The experience was awesome this was because this is a big place with lots of plants like vegetables, and flowers, and has a greenhouse with tropical plants. The people at this place were very nice and friendly. Many people come here during the spring season to buy plants to put in their yards.

    Miserable employees with dishonest pricing.

We didn’t even ask for help and the staff came up to ask us if we needed help reluctantly as if they were doing us a favor.

Stem of flowers went from $6/each to $8/each to $10/each within 10 minutes with the florist shouting across the store at the cashier to charge us $10 per stem.

If the prices were really $10/stem wouldn’t the cashier know and there would be no need for the Florist to tell them what it cost by shouting across the store and having one of them run across and run back and whisper something in the cashiers ears before charging us the RIDICULOUS price.
To make $2-4 extra per stem and lose multiple local customers for life is a horrible and stupid business practice. Great job.

Less crowded. Lot of space or roomies. Easy to visual as pick up the products.

Very nice location, staff are friendly and attentive, it's clean with bathrooms for male and female customers.

This place has everything one would need for all gardening projects as well as houseplants statues flags and other decorations for around the house, they have indoor and outdoor spaces which is nice because when it's hot outside you can go inside and cool off in the air conditioning.

All n all, I like this place and use it for all my outdoor gardening supplies.

The place is generally clean, but the affordability of items is not satisfactory. I brought just a few things, and surprisingly, my lavender, which should be easy to maintain, is not growing well.

Wonderful gardening store and nursery in Bayside. Tons of plants in the nursery in the back to the left. Florist inside the main area.

My mom and I have been to this place and loved it this was because parked the car and then walked into it. Once entering the place, it just seemed like a big place because there were lots of plants to see like pineapple, tulip, and many other plants. Also, that the people can buy the plants and plant them in. Also has lots of things related to plants like soil, and many other things.

I had the best experience at the fresh flower department with ANNA MARIA!!
She's an asset to Garden World!
We're having a Mass said for my late mother tomorrow and
ANNA MARIA hand picked the beautiful flowers and walked me thru how to arrange them!
I'll be back thanks to people like her!!

I gave it 5 stars because my Dad loves it here. He loves his garden but as for customer service, it’s like you are in a different world and not in a mix queens neighborhood.
Not friendly to non whites. That’s all I will say about that. They will answer your question but it is always with a “oh them” glance.
Come on guys….your business is in queens NY. Not sure if the people working there are the owners but it sure looks family owned.
My Dad don’t shop anymore…I do it for him and I am not as tolerant with the stare as he was so I go to else where.

Great selection of fresh flowers and all kinds of bushes, plants, fruit trees, etc. Everyone is helpful and very nice. I have been going here for years, they don't disappoint.

Overall great experience, they had what I was looking for. The woman working the cash register is an older women who is not friendly at all. Makes the experience 4/5.

    Autumn goodies at Garden World!

Not the cheapest place but everything I’ve bought here - in each season of spring, summer and fall - has returned 100-fold in beauty and quality. I find the prices fair. Service is very good, from happy workers.

They have large collections. We got flower plants and it’s comes with one year warranty. It’s my first time there. I like it and will be back however customer service was poor from few employees and some of them were good.

Wide selection of flowers, plants, pumpkins, etc. They also put on a great October festival with a petting zoo, food and games.

This place was amazing it litterally has everything you need. I did not have the same experience as some here eith customer service because I did not ask anyone for questions but I did see a bald elder caucasian man who works there that was soooooo rude to a few people who would ask him questions. The cashiers were extremely nice but that was all for my customer service experience. Overall this place has everthing and when I mean everything you need!

I have been to this local garden shop pretty frequent recently since I bought a new house nearby. I agree with some comments saying there was this one blonde old lady at cashier is pretty rude and impatient. However, other staff members are always helpful and knowledgeable. Also when I visit yesterday, they had a new cashier who was sooooo much nicer………
Since I’m new to the planting, I always ask questions when I purchase in there, and I always get answers. The young lady at the repotting center also didn’t charge me for the potting soil since I bought a pot in the store. Overall I am pretty satisfied with this local garden store, and will definitely revisit again.

I love garden world. Have been going there for over a decade (my mom before me) and they've always served up consistent quality bouquets, house plants, and gardening items. Beautiful!

I bought a small poinsettia from this store, and the flower was absolutely gorgeous and for free I could choose a pretty outer wrapping for the pot and she gave me a protective paper bag for the outside to protect from the cold, their store is beautiful and the only reason I walked in is because I saw how cute the store looked from the outside looking in.

100% recommend. They have decor, garden supplies, plants, and flowers, I bet if you walked in you would find something you like

My family and I went there for the Fall/Halloween festival...it was fun. The decorations, the kiddie kides, the ponies, the animals were absolutely wonderful. Free entrance, but beware they charge an outrageous price for face painting, pumpkin painting, other stuff. The tickets for the rides were $30.00 for 20 tickets which isn't great because half the rides are 3 or more tickets. The bouncy house is limited to 5 minutes. The pony ride is $9.00 for about a 5 minute walk if lucky. We were all going to do the trackless train ride but no adults were permitted which wasn't right...we saw other adults on the train. They do sell snacks, pies, apple cider, candied apples all expensive. They should charge an entrance fee and include everything else in that price. Trust me... nothing is free in that place
