing time escaping from the stronghold this evening! The puzzles were tough and really made us think critically as we worked our hardest to escape the grasp of the evil AI ANGI. Thank you Sarah for putting on a show for us and giving us feedback after our escape!
