I had Patriot Construction work on my house and from top to bottom I couldnt have had a better experience. The communication was excellent and the work that was done was top notch!

Nothing they did was done right in our kitchen remodel. They worked on it for a year. Yes a year because they had to come back a lot! The work is still not satisfactory and they have stopped returning our calls. It’s heartbreaking, we were so excited and they let us down big time. Also they used Bill’s Carpet to install our floor and we’ve had so many issues and they also stopped returning our calls.

I do not recommend this company. Hired them for a bathroom repair and remodel. After doing the job (which took 3 weeks), the supervisor discovered it was done improperly and all work had to be redone. A job that was quoted to take 10 days took 3 months. Workers were irresponsible and final product has many errors. Horrible and poor service. Look further!!!

I live in a high elevation area that regularly experiences high wind speeds. I contacted Jan after significant damage to my roof. He dealt with the insurance company and his crew installed a new roof in just a few days. Subsequent wind storms blew off a few shingles, but Jan and Rich are always responsive and stand behind their work.

Working with Jeremy has been wonderfully! I highly recommend!

I called to have new gutters installed a while back. Jan came out to take some measurements then sent us a quote. A little while later, I came home to nice, new gutters! They look so much better and, a couple years later, are as strong as ever, keeping our foundation dry!

Outstanding service and creativity! The siding on our house was no longer available, and nothing was close. Jan came up with the idea to put a stone look vinyl on the bottom of the house and use the original siding to fix the wind damage on the back. It worked beautifully, and now I have some spare pieces in case we need future repairs. Thanks Jan and team!

The guys were very professional and did a wonderful job and the clean up after tear off and reroofing was all gone in day and a half . Will definitely be having back for our next project . Thank You too all the men on our job.

Recently purchased a home and had the previous owner do a small roof repair for closing. The repair by Patriot just looked wrong and I had them get in writing that Patriot would Guarantee the work. First bit of rain and it's leaking like a DNC email server. I am not a roofer ( have installed numerous gaskets on diesel gen sets) it's clearly done wrong and the point of failure is obvious ITS VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE from the inside .
I have to wonder if the workers pretended to fix it then went and had some cold ones on the bosses time. Well it's been a hot summer I'd rather have a cold one then work on a hot roof. I guess we will see how that guarantee works out. 7/22/18 .
They sent someone out. He stated it was a faulty repair and he would have someone call me. 2 weeks later , no call to schedule repair. 8/2/18 . -
Recommended by our insurance co. They did an excellent job matching siding damaged by a January thaw. When we found shingles blowing in high winds, they came out to help on an emergency basis way after hours. Went to them when we had to have some work done in our kitchen that was also covered by insurance. When we had a problem with our power and RG&E told us we should replace our power box to avoid a fire, they were there within hours to check the situation out and see what they needed to fix the problem. They were there the next day to start the work.

Patriot Construction installed kitchen cabinets and a granite countertop to add a coffee bar to my kitchen. The crew showed up on time, had great workmanship, were nice, and cleaned up when they were done. I am very pleased with their work and will definitely hire them again for any future projects.

After the March 2017 wind storm, our roof was badly damaged! Rich was across the street at a neighbors assessing their damage and came across to introduce himself. That was the beginning of working with a him and NY Patriot who represented us through a difficult process with our insurance company. The communication from beginning to end was excellent, the craftsmanship of our new roof was superior, and the crew was courteous, professional, on time and helped to make a bad situation better. Rich White made sure to answer every question, provided us a variety of solutions, until we felt comfortable. Our new roof looks great!
We recommend them highly! Sharon and Carm -
While extenuating circumstances prevented us from going forward with our renovations, I wanted to put in a good word for the team we worked with to plan the project. Jan, George, and Alex were helpful, knowledgeable, and generous with their time. I would absolutely recommend that you consider speaking with them about your next home improvement.

I worked with a young man by the name of Jermey for deck renovations for my home. He is extremely efficient and detail oriented. He took his time and educated me on the whole process. I highly recommend this company!

Have known the owner of company a long time. Works great with all parties involved & looks out for the client best interest. Highly knowledgeable.

Had some unfortunate water damage to our home in July. Decided to work with Patriot because of their reputation and the fact they will assist you with insurance claims.
I started working with a sales rep, who was able to quote and submit paperwork to insurance.
This insurance process took until the beginning of December. I'd like to say that it was the process itself, but there were at least 3 times where I was promised that quotes and edits to those quotes had been submitted, only to receive a call from my insurance agent weeks later wondering where the paperwork was! This process took so long because the sales rep didn't do what they said, or neglected to follow up on a timely manner.
As you can imagine, I've had to contact them many times since July because of this. Most people are nice, but have been told that I'm insane to think any work would be done within a year, and another telling me I was calling too much!
Also, during this time, they had me talk with a sub-contractor to make selections and "be ready" for when the quote was approved. Instead, these poor guys have now been strung along since October. This sub- contractor even called me wondering why Patriot was taking so long!
So, the quote process was completed at the beginning of December (5 months so far). The next step with them is to talk with one of their project managers.
Someone who could talk job specifics, and schedule. I was promised by the sales rep that it would be scheduled before Christmas. I was adamant that if it couldn't be done by certain day (16th), that I would be traveling and it would have to wait. But I asked them to please have the project manager call me so we could talk those specifics and schedule.
4 weeks later, and still no call. A call this morning resulted in leaving a message and a promise they'd call me back.
So, my experience is that they are fairly unresponsive, over-promises but under-delivers, and you need to stay on them in order to get anything done. I have no idea when the work will be done, but my insurance has already paid them!
Update 1/16/23: So as their response mentioned, I finally got in contact with a project manager last week. Some work on drywall and a window frame was scheduled for today at 9. At 9, I received a call saying they would be about an hour late. When they finally showed up, he seemed unprepared for the scope and work needed, took some measurements, and left saying he needed to pick up the materials. After about 3-3.5 hours, I had to call to see what was going on, only to find out that they weren't coming back today! Yet another example of the poor communication!
The statement in their reply "We have not been paid by your insurance company for any of the work." is not true. How do I know? Well, not only have I received alerts when my insurance made payments to them, but I've also been in contact with my insurance who was able to not only track the payments made to Patriot, but confirm those payments have been deposited. At this point, I believe my insurance over Patriot.
Let's circle back on their office staff, the ones who answer the phone when you call. These people are simply gatekeepers, and will tell you that you have to speak with either the sales rep or a project manager, who always seem to be out of the office. After 6 months, I do assume they are getting tired of hearing from me, but I also don't care for snide remarks about how "it will take (them) longer to get me an answer, the longer (she) was on the phone with me!
So even when action does happen, I still experience over-promising but under-delivering, and poor communication!
Stay tuned! -
We recently hired Patriot Construction to side our house and remodel a bathroom. This was literally the worst experience I’ve had with contractors since purchasing our home 30 years ago. They failed in every way. Communication was poor, workmanship terrible,, and customer service nonexistent. If you are considering them for any type of project, I strongly recommend that you go with another company. We would have been better off hiring independent tradesmen to complete the work.

I could not recommend them further. This is one of the most professional businesses I've ever worked with and I would happily call them with any projects I have in the future. Jan made everything so simple and helped me fit my budget without any issues. I love Patriot and always recommend them to friends and family.

March 8, 2017 during the horrible windstorm we lost half of our roof, right down to the plywood. One spot was so weak it caved in to a bedroom and we had a large hole. To make matters worse, I had just suffered a stroke 3 days before and was told to "remain calm and try not get stressed". That was hard to do while watching your shingles flapping in the wind ! Well, we frantically called many places to get an emergency roof cover. The only one who called us back was Patriot. As swamped as they were, when I told them hubby had to go out of town that Friday, he came right over Thursday morning to check everything out. The emergency cover was taken care of. Jan sat down with us, explained everything in detail, and that he would work with our insurance company every step of the way as he was very experienced with claims.
His crew came out in August,. tore off what was left of the old roof, & installed our new roof, including vents. They cleaned up so well you'd never know they were here ! They were very professional, courteous and respectful. Contrary to a comment above, we have had a couple more windstorms since then, and have not lost one shingle. We would and have highly recommend Patriot for any type of remodeling or construction work. :-) John and Debbie Parks -
Patriot did work on my house and they did an extremely poor job. They were recommended through my insurance company. I really should have known better. The paint crew didn't do a great job. They're siding crew couldn't have screwed up more. Excuses after excuses were all I heard for why it took a year to finish. I wouldn't recommend this company.
Updated - I requested Patriot to come look at an issue I had with siding that connects directly with a part of the roof that they repaired. The existing siding was not put back properly and basically fell off the side of the house. I can't tell if this was an old issue or an issue that wasn't repaired correctly to begin with a year ago. However Patriot couldn't care less to even schedule an appointment to look at it. With almost days between replies (or none at all) that seemed completely uncaring, all I can say is run. Highly not recommended. Still.
