I rarely write reviews...and let me tell you this is my first review for a service that I didnt even have done. My neighbors had two trees removed from their property. I can understand if wood chips and some tree debris fell into the yard. It's a completely different story when long branches are left in the yard and when you receive property damage. A branch must have fallen onto our deck which caused it to break a glass bulb on our string lights.( Lights don't work anymore)Thank god my wife found the glass before our 18 month old did. Our solar light fence post cap in the corner of our yard was cracked and knocked off it's post. (Doesnt work anymore) A picket to one of the fence pickets was cracked off. I called them immediately the next day and left a message. These messages continued for MONTHS!! My phone calls were screened. Someone finally got back to me after I told them I was going to notify the BBB and reach out to social media. I was told the owner would come over but it would be a while. Weeks went by and he finally showed up unannounced. He approached me like I was in the wrong and that I was a major inconvenience. Damage and photo proofs were shown and sent over to him. He said I would be reimbursed. I also emailed the secretary photos and the product info. I have yet to hear back from them and yet to be reimbursed. My neighbors trees were taken down in early Summer! It is now December! The level of discourteous and unprofessionalism from this company blew me away. And I didn't even use them for a service! Its sad to say but I'm glad I'm not the only one on here who has had trouble with this company. The property damage that occurred on my property may be petty but it's the principal and that Rockland Tree Service should take accountability and eradicate the issue immediately.

The gentleman, Rumaldo, that owns the business is a very courteous man and he explains everything thoroughly to you, what they are going to do, what not to do and what it is going to cost while the conversation is going on....They arrived early in the morning, did the wonderful job, which was many different things, and were very careful to clean up and left the place, my home and driveway very neat....Prices are very fair and the workers are very polite....I would use them again without any problem at all...

We get our seasoned firewood from this company. Good value. Neat delivery. We’ve been very happy with them. Will continue to use their service.

Remaldo said his crew would be at my house at 8 am , they arrived at 7:30 and ready to work! His crew did all the work he said he would do. They cleaned up after work was completed. I would not hesitate to use their services again!!

An incredibly professional service that delivered even more than expected. The crew worked as two teams at different locations on my property, removing over a dozen uprooted trees (caused by a freak tornado). When they let, huge root balls and stumps were gone and the land looks like a park. As a courtesy, they discovered some untouched but unstable/rotted trees and removed them for me. I would highly recommend them.

Firewood: quality and cut are horrendous. Most of the wood is still green, or semi-dry at best (at least 25% humidity), though was promised dry wood. I asked for 16-18 inch logs for wood stove. At least 25% of wood was in huge chunks, which had to be axed to size--each slab making 5-6 logs. Another 50% were just too big for good burning, with one piece at a time barely fitting in the wood stove. Another 10% were scrawny branches totally covered with lichen. The wood was supposedly all ash, but there was a good amount of soft wood mixed in. Absolutely the worst wood I have ever received, which is unfortunate because the seller otherwise was punctual, efficient, and friendly.

Romaldo was scheduled to do two trees, but after working extremely hard for a few hours - we realized we needed two more pulled and he didn’t flinch and did those as well on the same day. I’ve never experienced this kind of work ethic! He’s incredible! Worth every penny!

I received three cords of firewood last week, delivered on time, predominantly ash. I like to have wood on the chunky side for overnight burn times, which was supplied. I have been using Keylor for firewood and tree services for a number of years, very competitive pricing and a professional family operation.

Called on Thursday evening around 6. They came 20 min later to do and estimate. Friday morning they showed up bright and early and did wonders to my back yard. Pics coming soon. Highly highly recommend. Great prices. Great work. Very effecient. Extremely happy customer

Team showed up on time and got right to work. Took three trees down. Trimmed quite a few others. Ground down the stumps on the trees removed. Blew the roof, walkway and driveway of all leaves and debris. Absolutely a great and wonderful experience. Price was within my budget. Definitely hire this company!!

Pro: timely and fast working with a large crew. Skilled at felling trees in tight quarters.
Con: overzealous. We called to get an estimate for one tree. They came when we were not home, went all over the property, and marked _five_ trees with spray paint to be taken. When we met in person, claimed one of his workers had done that. But we agreed on a very good price for three trees. Unfortunately, he did not communicate this to the crew—we stopped them just in time from starting to a fourth tree, but too late to save a young cherry and most of our raspberry and blackberry patch that they cut because it was “in the way”. Wife was livid. Boss made all kinds of excuses, the crew don’t listen, etc. and claimed the young tree they cut was not a cherry.
We won’t use again.

Buyer beware on the firewood. He sold me green, wet, wood. I asked multiple times if it was seasoned and he said yes. You can see this log barely burning over a huge bed of coals and dripping water. When I called back to complain he told me I was using it wrong. Price was very reasonable so I probably should have have known. I can't get this stuff to burn without help from other logs.

We needed a tree cut from our multi-family parking lot. Ronaldo and the team were able to get us a good price and we added a few smaller trees and clearing of brush. To say it looks amazing is an understatement. We have clear ground now and our tenants are happy that fall leaves and twigs won’t be damaging their cars.
