My chimney was literally falling apart. I called 4 companies to give me estimates. I had sent 2 pictures to show them what condition my chimney was in. 2 of them gave me very high quotes without physically going down. The other 2 came down but only 1 of them climbed onto the roof. Brian from All About Chimneys was that guy. Not only did he put together a proforma for the job but he was the most professional in his work. Whenever I called him he responded immediately as well as any questions that I had he answered without me feeling that I was given a run around. He showed up on time and completed the job in 1 day. What a pleasure! I am often uneasy about repairs and tradesman in our historic home - especially during COVID. Brian and Peter could not have been more professional and attentive to our needs. Very impressed by the courtesy and professionalism of these guys. Bryan took a look at our chimney, said it didn’t need to be cleaned, and gave me some tips on using it. I don’t know anything about chimneys so he could have easily gone ahead with the sweep and charged me $$$ for it. Very impressed by his honesty. In the future, when my chimney does need cleaning, these are the guys I will call.

Our boiler stopped working and had to get chimney inspected for possible blockage. Bryan gave a competitive estimate for cleanout and made effort to visit next day despite his busy schedule. Upon inspection, it was determined the chimney was clean as was evident in video he provided. Bryan was professional and honest without pushing for unnecessary service, saving us money.Would recommend and call them for future chimney needs.

Bryan and his team did a great job restoring my heat on one of the coldest nights

Bryan and Pete are legends! After a carbon monoxide reading on the top floor they came in and diagnosed the problem. Clear with their communication through out. They had a new flue up within 90 minutes. Patient in explaining everything. Went down to the basement to explain exactly how the chimney works and to clear out the bottom of the chimney. They showed me what to look for in future. So much gratitude. Also a lot of integrity around pricing. Highly recommend.

Bryan and his team did great work restoring my fireplace to working order - he did a careful investigation of the whole situation up front, quoted me only what was necessary and explained everything - he had a good plan and did a careful job. Highly recommend.

I was having problems with my boiler and he came to secure the location of any carbon monoxide leak. He fixed the boiler and flue with cement but ensured it was clear before sealing it for any carbon monoxide leak. Use All About Chimneys!

We recently hired Bryan and his colleague to repair and clean our chimney which had not been looked at in quite awhile. Bryan is professional, communicative, thorough, and reasonably priced. We would not hesitate to recommend his company and will certainly use them again in the future.

Bryan and his team did a stellar job rebuilding two of the fireplaces in our historic Brooklyn brownstone and a liner for our furnace. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Their work is of extremely high quality, literally rock solid, and at a fair price. Bryan sent us daily photo updates (we hadn’t moved in yet) of his progress, explaining the technical aspects of what he was doing, next steps and timing. When a difficult neighbor filed a complaint against us (not the team’s fault in any way) he assured me all the permits and needed insurance were in place, looked up the complaint with the city, prepared for the inspection and sure enough when the inspector came we passed with flying colors. It turns out our neighbor has a long history of filing 311 complaints all over the place :( He was also meticulous with our floors and protecting everything in the house. Ritchie and Anthony were great too. They worked so well with our primary contractor he asked Bryan for his contact info so they could team up on other projects. All About Chimneys is a n exceptional company. I called them for an evaluation as to whether fireplaces in my house were able to be used and Bryan scheduled an appointment with me for the next day, He was prompt and arrived with a colleague. They inspected 3 fireplaces and gave me information as to all of them. His information was clear, and his manner could not have been nicer. There was No Charge for the consultation and he is providing me with a written statement of what he found. Bryan and his company provided a great and professional experience.
