The phone service representatives are disgusting. CUSTOMERS BEWARE. NOT WORTH the premium they charge. I canceled the account today.

When I told that I would have to speak with Allison Heany, Deborah and Jessica told me that they don't care about the sort of terrible service they provide because they are working there as "family" and therefore implied that it didn't matter what they did, the owner, Allison Heany, couldn't fire them.

These over-the-phone arguments are not the first, and I have dealt with Deborah and Jessica on several occasions. They are stubborn and disgusting people.

When Allison Heany contacted me more then five years ago to sign up with them for Heating Oil she assured me that the higher premium they charge was worth it because of the quality in service and product they provide. I WILL NOT TOLERATE THIS ANYMORE.

Driver blocking road when spot two feet away. Leaves engine running while inside a home fixing a problem was NOT delivering oil. I called company to ask them to contact driver to move truck they said they would. Finally I start riniging bells driver comes out does applogize I told him I called his company to ask him to move he then informs me he leaves his phone in the truck. After being stuck for 20 minutes when I got home I called the company again to tell them their driver leaves his phone in the truck with the engine running. The woman on the phone tells me they are not suppose to keep there phones on them. Why does a company pay for cell phones if workers are not suppose to carry them. I guess the air we breathe should suffer to. This company should be more respectful to the environment and neighbors.

I have never been treated so poorly by a company. The customer service is terrible. I have a dog, they call to let me know when they are coming so I can keep the dog inside, WHICH I DO. My dog barks out the window and the driver pulls away. Then they insist I am a liar and that my dog was outside. I have gotten oil from this company (originally Rayo which merged into Skaggs-Walsh) since the 1950's. A LONG TIME CLIENT and I was never treated so poorly by any company. HORRIBLE company - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - I would never recommend them. Donna was rude on the phone and accused me of lying. I needed an oil delivery as they haven't been here in months. They were supposed to come in July, I was away on vacation when they called and I asked to be moved to the following week. I was told fine and now it's October, I still haven't had an oil delivery . It's time to find a new company. I called PETRO and they were very nice on the phone, will be working with them from now on. After 65 years with the same company - they could care less.

Today my tenant notified me there is no hot water. I called the office and the woman that answered told me what repair was needed per the service guy who was on site. She ask for payment information and said they’d run payment tomorrow. I’m not used to paying for services before received. I asked why couldn’t they perform the work then take payment or why not ask for partial payment, perform work then take final payment. The woman became flustered and I asked for the manager. She told me she was the owner. She accused me of not having the money now and suggested I call back when I could afford the work. So a longtime relationship ends today. They don’t do business the way they used to. I don’t get exploited.

I have been a Skaggs Walsh Customer for 20 years. They are one vendor for my home I can count on. Over the years I have called them for service at 11 p.m., Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve and Thanksgiving Day. They got to my house promptly, fixed my system and left me and my family in comfort. I never have to worry about deliveries. They are competitive on cost. They may not be the cheapest but for all the benefits I get I will never complain. They have also added plumbing. I tried them for a kitchen waste pipe. They were great. Fixed the pipe for far less than another plumber quoted. If they could add electricians to their group, life would be perfect!

this people are thief they are sending me bill and i dont even use there service i use it one time about 3-4 years ago

This is a fantastic oil company. They are always responsive and do quick emergency service if something goes wrong. Their workers are all friendly and so helpful.

Excellent warm kind people. Customer service is always on point, professional and cuorteous. Price is reasonable. Business with a human touch...as a new home owner they addressed all my concerns with professionalism and honesty.

Their heating service is great and I was a happy customer for five years. So thank you for that.

Then I asked them about their heating oil price and why they were charging me $3/gallon when everyone else seemed to have a price of $2/gallon. For many years.

Their answer was -- now that I've discovered the system, I could ask for an agreement and get a lower price. This doesn't seem like customer/business loyalty to me. I have to ask to get a fair price?

Town and Country really delivered on service. I came back to a cold house after vacation and their serviceman came on a Sunday to not only deliver oil, but fix the boiler within the hour. They understood the emergency and acted expeditiously. I appreciate their service and their rapport.

Customer for more than 10 years with previous 5 star reviews until recent failures of service. "Puff Back" recently, hours of delay restoring heat after the puff back. Fire dept promptly responded to puff back after tenants called them, ie. smoke alarms & carbon monoxide alarms.
Few days after xmas, oil tank empty & no response from the service person oncall the entire night.
No explanation or f/u with the customer (me) about why no emergency service occured for services I paid for on the night of 12/27/22. Trying to be patient with a company that gave previous good service but I am disappointed that I am not treated as loyal paying customer.

Great service. We've had no complaints for 6 years. Town and Country is amazing. They helped with estimates and advice when needed and really stand by their word. More companies should put customer service first the way they do.

We've used their services for more years than I can remember. We're always happy, always have heat and hot water, no complaints. When the guys come for service calls they are always very professional and nice, answer questions knowledgeably. I have called for emergency service for both boiler and water heater and they respond immediately. Would recommend to anyone.

This is the best heating oil company in Westchester County, Office staff is always polite and ready to help, every time I call for repairs there service tech is at my door within 3 hours and my boiler is repaired by professional service people that have been with T&C for many years. Their oil is not the cheapest but priced better then most Full Service Oil Companies in Westchester.

They always come through! We have used other local oil co's before (Sclafani, Robison) and they always had an excuse - for being late, for not being able to deliver, etc. T&C has always got the job done, no excuses. They're one of the last independent oil co's too so happy to support a small locally owned biz. Keep up the great work.
