Installed out large system last year. Install crew were professional, friendly and clean. All went well. We did have a minor issue that arose after this year but the owners of 3rd rock handled this directly with me and were responsive and took great care of us. Great company to work with!

worst company. did lie to me saying that we will get 50% coverage through the government grant but received nothing until now. They usually sell their product giving the wrong information. Now we are required to pay the whole amount of money, no help from any source to cover the cost price. They should give the right information to the customer before installing the solar panel.

Decided to go solar due to rising energy prices had Mike come out and give his whole sales pitch it sounded good to me because my payment was supposed to be $193 a month but what he failed to tell me was that that was only an 18-month promotional deal with no interest and now my payment went up to $282 and having these panels makes no sense because I'm still getting almost 500.00 RGE bills in the winter and that's with me also burning wood for heat. I've called and texted Mike and the owner and neither one of them will return my calls or messages so I reported them to the Public Service Commission and they didn't do anything so now it's in the Attorney General's hands. Not to mention they let me go a year with my panels being offline and getting absolutely taken advantage of by Rochester Gas and Electric. They never even told me there was an app I could track my power production until a year after I had the panels up and running. Once that happened all of a sudden my bills from Rochester Gas and Electric changed and dropped dramatically.

Their team was on time, professional, courteous, and took the time to answer ALL of my questions. They gave me a completion timeline and they completed well before the timeline. Communication was constant and if I needed someone to answer a question, it was taken care of quickly. I highly recommend them for your solar needs.

Stephen and the crew answered all of our questions and were very helpful walking us through the paperwork process. The install crew was very professional.

Unprofessional, nasty and rude employees. Park illegally on the street, causing traffic issues and then when asked to move they yell racial slurs at you. Ridiculous and not worth your money. Go with professionals

The installers didn’t go as the plans specified and the inspection was failed and haven’t heard back for two weeks now. We were hoping to have it all finished according to their plans

We had a system installed last July in our side meadow. It's reduced out electricity cost and I believe it's been a worthwhile investment. I appreciate their timely follow up to my questions.

Not responsive. I requested quotes, heard back and the engineer was going to do some research and mapping and then get back to me. Never heard back. Would have loved to crunch the numbers with them but radio silence…

After a few hiccups in the beginning the panels are installed and up and running. Great company to do business with. All the installers were friendly and polite. Would do business with them again.

Jason and Kate are awesome to work with! They are responsive and knowledgeable! The guys putting in the system were also super. Very respectable of the land and property. The electricians were also very neat and knowledgeable and the financing and tax incentives made this a no brainer. I'm helping to reduce carbon emissions and saving a lot of money in the process. With electric rates going up, one would be crazy not to do this!!!

There are a lot of solar companies and you should choose a different company. 3rd Roc installed solar panels for us 11 months ago and the amount of energy we are producing is significantly less than what we were promised. 11 months after the install, we have produced 30% less energy than we were promised. Each individual month, we have produced less that we were promised and the range has been from 14% less to 49% less. We called the company and they first told us that it was because we let our trees grow too tall, but the trees were always here and we have never produced what we were promised starting at day 1, so it is not a tree growth problem. Then they said it was because the year has been not sunny enough. Obviously, there can be variability but the reality that we have never produced close to what was expected argues against every month being so terrible. Then, they said it was because 11 months is not enough data to determine that we are under producing. Finally, they decided I can't add. They have never examined our system to see if it is working correctly with equipment errors or just a flaw in how it was designed. Either way, we paid to install panels to produce an amount of energy that we are nowhere near and the company has used excuse after excuse as to why they are underperforming their promise. Bottom line, go somewhere else.
