I'm not sure how I had such a different experience than others, but when I called they transferred me to a sketchy company (at first i thought it was Brett & Sons) but later found out was unaffiliated and said their company name was "emergency plumbing". I was asked to pay with Zelle directly to the plumber, they wouldn't take check and then the name for zelle was a totally different company on its own. I couldn't pay the full amount through zelle in 1 day, due to chase restrictions, so told them I'd pay the remainder the next day. I was contacted that next morning about the remainder, and we still had the issue so I asked them to come over and take a look. As the plumber walked in the door, he got a call from I guess the dispatcher and said loudly "I'm here at the place to collect the rest of payment". It was all really weird.

When I called what I thought was Brett and Sons for a receipt, they told me to contact a different number which when I looked it up, wasn't even a plumbing company and something totally different. These were the people I spoke with from the beginning and I still have no idea who they are. I should have gone with my gut instinct from the beginning and looked elsewhere. I'm still incredibly confused, and almost certain we were ripped off. Would love to know how people got Brett & Sons to do their work.
