Landlords BEWARE of this snow plow company. Took $450 payment for the season and did not provide services in contract.

I hired Noah and his team at Green’s Landscaping on Jan 19. I paid for the rest of the season and signed a contract. The contract stated they would arrive by 7am after a nighttime snowfall of more than 2 inches.

After the first major snowfall, no one showed up. I was told their trucks had broken down and they would get out as soon as they could. Three days later, two men came with shovels. Instead of clearing the driveway, they pushed snow into large piles on both sides, making it very hard for anyone to get in or out of their cars. They also blocked the dumpsters with those piles. This was not fixed until I asked several times. Two days later, a man returned with a young child and they shoveled again. Neither visit included the sidewalks, which were clearly part of the contract.

About a week later, after the next snowfall, I again had to reach out multiple times before anyone came. That was the third and final time they serviced the property. Not once did they come without repeated messages from me. Not once was the job fully cleared. In fact, the way the snow was piled made things worse once it froze. Not once did they arrive by 7am so my tenants could leave for work, as promised.

I don’t enjoy writing this about a local small business. However, as a landlord, I would not want someone else to go through this. I paid in full for a service that was not delivered as agreed.

I asked for a $150 refund. I was told $100 was fair. That means I paid $350 for two shovel visits and one very brief plow visit, with sidewalks never cleared and service only happening after repeated requests. I hired them to make our life easier with a seamless process and they made it even more difficult. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.

They were affordable and did such a good job they exceeded my expectations. Completed the job efficiently and very courteous.

Worst company to hire for snow plow removal. We hired him last year and paid him in full for the season and he only plowed out lot twice and never showed up any other time. Wouldn't answer phone when you called him to find out where he is and never returned phone calls. Do not hire this company

They clear snow as advertised, but read the fine print. If you get 7” of snow or more, they charge you an additional $55 each time. They won’t give you your money back if you don’t use all prepaid for plows though, which is a ripoff. I would shop around before committing to this company. I’ve had others that don’t charge this extra fee.

I own 4 properties in the City of Buffalo and I have contracted with Yard Barber for the pass 3 years to handle the Snow Plowing of my driveways and the clearing of my sidewalks. I have paid upfront every year by and I have never had them do a no call no show on my properties. They are a very responsive company , I have never had to wait hours to receive a call back. I am able to reach them via email, text or phone. The Office Manager April is very helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this company to any homeowner or landlord who wants a reliable , honest affordable service.

Great company! I live in north buffalo and i called them yesterday morning for a snow plowing quote and received a call back within 15 min . I received a very reasonable quote from Kim the Office Mgr and she said someone would be out later before 3pm. The crew came and did a terrific job of cleaning up driveway , sidewalks , walkway and steps.I made sure i gave the guys a good tip for being punctual and professional for braving the cold blizzard conditions. I highly recommend this company and will continue to use in the future! - Mark Davis
