Chris has done a wonderful job cutting a tree stump in the backyard on short notice.
Chris and his team did a great job today trimming my trees and did an extra demands on site.
Chris does an excellent job making sure that the customer is happy.
I highly recommend him and his team for any tree work that needs to be done.

Chris and company were not only on time but early! The work promised was the work done. Two trees down, two stumps out, and a planted 🌳. All in a days work.

Chris and his crew were timely, thoughtful, caring, and did a fantastic job of removing our arborvitae’s. There was no damage to the lawn whatsoever, and the cleanup was almost more than expected!

We called Chris late in the Fall to see if we could get a last minute snow plowing contract. Because of a surprise health issue, I was not going to be able to shovel. We were so grateful to Chris and his company!for putting us on his route. He came as soon as the snow hit a few inches. Then he would come back again if the snow piled up again. Great job and great guy. Eased my worries! We will definitely sign up for next winter. Thank you very much!!

Had an excellent experience with them coming to remove a fairly large lilac bush I had in my backyard. The service was extremely prompt and reasonably priced. Chris and Justin were very professional. Would highly recommend.

Buyer Beware - It appears that these 5 star reviews are fake (and/or friends & family). Doing damage control I suspect. I initially thought they did a good job taking down my ash trees (which they did indeed do) I even left a positive review (because the owner, Chris, asked me to). However, upon further inspection of the rest of my property, I discovered massive, costly, irreversible damage (I will be posting photos soon). The owners attitude completely changed after he got his money, forcing me to retain an attorney to sue for damages.

I have worked with Chris for about 3 years now, started with snowplowing, which he has been very solid and reliable with. It is a tough job especially in some of those snowstorms we get, but he has never disappointed.

I later hired him to hydro seed part of my lawn after an addition to my house and it came out great! He is at the top of my list for future yard projects.

I would highly recommend him as he really cares about his work, is easy to communicate with and is very responsive!

These guys were absolutely awesome. We had a tree fall onto our house from the wind storm on Saturday Dec. 11. I called them and they came out on Monday the 13th and within 2 1/2 hours they had taken down the tree and had all of the debris cleaned up. I can't say enough about this crew. Chris and Dan really know what they are doing. You can't go wrong with these guy's

I hired Tree and Yard Renovations to remove several overgrown shrubs and create a perennial garden in its place, along with some edging work and the installation of a bird feeder pole. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. Chris is friendly, personable and responsive—he came by to provide an estimate within two days, and the project was completed within the week.

Despite working in 90-degree heat, Chris and his team tackled the tough shrub removal with impressive determination and a strong work ethic. I also appreciated being able to consult with Chris on the garden design—his input was thoughtful and helpful. I'm absolutely thrilled with the final result, the quick turnaround, and the team's professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. They made sure everything was exactly how I envisioned it. There are a lot of tree contractors in the Rochester area-we have struggled to find one that is responsive to our VM or actually show up when promised. Our search is over-Tree and Yard Renovations not only did an amazing job but returned our calls promptly and gave us a fair price-their work is excellent-and Chris’s staff works hard and efficiently. We have more work needed and we have Chris on our speed dial. Call him-you will not be disappointed.

The crew was professional as they took down a very large tree that was close to my and my neighbor's house. They protected gardens and and a glass sliding door with plywood and cleanup the yard before they left. The owner went out of his way to fit my job into my tight schedule that was needed to install a pool. The owner was on-site throughout the job. I would highly recommend Tree and Yard Renovations!

When we woke up to a plowed in driveway and a broken snow blower, we were more than a little stressed. But a quick phone call later and we had someone in our driveway digging us out in no time. Our newly licensed daughter is super grateful that she can pull in and out of the driveway again!

After years of trying to achieve a lush lawn with no success I decided to renovate. After some research I contacted Tree and Yard Renovations. Chris and his team were knowledgeable, professional and helpful. They completed the renovation in September of 2023. As the spring of 2024 rolled around I was amazed at what my lawn had become. Found this company late in season for a very big job. After talking to Chris over phone, he stopped by after 2 days to see scope, gave estimate & scheduled work 3 weeks later. Very knowledgeable about all aspects of landscaping, had suggestions about tree roots in front and put together an estimate to trim a ton of bushes, weeding various garden beds and reseeding the front with dirt to level, seed & straw. Chris provided a timer to attach to hose/sprinkler which really helped with watering! The guys that were doing the work were very professional and hard working! Stumbled across a ground nest in front; everyone very flexible, moved to other areas. Came back a few days later to finish bush trim in front and clean up one area in back. Chris & Justin came back a third time to grind 2 small trunks from bushes that were removed for an additional fee (not part of original contract). Chris & John came back one last time to fix the root issue with big tree in front and did some edge trimming. Overall, Chris and his team did a great job with such a big project and their willingness to come back additional times to finish up things was greatly appreciated!

Chris just recently finished a new lawn renovation for us. Last spring we noticed some kind of weed had overtaken our lawn. It was a mess. My husband and I decided to call in an expert to take a look at it. I called Chris and within 30 minutes he was at our house. We talked to him and decided on a complete lawn redo. He did exactly what he promised and we now have the BEST lawn on our street. Another thing I'd like to mention. We will not do business with any vendor who does not return our phone calls. Chris returned EVERY phone call, even when he was away on vacation for the weekend. Thank you, Chris.

Chris and his crew did an excellent job of three large projects: tree trimming/cutting/removal; pond overhaul including cattail removal and dredging; and old culvert removal/replacement including stone and fill to create a supportive berm around the culvert.
We hired this company because they could handle all facets of our projects. We were impressed with their professionalism, work ethic, quality of work, friendliness, and honesty.
We were so impressed that we plan to use them in future projects.

We live in north Greece of Rochester and had a giant maple tree with a couple big branch leaning over our roof and we needed the whole tree to come down because the inside had started to rot. They gave us a price no one else could beat and did an amazing job cutting and removing the tree!! I highly recommend Chris and his workers!
