BUYER BEWARE: Missed a serious safety concern and shows no responsibility or remorse for their actions. Shame on them and stay away. The fine print in their contract states that their liability is limited to the inspection fee which is roughly $3,000, and that you need to commence arbitration, can't even go to small claims court...and arbitration costs a lot more than $3,000...STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Strongly recommend you read Jane Resident as she was a lot more articulate than I was. I just moved into my house and have already had a plumber here to deal with more than 50 gallons of water leaking from our HVAC system and the glass enclosure for our shower does not meet minimum engineering standards and needs to be replaced. In just the first 2 weeks living in my new home, I'm out more than $15,000 and "House Master" is certainly not a House Master but rather a great entertainer about superficial stuff. I had initially written a 5 star review when the automated email came to me asking for a review the day after I met the "amazing" Bob...Turns out he's amazing at absolutely nothing!

Mike was incredibly thorough and extraordinarily knowledgeable, starting from the roofing and exterior elements of the home to the foundation, HVAC system, plumbing system, electrical system, and all interior elements. His attention to every tiny detail far exceeded expectations. He also was friendly, courteous, and patient and took the time to thoroughly explain everything he was evaluating during the inspection. I learned so much during those few hours! An unexpected perk is that HouseMaster offers a service (free of charge!) that will transfer all of my utilities, internet/TV, and security services from my old house to my new one, saving me from having to suffer through this tedious and time-consuming task. Working with Mike annd HouseMaster was a great experience - highly recommend!

Mike was extremely thorough and allowed me to walk around the house with him so we could find everything and discuss together, that way I knew exactly what to expect when I got the final report (which came later that day, super fast). Also, he gave tips of advice as we went through the house, and introduced me to all equipment with which I may not otherwise be familiar with. Would recommend to anyone.

Our inspector Bob was top notch. He was detailed, instructive and very comprehensive. He shared what he was going to and why it was important during the inspection. His approach felt reassuring that any areas of concerned would be fully explored. Most importantly, we learned that our new house was in wonderful condition, despite it being more than 100 years old.

Bob and Mike were somehow simultaneously extremely thorough, extremely efficient, and extremely patient throughout the process.
