Affordable prices and great customer service.

Had a GREAT experience buying my first indoor plants. Chris was very knowledgeable and helped me find Cat safe options! Highly recommend - prices were better than online or at home depot. Shop local!

Shopped there today. Have enjoyed this nursery in the past for finding some more unique flowers. Went to shop for windchimes for a present. Asked for help and was told” in a few minutes. “ No one ever came to help. They were not even friendly about it. I bought the chimes anyway after answering my own questions using my phone. They may have nice stuff but their customer service is lacking. I will go elsewhere next time.

Very nice nursery, large selection of plants for this time of the year. I went there for annuals and I was able to find things that met my needs. But I thought things were a little expensive.

Trying to get help here requires way too much effort. Came in about 45 minutes after opening on a Friday, not too many customers there yet, and walked around for a solid 20 minutes trying to find someone to help. Asked an older gentleman who was unpacking flowers to put on display and he made a half assed attempt to walk me through some shrubbery options, but was literally just pointing to different directions in the 10+ acre yard where I can find some stuff to check out. Their bread and butter must be commercial clients.

Very nice collection. Things are well labeled and explained (season, water need, when flowering stops). Also reasonable prices.

One of the bigger nurseries opened up to the public in lower Westchester. Called to get more info on their native plant sale and Janet was not the bit friendliest. Obviously I am not expecting mature 5-6 ft plants when I buy them. Attitude makes me want to cross the bridge to other places in Rockland (Red Hill)

Does it get mobbed during certain times of year? Yes. Are some of the seasonal employees less knowledgeable than others? Yes. The prices are competitive but this is not a big box store. It’s the largest nursery open to the public in the area, some of the reviewers are not realistic with their one star reviews. I’ve struggled to get attentive service at large nurseries and small ones. I visit other nurseries locally and in Connecticut and Rosedale has the most comprehensive selection year round. They have a number of very knowledgeable staff, you just have to be patient and learn who to ask

Looking for small plants for terrarium and this place have a variety of small and large plants for both indoor and outdoor. Lots of planting supplies with decent price. Will be going there again soon. Great place for Bonsai lovers! Very helpful with the answer and give advice for planting!

I had a fantastic experience at Rosedale Garden Center, all thanks to Enrique! He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to patiently answer all of my questions. Whether it was about plant care, soil types, or the best options for my space, he had great advice and never made me feel rushed. The store itself is excellent—well-stocked, beautifully organized, and full of healthy plants. Enrique’s expertise and friendly attitude made the whole visit a pleasure. Highly recommend!

Huge selection of beautiful flowers, plants, bushes and trees. Today, July 20, 2024, purchased a beautiful phlox Jeana plant. Was looking for this particular plant after seeing how it attracted many butterflies at a botanical garden.

Huuuge variety of gorgeous plants, all way better quality than we usually see at Home depot and whatnot. We only had a small potted plant purchase for our deck, and the man helping us was still so attentive. Super knowledgeable and I just wish I had a big enough yard to buy some of their trees. Will definitely return.

Frequent customer since 2022. Strengths are the impressive plant collection - shade-loving and sun-tolerant, shrubs, trees and annuals. Best access from the northbound sawmill River Parkway with a private entrance just north of the Hawthorne interchange. Slow down when you see the high tension powerlines and put your right blinker on to exit. there are no road signs. Rosedale maintains a true landscaping department which can undertake planting and garden management projects.
The prices can be high and access to the garden centre can be difficult on weekends at the beginning of planting seasons for instance in May.

Great attention to detail and excellent landscape maintenance. Very responsive and always willing to go the extra mile. They have completed several difficult projects for me and I recommend them for all your outdoor projects.

I highly recommend Carmine and his team for landscaping. Our yard was in desperate need of a good spring cleaning and he delivered! He even designed us new flower beds and I can't wait to see how they come out. He's very friendly and prices are fair. I have already recommended him to some of my family members!

We have used Aliberti for spring and fall cleanups, weekly mowing and edging, mulch, and installing Belgium blocks around a landing. We have been very happy with all of their services (and we are pretty picky about our yard). Carmine is professional but never pushy. Prices are fair for the area.

Jay and his team did a remarkable job reimagining our front and back yards. We have a smallish plot and challenging terrain, but they made our space feel larger, more usable, and of course much more beautiful. They saw the potential that we could not. We regularly get compliments on our garden from people walking by. The garden is designed to morph with the seasons, with something always in bloom. We used mostly/all native plants that pollinators love. We and our young son now enjoy spending time in our garden so much.

During the design process, Jay and Katherine presented a great plan and they were happy to work with us to tweak it as we came up with new ideas and changed our priorities. For the installation, the team worked quickly and efficiently so we did not feel like we were living in a construction site. Everything was well coordinated. I can’t say Jay is cheap, but he is good value - we thought the price was reasonable for the design, quality, and professionalism. Usually working with contractors is a stressful process, but this was practically stress free and that’s priceless.

Jay and his team were able to divert storm water away from our house into dry wells on our property as well as improving the permeability of our soil and optimizing drainage throughout the property.His creative solution to our drainage problems minimized excavation,preserved the natural landscape and allowed for infiltration into the aquifer rather than diverting water into storm drains.The team was very professional,reliable,,and skilled.I could not recommend Jay and his team highly enough
