HVAC reviews in Brooklyn, New York
-
Contacted several firms for HVAC repair quotes, but this one was the most impressive and I booked them instantly. The team was expert, efficient, and delivered a quality service. Overall, I'm pleased with my decision to hire them.
-
This company has the best customer service I've seen - they were friendly, fair, and professional from start to finish. The repair was done at a reasonable cost with no hassle, making for a great overall experience.
-
They went above and beyond with excellent customer service - always polite and efficient. The repair was done to a high standard, they took the time to explain what was being done and left everything tidy. Overall, I'm very pleased with their work and would happily recommend them again.

I hired this company to fix my tenants' boiler, which wasn't circulating hot water. Two young technicians arrived and turned every switch and lever on and off near the boiler before draining it, causing water to gush out of the expansion tank for no apparent reason. They presented two possible problems and diagnosed a part that needed to be replaced and some pipes cut, all for over $2000. I was unimpressed, so I called another company, which sent a technician who simply turned off the vent damper and explained it wasn't necessary for my boiler. The problem is fixed now, but without any parts needing replacement or pipe cutting - a much simpler fix. Avoid this scamming business at all costs.
-
A reliable, long-standing company.
-
Terrible experience with unprofessional staff.
-
One of the most unpleasant customer experiences I've had the misfortune to encounter.
-
Excellent work from a trusted partner we've relied on for years. Highly rated and fully endorse their services.
-
I've consistently had excellent experience with this home services provider - their techs are reliable, trustworthy, and professional, making them a standout in the industry.
-
This company is a disaster. They overcharge and consistently show up late. The service department has an appalling attitude, with one employee being particularly rude and using profanity to berate customers who ask questions. This was the worst experience of my life.

Hands down the best heating company in NYC, top-notch staff, can't go wrong with this one.
-
NY Heating has been my go-to partner for all my property's heating requirements since starting my management business over five years ago. Despite our growing portfolio, they've consistently delivered exceptional service to most of our buildings. Recently, I had two demanding situations that tested their limits - but they didn't bat an eyelid. They adapted to our tight schedule and still completed the jobs with their usual professionalism. I wholeheartedly endorse them for anyone seeking a reliable heating vendor - they truly are the best.
-
Brought them in for a Local Law 152 inspection, but they shortchanged us by cutting off our gas supply and then overcharged to fix it. They pushed unnecessary external boilers, significantly inflating the price. We found another company that was more reasonable and won't hesitate to use this firm again.
-
The owner of New York Heating comes across as completely unprofessional and disrespectful, setting the tone for a hostile and dismissive experience. The company's lack of respect for basic professionalism is appalling.
Their pricing is outlandish, with zero transparency or accountability. There's no effort to justify costs or address concerns in a reasonable manner. It's clear they expect others to follow their rules while ignoring the same standards themselves. Don't bother hiring them - you've been warned. -
I don't normally leave reviews, but this experience was so poor it compelled me to warn others. I called them for routine maintenance since my heating system wasn't working properly. They arrived two hours late with no warning or apology.
The technician didn't even bother examining the unit; he spent most of his time on the phone instead. He then told me that a complete replacement was necessary without explaining why. The quote was outrageous and felt like an attempt to scare me into paying.
When I asked questions, I was dismissed and talked down to. To make matters worse, after they left, my heat stopped working altogether, which hadn't happened before their visit. Another company fixed the issue in under an hour and confirmed that a replacement wasn't even needed.
This experience was unprofessional, overpriced, and unreliable. Save yourself the hassle and look for someone else – any other company will be better. -
Hands down the best experience ever!
-
Always on the job.
-
Top-notch AC installation.
-
Glen and his team were a pleasure to deal with - knowledgeable and seasoned pros. Highly recommend their services.

The technician arrived on time and was cooperative. However, there were some issues with the cleaning service. When they returned the units after spending around $800, it became apparent that they weren't functioning as expected. Despite running them for several hours, it proved difficult to cool the apartment below 77 degrees. The technician later advised against repairing the units again due to their age.
When the units were re-delivered, it was clear that while they seemed to be working, there were still significant issues. They made excessive noise and even at maximum capacity, produced very little cold air. To make matters worse, one of the louvers was damaged. It would have been helpful to know this beforehand before paying $800.
The company's offer to put the original cost towards new units, valued around another $2,000, was declined out of respect for their proposal. -
I'd strongly advise against using their services. They botched our initial appointment, rescheduled but failed to show up or respond to my calls on the day off. A few days later, an apologetic woman promised a new appointment by end of day, but that never materialized. Given the sweltering heat at the time, I left multiple messages hoping they'd prioritize it; however, three weeks have passed and I've heard nothing since. I usually give businesses the benefit of doubt before writing a review, but this one's a complete joke.
