An update in 2024. They installed a heat pump for one of our rooms recently. As in the past the work was excellent and the people great. Will continue to use them.

Good company, we have been using them for about 10 years. They have good workmanship, fair prices, quality products, and knowledgable staff.

Absolutely great experience working with DH Berry. Staff was professional, courteous, clean, and meticulous. Every aspect from the estimate to the end was well planned and handled with great care.

They are a super nice team of guys who installed a Mitsubishi mini-split system in my home. The units are performing exactly as Doug said they would. I have roughly 1500 square feet in my ranch home and 3 wall units keep it nice a cool. Eric and Steve have installed over a 100 of these systems and make it look easy. If you are considering one of these systems I highly recommend DH Berry.

DH Berry installed a new furnace, A/C, and tankless water heater. Workers were excellent in terms of expertise, cleanliness, and professionalism. Unlike other companies who provided estimates, DH Berry took the time to introduce me to and complete all the paperwork for the NY Clean Energy programs, which provided discounts, rebates, and additional benefits, such as insulation and weatherstripping. Great communication throughout. I highly recommend them.

I had a Mitsubishi mini-split (Hyper heat) system installed in my ductless 2200 sq. ft. home that previously only had inefficient baseboard heaters. Doug walked through the layout with me, and Steve and Eric did the install (3 wall units) over 2.5 days. I had WiFi controllers added so that I could control the units remotely (kumo cloud app), and it was one of only a couple of installs they had done before but it worked out great. Although it's too early to see the savings on my electricity bill, the heat produced is a game changer; a 15,000 BTU unit is sufficient for our open ground floor areas. I'm looking forward to not having window A/C units in the summer, too.

We can’t say enough about our experience dealing with Doug and his crew. Being new to North Tonawanda we wanted to support local businesses. Moving into a 90 year old home with radiators during the warmest July on record we called DH Berry to come and assess the situation as the house was unlivable. Doug quickly responded and although we had to wait for materials and supplies due to Covid the job was installed as promised. The installation was challenging but thanks to the expertise of Eric and Steve it turned out way beyond our expectations. They were professional, courteous and conscientious. We can’t say enough about our experience, and are happy to go on record as being satisfied customers!

Very satisfied with the attention and service we received. We had a very large Mitsubishi mini split system installed in our home. Doug took the time to explain the best configuration for our floorplan and the installers Eric and Steve were friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. We were referred to DH Berry by another customer who had a Mitsubishi mini split installed and we are excited that we will finally have an efficiently cooled house for this summer. season.

I had a great experience with this company. Doug came to my home and gave me a quoted price for a new furnace and Central AC. He also did an energy assessment. Steve and Eric were the installation technicians. They did a fantastic job of getting the old system out and the new system installed. They did a wrap on the ducts rebuilt the cold air return. They even rearranged the ducts in the basement to allow for pressurization and better air flow. To top it all off, new diffusers were added. I am very confident that I will be comfortable in my home year round. I highly recommend this company.

I'm an disabled senior and my window a/c unit stopped working during our early heat wave. Was approved through HEAP to get a new one. DH Berry came promptly,(before our next one hits) and installed a new one. Steve was very friendly and knowledgeable, he did a great job. Bring on the Heat, I'm ready!...And they even took the broken one away.

When it came time to have a furnace and AC unit installed, I did my due diligence and got 3 quotes, one of which was from DH Berry. When I spoke to Doug, the owner of DH Berry, I immediately felt like I had found what I was looking for. Unlike the other companies, this felt old school, and in a very good way. We spoke on the phone, we agreed on a time for the estimate, he showed up early, and we discussed my needs. After thoroughly inspecting the existing system, he went back to his shop, hand wrote an estimate that included Good, Better, and Best options, and drove back to my house to deliver and discuss the estimate. This was true personalized service - no computers or tablets needed. What he offered was exceptional service at a fair price, and in my opinion, that's what we should all be asking for.

As for the installation, his crew of two (Eric and Steve) showed up on time and worked non-stop for 2 days. It was clear that they took pride in their work and never took shortcuts. Upon completion, Steve stood proudly next to the furnace and asked, "Well, what do you think?". I let him know that I thought the work was amazing. They made sure to test everything before they left and answered any final questions to ensure that I was fully satisfied with the work. I was.

Based on my experience with the entire process, I highly recommend DH Berry for all of your HVAC needs. Don't waste your time with anyone else. They are the best.

I needed to have whole air conditioning system replaced. Spoke to Doug first. He was very knowledgeable and helped me make the right decision on which unit to use. Eric and Steve came to do the install. They were on time very personable very professional. Did the install in one day. They cleaned up everything before they left and explained everything we need to know about the unit and about registration and warranty.

I highly recommend Berry Electric. Doug recently did an energy assessment,and was very thorough in explaining the energy saving measures &HVAC equipment that would be required. The techs who did the installation were Eric & Steve. They did a great job. They were very knowledgeable, professional & personable.

We had our air conditioner quit in the middle of July on a Friday, when it was very hot. The next day (Saturday) Eric, their technician, came out at 7:00 p.m. after attending an all-day church function and repaired our air conditioning. We were so thankful that Berry Electric was able to help us get our central air back & running. We will continue to use them in the future. Thanks again!

I was very fortunate to have Steve and Eric install my split-type air conditioning unit. It was a difficult job requiring them to go up and down my stairs and in and out of the house numerous times in 90 degree heat but I couldn't be more pleased with the results. They were respectful, friendly and hardworking. I felt very comfortable having them in my home. When the installation was finished they did an excellent job in cleaning up. They proceeded to explain how to use the system and to call if I had any issues. I would recommend D.H. Berry and their services to anyone.

Doug did a excellent job of working thru nyserda to get a contract to install a new furnace and hybrid water tank in my home, as well as a full energy audit. Couldn't be more pleased with results. Highly recommend.

Berry's crew of Steve and Eric did to install a new Laars boiler. These gentlemen are friendly and very knowledgeable. The quality of their work is excellent. They also did a great job of cleaning the workspace when done. From the initial meeting with Doug Berry for boiler selection to the completed install I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend D.H. Berry.

Great service

Scheduled for a tune up on mine and my tennants furnace. Did not show or call to let me know. Had confirmed appointment with him 2 days ago and assured me he would be here. Nothing.

Editing my Review: Been calling Anthony for the past 1 year to install ACs and perform annual maintenance on my furnace, he responded at first saying he's busy, then said he's on his own now his workers such as Patrick left him, then said he was backed up until May, this was February I asked him, I said no problem I will wait for him, as I was a loyal client, not the one to call someone else on the whim, then said to call another company when my AC unit stopped working the one he, himself had installed, the gas leaked, then he stopped answering my calls, he stopped answering my texts, he stopped answering my emails. I actually ended up buying a whole new unit over the summer and had it installed by someone else. What started out as a great service ended up being a very bad experience. Anthony you can call me to discuss this. You asked me for review originally when we met, I gave you an honest review, and now after waiting a year almost and calling you at least 20x, texting you at least 20x, emailing you at least 5x, I am again leaving an honest review.
