I purchased plants for my wildflower garden in the spring. They we're healthy fresh. They bloomed and grew wonderfully. At end of season I picked up some left over perennials and they established quickly. I'm excited to see how they do this coming summer. It's a lovely place to just visit. Helpful knowledgeable staff. Can't wait for Spring!

I stopped in to Broccolo Tree and Lawn Care with a snippet of a bush we had that was infested with something unknown to us. Jessica worked diligently to help me to figure out not only what it was, but how to treat it naturally, and before I even got home she called me to let me know she had continued researching it after I left and had an even easier plan to save the bush and get rid of the bugs that had infested it. Within minutes of getting home, they were completely gone. What was awesome is that she didnt make a sale from me or have any need to go above and beyond like she did. We will definitely be using this establishment next year for our tree and landscape needs!

I am a person who very rarely leaves reviews or complains about service, but this was a very frustrating experience from start to finish and I feel compelled to say something in the form of an online review. Work was completed in more than double the time it was estimated, prompting several emails/phone calls from me to inquire, as opposed to a proactive call from Broccolo explaining the delay. When work was finally "completed", it was not to our level of satisfaction and did not fulfill the contract. Work was incomplete and a lot of debris was left behind for us to clean. When I contacted the business afterwards with the hopes of having it resolved to our satisfaction before writing a public review here, the response was a polite acknowledgement of them not completing the work to our satisfaction. Very disappointed, and cannot in good faith recommend Broccolo. Editing review to add that Diane from Broccolo stopped by the house to speak to me after this review was posted, which I appreciated. She also offered a $50.00 refund on the work, which was also appreciated.

Super helpful and friendly staff helped me figure out what plants would work best for my home! They answered all my questions and even helped carry my plants to the car. I appreciate that there was a knowledgeable employee who greeted me as soon as I entered and then walked me right to the plants I should consider. I also appreciate their commitment to native plantings to sustain bee, butterfly, insect, and bird diversity.

I am very disappointed in Broccolo. When I hired them, they were coming in two weeks. How about 3 wks later and I had to call to get them here. My lawn was fertilized and weed treated. No results. I have called and asked to have a tech come out, no response - 4 calls still no response. I am canceling my contract immediately. Disgusted.

Broccolo Lawn has always given me professionalism, treated with courtesy, and anytime I had any issues they were resolved in a timely manner. They are one of the best if NOT the best compared to others.

I hired Broccolo a few years ago, after seeing the beautiful work they were doing at my neighbor's house. It was the BEST decision I have made about caring for my home. My trees, bushes and landscaping now look great. Last year, Broccolo installed some new landscaping after I added a back porch to the house, and it is also beautiful. If you are looking for a professional, earth-friendly company with friendly, professional worker, look no further than Broccolo - you will love their work!

I have been using Broccolo for two years figuring it would take a while to get the lawn looking good. Last year the grub treatment didn’t work and I had bare patches everywhere. This year the crabgrass prevention didn’t work and I have more crabgrass than fescue, especially in the sunny areas. I have to get it all reseeded in hope of a better result next year. Andrew Freeman is a very good representative and I enjoy working with him but the overall results are very disappointing. I have been spending too much time pulling weeds that shouldn’t be there.

My experience with Broccolo has been wonderful. I walk my property and feel such joy as I see my plants waking up for a new season. I know the birds, the butterflies, the bees and the neighbors will all enjoy Broccolo’s efforts with me. The beauty, the health, and the joy are all because of a great company. I have had others, Do my cleanup to open and close season. The last two years using Broccolo Tree & Lawn Care has been a eye opening experience. They not only did better job but they did it so much faster. Makes me wonder if the others were just trying to up hourly rate. I highly recommend Broccolo for all your home and garden needs. Broccolo is the place to go! I always get overwhelmed with picking plants for the garden and the ladies here know their stuff! They take the time to talk me through everything and help me make sure I'm making good decisions without feeling rushed or mansplaining. It's always such a good experience that keeps me coming back again and again.

We've worked with Broccolo several times now over the past few years on everything from lawn drainage, to landscaping and planting, to spring maintenance, to plantings, to building a new stone walkway for us. They are incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and great to work with. And their crews always do such high quality work that looks beautiful for our houseand property. We are pretty new at owning a home and we truly appreciate all of Broccolo's hard work and expert guidance- you guys are wonderful!!

Terrible service! I would not recommend Broccolo to anyone! I had several issues with this company. Several times they said they were coming and they didn't show. I had a technician come out and service my front lawn and not the back. He left his paper saying he treated the whole lawn and a bill for the service. I had to call the company to have him return to treat the rest. Before signing my contract I specifically asked if spot treating weeds in between treatments would be covered and I was told they would be. I called several times and was told they wouldn't come in between and I'd have to wait until my next application. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told the supervisor (Steve) would call me back. He didn't. I called again and spoke with customer service (Missy). She stated she was going to contact the general manager (Terry) and get everything sorted out. He didn't call. Instead the supervisor called me, the one who blew me off the first time. I decided I'd give them a second chance after speaking with him. He said he'd have a senior tech come out the following week to assess and treat my lawn. That conversation was on 8/14/18. Today is 9/11/18 and no one has been out to treat my lawn. My lawn looks terrible!! It's full of weeds and crab grass. I am not a happy customer!

My lawn finally looks the way it should - a year after terminating their services and doing what they should have been doing all along.

I hate to write a negative review but it should be instructive for the community, and for this business, that they need to do better. For ten years I used their services. Weeds were always rampant, and took over. Sometimes, the drought was used as the excuse. Other times, a rainy season was used as the excuse. I stopped the services last summer, bought a bag of good fertilizer and took care of the crabgrass that took over, with a post-emergent broadleaf spray. A year later, even in the midst of the drought we are having (July 2022), my lawn is hands down one of the best on the street: lush, and weed free! And I saved myself over a thousand dollars a year in the process. The facts are in the results. People hire fertilizer companies not to just put down a cookie cutter remedy, going through the motions, but take a few minutes to analyze the problem, and apply a formula to facilitate an improvement applicable to the customer's needs.

Broccolo would reliably invoice like clockwork and make sure you paid them in a timely manner. So they do have the operational capacity to manage the details. I am of course OK with that, but on the other side of the coin, I require you to provide a service that is not laden with excuses, and poor quality time and time again. Provide the same 'Type A' attention to detail in your work, that you do with your billing - that is, not just when it suits you. Everyone, do your homework before choosing a service provider for lawn care/fertilization; in today's economy, we all should demand -- and receive -- better.

I'm sure they are a friendly, and even helpful business. For example, never been to the garden center but I have heard good things. However: much work needs to be done to improve the value, effectiveness, and accountability of the fertilizer service they provide.

Poor follow up customer services. After a $4000 landscaping job the representative said "continue to do what you are doing". No tags for plants were provided. When I called they said they don't have tags for the plants, and I had to request them at the time they were planted. Really?

Very pleased overall with our planting. The team made quick work of a very overgrown bed and added a new bed with beautiful plantings and a maple tree. Will update as time goes on, but I expect their work to look great for a long time! They arrived when they said they would, were friendly and knowledgeable, and left the gardens looking great.

Our experience with Laurie and her crew was wonderful. The people that helped us last summer up until last month with black deer fence have always been polite and professional. I CANNOT wait to see our new plantings and I am very excited about our next phase. I would highly recommend this company

I am totally satisfied with the gardening and landscaping services I used from Broccolo!! The representative I worked with listened carefully to my design ideas, explained how they could be accomplished while giving me advice on what might work better and suggested ideas I never would have thought about. It was a total collaboration and learning experience for me. I was also impressed with the contractors Broccolo used to do the work!! On time hard working and shared great info. I’d recommend Broccolo for sure!!!

For years we have had lawn service. This is the first time I actually was home and watched the young man supposedly performing his job of adding fertilizer and treating weeds. What I joke. I wrote to Broccolo and “crickets”. I heard nothing back. I have cancelled my lawn service after many years with them.

Only book if you're going to supervise everything to ensure the time is used as quoted. The areas that were done look okay. (Real client here and yes I have the right company, Broccolo.)
