Really bad experience. They told me they would come out to clean my gutters. Apparently they showed up on a Thursday but never actually cleaned my gutters. I get a call the next day telling me they can't do my gutters because their ladder wasn't tall enough. Seriously? I have a standard 2 story colonial. Nothing out of the ordinary. My home inspector has no issues getting up there. Very odd and it left me in a bad position as bad weather is coming and now I'm left scrambling to find someone else. I can't recommend at all. Very shady that they showed up but just wouldn't bother doing it. Thanks for nothing.

Excellent company, very professional. I do not post recommendations lightly but would highly recommend Monroe Gutter cleaning to anyone. They are insured and experienced and these are two very important items when working with heights.

We were looking for a company to come and clean the gutters. Seemed like a simple enough proposition but we found it was nearly impossible to actually speak to a live person and even more difficult to get a simple quote. Monroe gutter cleaning picked up the phone after the first ring, gave us an accurate estimate over the phone. 80$ for a 2200 square foot house seemed very reasonable. We were very concerned about some of the other online reviews of this company but decided to give the company a chance and we are glad we did. Not only did they come over the day after authorizing the service but really left very little trace that they were there at all. They left two huge bags of junk at the curb, no mess in the yard, and as evidence of their work I sprayed the roof with a significant amount of water and heard the sweet sound of it flowing down the downspout. I will definitely be calling them again and wanted the world to know that two bad reviews a year ago seem like a fluke.

They did a great job. Left clean and took less than an hour. Fair pricing.Dave even did small repair at no charge. Will definitely use them again.

I don't know who these other people are complaining about, but it is not the same Monroe Gutter that I have been using for years. MY Monroe Gutter shows up twice a year, cleans the gutters quite well, leaves not a trace of their work, sticks an invoice in my door and vanishes. These guys are pros and do a very nice job. I wouldn't use anyone else.

In 2012 I had someone come to the door claiming to be Monroe Gutter, saying they were here to do the gutters. They had the big truck, ladders etc and I had no reason to believe they were not the real thing. They wanted to be paid then and there, and although I thought that was a bit odd, I paid them, in cash. They did some work and left. A few days later the REAL Monroe Gutter showed up. I had a conversation with the owner and he showed me that the imposters did virtually no work. This had been a scam. I don't know how they knew that I was a regular Monroe Gutter customer, but they did and managed to take advantage of me. That won't happen again.

You can use the REAL Monroe Gutter folks without regret. You won't be disappointed.

They were on time as promised, clean, professional and very easy to schedule. Now I am on their contract service and it is simple. I picked my own cleaning schedule and they just show up and take care of business. They just leave me an invoice, it’s trouble free. I would highly recommend Monroe Gutter Cleaning.

Monroe Gutter Cleaning is responsive, attends to details, with clear communication in person and on the phone. "5" star service". Many thanks because when I "dropped the ball" and failed to get my gutters cleaned for (2) years, they were able to add me to their schedule quickly.

In summary: two weeks, a lot of phone calls (I left out the phone tag in my longer version below) and the work did not happen, even after I approved of the new, higher price quoted to me.

For years we had the same man cleaning our gutters. He did an amazing job: cleared the debris off our roof and scooped the accumulated waste out of our gutters. Unfortunately he has retired. I called Monroe Gutter Cleaning on 6/18. They looked up the size of my house and quoted me a price. On 6/25 I received a call that having stopped by and looked at my house, they would need to charge me more. I agreed to the new price. On July 3rd I was left a note, and received a phone call, informing me that they would not do the job because they couldn’t get their hands in the gutters and my roof is “too dangerous”.
I give them two stars for being communicative and polite. A gutter cleaning service that doesn’t want to deal with people’s roofs is suspicious. As for their hands not fitting... well, the man previously doing it managed, we used another company before we found him, and my father-in-law has cleaned our gutters as well.

Monroe Gutter is the best gutter cleaning service we have had in 30 years of home ownership! We used to have flooding in our basement before we had them. We have not had a problem since. They are reliable and very thorough in their approach. We highly recommend them to any home owner who want to avoid problems with water flow and gutter clogging. They are the best in Rochester! I have been a customer of Monroe Gutter for the last five years and can honestly say they are very highly rated in my opinion. They show up when suppoosed to by my contract leaving my gutters and my property cleaner than they arrived. Absolutely recommend them them to anyone needing their gutters cleaned. If you are not happy with their work it is guaranteed and they will return at no cost and corrrct any problems you may have.

One of the best decisions we made as a homeowners was to hire Monroe Gutter Cleaning to do our gutters. They have done all the gutters in our home, some of which are difficult to access, with complete perfection. Before using Monroe, we had drainage and flooding issues from constantly clogged gutters. Monroe Gutter employees spent 3 minutes cleaning my gutters using a leaf blower (I wasn’t home when they came but was able to view doorbell camera footage). They didn’t clean out downspouts at all (see picture). They did take the time to leave $150 bill on my door. I called and spoke to the owner and he did have them promptly come back out. They took $20 off the bill when they returned.

Monroe Gutter Cleaners came the other day, and did a phenomenal job. They spent about 30 minutes with me listening to my concerns while they cleaned my gutters thoroughly, and even made sure my down spouts were clear! I'll definitely be contracting with them for the next several years.
