My A/C condenser stopped working. Ryan came the same day I called, patiently explained exactly what was wrong, and immediately ordered the parts necessary. While there was a delay in getting the parts -- a supplier problem, not a Wesco problem -- Ryan was communicative about the status and finished the repair the same day he got the necessary part.

We recently added a central heat pump, added some new ductwork, and installed two mini-splits to replace a defunct AC and supplement an oil furnace in our home. I did a lot of due diligence before jumping into the work, and I am happy that we chose to go with Wesco 53 for the work. They provided good service for an excellent value.

The installing team of Anthony, Orlando, and Mika were all very skilled and attentive, not to mention very kind to a curious toddler. After months of research, advice from public entities, websites, videos, and obtaining two other quotes, I got in touch with Wesco 53 with the intent to buy a Daikin FIT heat pump to replace our aging standard furnace.

Ryan came by shortly after I reached out and provided excellent advice, including how to avoid overspending on unnecessary changes (such as the hot water) and how to maximize rebates and credits. The quote was within our budget.

A weekend later, a team of three mechanics arrived and didn't mind the four flights of stairs they had to navigate to remove the old compressor and install the new inverter.

So far, the house has cooled down nicely. It will take a couple of months to know how well it heats, but I have no doubt it will be great.

Our thermostat gave away a little over two weeks ago. I called around to see who could come and fix it ending up with my electrician. My electrician didn’t seem to quite know how to change the thermostat so I decided that I needed an HVAC technician. The thermostat finally completely broke the day before the hottest day of this year where the temperatures here soar to over 100° with no thermostat there was no air conditioning! As I expected most HVAC companies were extremely busy and didn’t even call me back after I left a message however, Sean from WESCO 53 returned my call within a half an hour, and even tried to schedule me on this extremely hot day when his technicians were already completely booked. Unfortunately, scheduling that day did not work out, which I understood but he’s scheduled us for the next day. The technician showed up the following day and were extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable! They changed out the thermostat in no time ended up changing a fuse in my air-conditioning system and also checked to make sure that all systems were 100% without me even asking and the price didn’t break the back.
