As a realtor I buy and sell a lot of property. Being in business for the last 17 years the worst part of my job was finding a reliable contractor to do the work. For the past 6 years I’ve been so stress free since Shiv has been handling all contracting operations on my properties. Electrical Plumbing Carpentry anything I mean anything this guy can do it. Great contractor and friend.

Shiv comes off as a very nice guy. Soooooo Godly but ran off with my money and never finished the job. Left a hole in the siding, wind blew the siding off the house within a couple of months, installed siding crooked and the capping on windows look horrible and installed incorrectly which he agreed on and never came or called to fix the problem. So many other problems with this job, UNBELIEVABLE. Trust me do not hire this man to do siding on your home. He does not know what he's doing.

This is a review of Shiv Contracting Inc, and the following is our opinion of the disappointing experience we had with this company. We met Shiv through Angi. He stated that he had tremendous experience in designing and renovating not only homes but also buildings. He showed us photos of rooms that he had worked on, and we were impressed with what we saw.
On May 29th, 2022 we signed a contract with Shiv Contracting Inc. where Shiv agreed to furnish all the materials and labor to complete the job. There will be a six-month warranty upon completion of the job if anything needs repairing, they will take care of it. The job was to renovate the master bathroom and a powder room (½ bath). It also included renovating the master bedroom with an emphasis on redoing the ceiling which had water damage.
The job was a timely process; it took them a little over three months to complete the job. The workmen would sometimes work a full day but most of the time they worked a half day. We are not knowledgeable about home repair/renovations so the work to us looked good.
On July 11th, 2022 we entered into another contract with Shiv Contracting Inc to renovate our jacuzzi bathroom. In the contract Shiv agreed to purchase all the bathroom materials and supplies except for the shower tub, the frameless shower door, and the faucets. During the process of completing the job, he requested that we purchase the floor drain, the paint, and the hardware for the bathroom vanity.
Later, we noticed that he installed a shower door for the master bathroom that was so flimsy that we requested its removal and immediately hired a shower door company to come in and install a better-quality door. We were also able to have them return two tiny inferior looking toilet bowls before they were installed.
We became deeply concerned about the quality of his work when a workman for the shower door company stopped by to measure for the shower door in the jacuzzi bathroom. He asked us why the heating apparatus was installed above ground next to the bathtub. He further stated that leaving it above ground will result in it needing to be replaced within a year. Shiv was not pleased when we relayed our concern, but we insisted that it be placed underground as the worker had advised.
The work was completed on September 2nd, 2022, and we paid him his final payment. A short time after we had water coming down into our kitchen from the ceiling. We also had cracks on the walls and ceiling of the master bedroom and an electrical outlet in the jacuzzi bathroom was not working. We contacted him about those issues; however, he was out of the country. A few days later he called and came by to do the repairs. After fixing the leak he accused us of owing him four hundred dollars for the vanity he had purchased for the jacuzzi bathroom. He stormed out of our home after we told him we did not recall any such conversation since it was not on the contract, and he was responsible for purchasing the vanity. He did not wait to even hear about the additional repairs needed on the work he had done. Later, we texted him about additional repairs that are needed and sent him several pictures of the cracks on the wall and the ceiling. We reminded him that our contract had a six-month warranty and we expected him to adhere to the contract.
Despite several calls and text messages sent to him we have not heard a word back from Shiv Contracting Inc. It is disappointing to know that we entered into a contract with Shiv Contracting Inc, a business recommended by Angi to renovate our home and we ended up in this situation. He gave us a false sense of security by signing a contract with a warranty and in the end, he did not comply with it. We can say that we are completely unsatisfied with the quality of their work and will never hire them for any other job in our home nor would we ever recommend them to anyone.

I brought my house in 2017 and I made a great choice choosing Shiv Contracting for new renovations. I dealt with four contractors prior to Shiv each and everyone I found over priced and unprofessional. I sat down with Shiv in his office and after that meeting I knew I was making the right choice. A 3 month project by estimate of others was finished in 1 month and a fraction of other prices I was getting. Highly recommended

I had a serious plumbing issue where my basement flooded continuously. I didn’t know who to call and a friend of mine recommended me to call Shiv. Best choice I made he did an amazing job and It’s been 3 years since the incident and I have seen no signs of anything happening. Fully repaired in a short period of time . He even called after the job was done to follow up A class worker and great guy.

I reached out twice to get someone to come over and receive a quote. He told me he’d stop by Wednesday. Never did. I reached out again to see if he was going to stop by eventually sometime the following week. No answer. Horrible customer service.

Excellent company very professional and thorough! My wife and I was looking for a construction company because we wanted to get our front steps done! Singh and his crew did an amazing job making our home look beautiful with the new steps!

The job was completed very quickly and totally transformed my front yard. They were professional and a pleasure to work with. I recommend them for your paver needs.

I reached out to Punjab Construction after reading their reviews. Scheduled to meet twice to give us an estimate, never showed up. Wasted our time and never reached out to follow up or reschedule. Both times I had to reach out multiple times asking if they would even show up or not. Very unprofessional and poor communication.

I hired Punjab construction and they did an awesome job , they were so friendly and so professional… I’m ready to start my next project with them ! If you guys read this , let me tell you , this is the perfect construction company for your projects, plus they give you good deals ….🙌🏻

Showed up everyday and got things done quickly. Ive had a fair share of experience with contractors but these guys are the first to never miss a day. I would hire Punjab Construction again in a heartbeat. Trust the good reviews, they are legit!

I was looking for a small construction company online on Google search,
to have some work done. Concrete the back -yard , removing the shed, replace fencing and remove a part of deck, I find the Punjab construction Company , I am glad I did, Lovedeep who answered my call was very professional and pleasant . I hired them for my project . They were accurate, timely, innovative , professional and affordable Great Company. I would hired them again if I need construction work. I highly recommend them.

Singh and his team completely renovated my backyard. From waterproofing to adding steps into my basement, stone work, drainage, paving stones and new fencing. Lovedeep was great, helped me with my backyard paver project that had a specific budget and timeline. The work was excellent. Punjab construction has been nothing but amazing! I had been shopping around for a pavers company for a couple months, until I found Punjab construction Instagram. I set up an appointment with them to get a quote and from the moment I met the owner, he was professional and clear of the price and work to be done. Since I had a pool installed, I wanted custom design for my backyard and Punjab construction was able to bring my vision into reality. Throughout the process there was minor adjustments to the initial design but the owner was flexible and did not overcharge. The pricing for the project was the best one. I had gone through different companies and all quoted me three times the price. Punjab construction doesn’t deserve 5 stars, they deserve more. We are already talking about future projects and look forward to it.
