After requesting an appointment online, I was contacted immediately and was happy to find out that Dan was available to help. He did an amazing job, taking the time to explain complicated concepts in simple terms and providing me with all the details I needed to understand the work he was doing. Even if you're not familiar with electricity, Dan is the perfect person to work with - after just one meeting, you'll walk away with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Billy did a great job installing two ceiling fans in my apt. Friendly and personable.

Bilco Electric did a great job replacing an old, faulty breaker panel, rewiring my kitchen and installing new fixtures and ceiling fans, as well as new outlets and switches. The work was done quickly and meticulously. When a few small issues developed (thanks to workers that came in afterwards) Bilco responded in a friendly and timely way and fixed the problems that arose. I could not be happier and will recommend them to anyone i know who needs electrical or A/V work done. Thanks Billy!

Googled "best electricians in my area" Bilco Electric and Datacom of Staten Island pooped up. I need a Ring Doorbell installed. So I give them a call. Guy name Billy answered. I told him what I needed. He was like no problem.... I called Friday, he said ill be there Monday morning. He came and did everything in 20 minutes and did a great job. Then the next day I wanted something changed on the doorbell. So I called and without hesitation Billy was like no problem.. ill be there in the morning. He came and took care of it. This is a awesome company and Billy was great!!!

Bill is by far the BEST ELECTRICIAN out there! I’ve lost count at how much he’s done to help me: from troubleshooting the wiring for my furnace, making sure my NEST thermostat was properly wired and configured and speaking to the motherboard of the furnace, replaced my electrical box for the central AC unit, he installed new smoke/carbon monoxide detectors and made sure they we’re communicating with each other, to installing both my alarm system as well as installing the BEST cameras (they don’t lose the signal (unlike store-bought/internet-bought cameras, and are actually hard-wired and accessible via your phone app) in addition to changing old GFI outlets outside! I’m having him come back to change the outlets in the house as well as the switches! I’m not willing to risk my house, my life or the lives of my pets to have someone do electricity work incorrectly! His expertise and service far surpasses others and I appreciate the fact that he’s honest, which is a rarity in today’s day! I highly recommend him and I’m not someone that writes many reviews, so the fact that I am is saying a lot!

Bill is the ultimate professional! Installed an outdoor 5 camera system in one day, which included a monitor. Wiring was perfect on our award winning house. He also gave me a Veterans Discount!

Billy was amazing. So great to work with and fixed our problem fast and efficiently. I could smell a terrible burning smell but couldn't locate where it was coming from. I thought I was going nuts because my husband couldn't smell it. Billy was really cool about it and took my concerns very seriously. He thoroughly reviewed all the possibilities and found the switch that was causing the smell. His price is fair and was for sure worth every penny. I can sleep soundly tonight. Billy is an outstanding electrician, customer service focused, and a good person. He goes out of his way for his customers 24/7. Since moving to the Island last May, Billy did all the electrical repairs to my house, which needed a lot of work. He replaced and fixed all the light fixtures, sockets, switches, stove, and main breaker box all at very reasonable prices. Just today Billy helped me with a critical electrical problem. His prices are extremely fair, he does meticulous work and is very knowledgeable in whatever is asked. Billy was great, he spent all day wiring my house for cameras and didn't question when I wanted different Ethernet cables just told me upfront it'll be more money because of material but same labor. Very upfront and recommended good equipment and still happy with it to this day. Definitely give him a call if you need cameras for your house. Had it installed over a year ago and it's still going strong.

Few months ago, when I plugged an electric heater there was a smoke and smell came out from this outlet. Few weeks ago, one of the gfci switch making a crazy buzz noise.. We found Billy based on people's reviews. He came last week within schedule time. As soon as he opened those wall plates and took a look at the outlets, he quickly diagnosed our GFCI is dead and the smoke outlet was caused by hot wires didn't twist and got loosen from a wire nut and burned. He explained all the issues in very details and very professional. I asked him so many questions and didn't get annoyed. He make sure all issues are fixed before leaving.
The price is reasonable. I felt like I found the right person. I definitely will call back again for future jobs. Yes, he does wear mask during the job.

Just had Billy install three Ring Spotlight Cameras that are wired and I have to say that he did a phenomenal job with it. Not only was he respectful about keeping your indoor area clean, but he also made sure that the wiring is minimalistic and out of sight. I was debating between 3 or 4 cameras for the house, and after he set up 3 cameras, he said that it was enough as it captures all that I need to, which I believe speaks volume about his honesty. His patience is also something that I would like to commend him on. Pricing is fair for what he does and he is very open about it, so don’t hesitate to contact him with any questions. I highly recommend Billy as an electrician and especially for your camera needs. He also responds very quickly to your phone calls and emails. I would not hesitate to contact him again for his services if I need anything else installed in the future.

All the reviews are true. I went looking for someone to install my home security system and came across Billco & electric. I met with Bill who gave me an extremely reasonable estimate.
