Great experience here. They have a fully-stocked showroom and the knowledgeable staff to walk you through the daunting experience of picking kitchen and bath fixtures and accessories. They stock a variety of brands and are happy to coordinate with you to get exactly the look and style that you want.

I won't go anywhere else the next time I'm working on my kitchen or bath. These guys are the best around!

I've been shopping here for years and send my clients here as well. Orlando on the sales side is incredible at his job, super knowledgeable, honest and a pleasure to work with all around. I can't speak highly enough about him - if everyone operated in his manner, shopping for home reno supplies would be much more enjoyable. He is stellar.

In addition, when my hot water tank gave out after a number of years, Lou in the service dept was incredibly nice and efficient, getting a new one to my house within three hours of me placing a phone call.

There is no other place I would shop for plumbing supplies other than Consolidated Plumbing.

General Plumbing Supply has a lot of the good-quality plumbing parts to sell. The staffs are very nice and professional to help you and give you some advices. You would find what you want there. 10/10 recommended.

For over.20 years, I have purchased many items for my home at this store. I love that their showroom always has new items on display. Sometimes I just look for new ideas. The staff gives excellent service, very friendly and always helpful. Also, their parts area is right next store. Very convenient for customers and contractors.

Very frustrating having to deal with them
I Ordered kitchen faucet almost a year ago , they don’t follow up and never call back , have to e-mail them several times
I called Kohler and had the faucet delivered in few days

in response to your answer , i know that can happen ( even though i would expect they would actually find a solution ) , but my frustration was referred to your customer service that is very bad , not responsive at all . It was not my only order , i purchased lots of items
had to call several time to be in touch with someone all the time

Beautiful store with so many high quality items in stock and an amazing staff. They are extremely knowledgeable and will help you with everything you need. Charles was exceedingly helpful and it is impressive how proficient and well-informed he is with everything. 100% recommend for all your kitchen and bath needs. Also as I mentioned before, the store is absolutely beautiful. You will most definitely find whatever you need here.

General Plumbing Supplies has provided the worst customer experience I have ever experienced. While our sales rep, Orlando, was attentive and helpful when we made a large purchase of over $8000, the service completely fell apart after payment. Despite paying in full, we were ignored when our bathroom vanity did not arrive on time. I was originally told that my bathroom vanity would arrive in 4 to 6 weeks, but it ended up taking three months. You would expect some level of acknowledgment or effort to address my concerns, given the frustration this delay caused, but there was absolutely none from this sales rep. Orlando never answered my calls or returned messages left with the receptionist. Furthermore, there were times the receptionists seemed unaware of the status of my order and offered no help. To make matters worse, when I called to check on my products, I was treated rudely and told I had an outstanding balance of over $3,000, despite paying in full at the time of purchase. This unnecessary stress, coupled with the unprofessionalism I encountered, makes it clear that I will never step foot in General Plumbing Supplies again. General Plumbing Supplies is not a company to be trusted due to their extreme lack of professionalism and failure to address customer concerns.

Great place! Beautiful supplies. We got many things for our kitchen and bathroom here. The service is wonderful! A special shout out to Kimathi! He was so helpful, patient and supportive. Explained everything in detail. Kudos all around!

Terrible customer service. When you enter the establishment they do not even acknowledge you even if you’re standing right next to them. They looked at us and acted as if we were invisible. Very unprofessional. These businesses owners move into black communities make there prices sky high/overpriced then treat customers like dirt. However I will say some of the items in showroom look nice. Although It’s confusing how they have a 4 star rating. Then again the reviews are mainly 5 years ago from mainly Caucasians. No surprise they may have a different experience. I do not recommend.

GPS was a real lifesaver! I live in the Bronx and spent the day driving around to different plumbing parts shops all over the city. Every store I visited kept referring me somewhere else—until the fourth shop finally told me, “Go to GPS. Everyone I send there finds what they’re looking for.”

Sure enough, they were right. I was helped by Gus, who took the time to carefully look at the picture of the part I needed. After just a few minutes, he found exactly what I was looking for.

I'm a kitchen designer in Nyack and I love specifying all plumbing requirements through GPS, Mt. Vernon.
I usually work with Kieth, who is an outstanding salesman. He is an expert with the products, and is very helpful making suggestions.
Also, Tiffania, was extremely helpful and professional while trying to resolve a product issue. She found the perfect fix and it was resolved in under 24 hours. Amazing!!!

Our water bill suddenly increased due to a hidden leak. I called them for an inspection. They found and fixed the issue quickly. I’m thankful for their honesty and efficiency.

The bathtub drain had hair buildup. They removed it efficiently. The water drains smoothly now. Really professional and reliable.

Loud knocking sounds came from the pipes. The crew tightened loose fittings and adjusted the water pressure. The noise stopped completely.

The washing machine drain line had developed a slight leak. It was replaced, all connections checked and the system was tested. No more leaks and the laundry area is dry and safe.

The washing machine hose leaked slightly during use. Their tech replaced the hose and secured it properly. No more water damage.

Our toilet tank kept running after flushing. Their specialists replaced the faulty flapper. They adjusted the water level properly. The tank now shuts off as it should.
