These professionals made my tree cutting and trimming work easy on me, every step of the way from scheduling the initial (free!) estimate to performing the actual work and cleanup. Also very pleasant, competitive and fair to deal with. Two thumbs way up!

I will recommend anyone needing a tree removal service to call KD Tree service or Rochester and I will use KD Tree service again for when I need another tree taken down again.
The guys who came to take down our tree did an incredible job. The tree was next to and partially hanging over our roof and also telephone wires. They had called us saying that they had some time and asked if it was ok to come that day which was about a week earlier than scheduled and it work out great for us too so we said yes.
The tree was taken down in my opinion quickly and with no issues. They left the wood behind per our request and they left the wood and branches stacked nicely where we had asked them to.
Very proud and happy with the results and the price they charged us.

Excellent services. Good equipments and machines for tree cutting. I liked their using Bobcat tractor and boom spider lift. Their arborist was highly skilled. They cut total 8 trees. Six trees were very next to my house and were 70-90 feet high. Their perfection of cutting trees is highly admired. They removed all cut pieces of all 8 trees. They cleaned my backward and side of house very well. They took away all big logs. Their services are excellent. I recommend KD services to others without any reservation. I would definitely call them again if I need tree services again.

Communication isn't great. I was told that the tree would be removed within 2-3 weeks, after 2 weeks I had to contact them for an ETA, they told me that they were coming in two days, not much notice. I took the day off and they never came, no communication that they weren't coming. I was told to contact the foreman, he said that he wasn't aware that they weren't coming today. I told him that if they didn't come the next day I wanted my deposit back. They came the next day and left the stump like the picture attached. I was planning to use the stump to put flower pots on it, couldn't do that with it like this. I contacted the foreman about it with no word. I contacted him again days later and he said oh so you want the stump ground down, I said no I want it cut straight across so that I can do something with it, he said that he'd contact his boss. Still no reply..

I was looking for someone to take down my very old maple tree. They have be the best deal and I don't regret hiring them for the service. It looks a couple of weeks for them to start due to their high demand and weather. For the job itself they took around 12 hours and 3 people to take care of the tree. I'm very satisfied with the job and they cleaned up my front yard pretty well when they were done. I highly recommend the service.

Recently had KD Tree service take down a big old pine that was next to power lines and leaning towards the house. The crew showed up on time and made quick work of the pine. They did an excellent job of cleaning up. Those guys deserve a raise.
And cost was reasonable.

Over Memorial Day weekend, a large four-trunk willow tree in my yard split, with two of the trunks falling into my neighbors' yards. Understandably, my neighbors were anxious for the mess to be cleaned up quickly. I contacted four tree service companies that day. One came out to give an estimate but couldn’t start for several days. Two others couldn’t even provide estimates right away.

KD Tree Service was the only company that gave me an estimate the same day and was able to begin work on that Sunday. They took the entire tree down in one day, removed the wood a couple of days later, and ground the stump shortly after that — all during a period of rain that could have easily delayed the work further.

Their crew was friendly, professional, and communicative throughout the entire process. They kept me well-informed every step of the way and handled everything efficiently. Their cost was very favorable compared to the other company that gave me an estimate. I’m very grateful for their prompt service and would absolutely recommend KD Tree Service to anyone needing tree work done quickly and professionally.

This crew did great work at a great price. They removed what I estimate was a 70 foot pine right next to a garage and a power line with no issues.

Leaving four stars because the schedule for getting the work done was unclear until the night before, and when the crew showed up in the morning, they decided they needed access to the neighbor's yard, which was not previously discussed - this caused a bit of confusion since the neighbor was not home and I could not get in contact with him. They also left their bobcat in my yard for two days after the work was completed.

KD Tree Service was absolutely amazing! Extremely professional, and knowledgeable. They took care, to make sure my grass wasn’t damaged, and they handled everything in a timely manner. I will hire them again for more tree services in the future. I encourage anyone reading this to hire this company, and pay them their price, it’s worth every penny because it’s hard work! KD Tree did a fine job of removing a tree, trimming branches from another, and removing the stump as well as an old stump in our yard. Everything was cleaned up so well and so neatly that you almost couldn’t tell they’d been here. When I wasn’t satisfied with the amount of limbs trimmed because of a misunderstanding, they came out again within two days and took more off to my satisfaction. The workers were really polite. The cost was very reasonable. I recommend them.

When a large tree limb come down on my fence during a storm, found it was rotted thru the center & in need of removal. My daughter's employer had them do some work for him and recommended them to me. Was able to work out a price to have two trees removed! Sam & his guys did a great job getting both of those large (100") trees down & out safely and in a timely fashion. Would use them again!
