Plumbing reviews in Staten Island, New York

Was referred by my HVAC specialist, arrived promptly, fixed the issue at a reasonable cost with no issues.

I consistently receive top-notch service at this business. The staff is courteous and respectful, making me feel valued as a customer. Eric takes care of the logistics, calling me daily to confirm my materials and preparation, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
-
I lost heat and headed to the office on Arthur Kill Road where Anthony assisted me in tracking down the right component, which was handled with great professionalism. Thanks again for your help.
-
This place is thoroughly unimpressive. The staff's handling of our garage issue was completely unacceptable and reflects poorly on their service standards.
-
Excellent products with outstanding customer service.
-
This business was a waste of time. The selection was almost nonexistent and the staff had terrible customer service skills. It's baffling they received positive reviews in the past.
-
I always head to Coastal's Arthur Kill location when I need something - it's reliable and consistent. Eric takes care of me every time, no exceptions. Highly recommended for hassle-free parts and units.
-
I always turn to Eric for plumbing and heating supplies - he consistently delivers top-notch customer service.

As a seasoned HVAC mechanic with 35 years of experience on Staten Island, I've consistently delivered subpar work until meeting Eric at his Coastal location on Arthur Kill Rd. His exceptional expertise and speed far surpass anything I've encountered, setting an exceptionally high standard for the industry.

I've worked with Coastal for decades. One reason I stick with them is their staff, particularly Eric Volpe. He's instrumental to the company and consistently gives top-notch attention to our business every day. This is why we keep coming back - the quality of his service makes him a vital part of our daily routine.

The service I received from one employee was subpar. This person consistently displays a poor attitude, often making me feel like my business isn't valued.
During my latest visit, despite being the closest location to my workplace, I only stopped by because of necessity. After ordering, the employee brought out the necessary items to my vehicle and I thanked him politely. However, instead of a welcoming gesture, he simply walked away without acknowledging my gratitude.
This behavior is not an isolated incident; it's happened multiple times, which is why I'm sharing this review. The only notable exception is that the other employees at both locations are courteous and provide good service.
It's worth noting that if you're looking for a more affordable option, there are other supply stores in Staten Island that offer similar products at lower prices. -
I rely on Eric for my coastal needs because he consistently checks in with me daily. He provides upfront pricing and availability information, and his expertise on specialty parts is unmatched.
-
I've had good experiences with Coastal plumbing supply and their sales team, particularly Eric. He's helpful for my heating and AC needs as a homeowner and professional. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone in need of similar services.

Great plumbing suppliers, excellent staff. Had the pleasure working with Michael, who's super polite and knowledgeable. Always will choose them for my needs. Thanks again!

Coastal Arthur Kill Rd excels in customer service, providing all the essentials. Mike, Cenio, Eric, and their team deliver top-notch service, making them stand out.

This business has delivered top-notch service and quality, making them our go-to partner for years. As a family-owned operation, it's reassuring to know we can count on them consistently. The level of care and attention from the team is impressive, particularly Michael and his staff. We're grateful for their dedication to meeting our needs daily, and appreciate the personal touch that sets them apart.

As a contractor, I've worked with Coastal over time, and they've consistently provided great support. The customer service is top-notch. One employee in particular, Eric Volpe, has stood out for his dedication. Every morning, he checks in with me via text to see if there's anything he can help with. His prompt responses and willingness to be available are impressive - he'll often have whatever we need ready within seconds of hearing from me. That level of service is what keeps me coming back to Coastal.

Our experience with Coastal began at the New Dorp showroom, where Rosa provided exceptional service. She efficiently managed supply and stock issues, was consistently communicative, and offered helpful guidance throughout the process.
However, a visit to their Bay Street location revealed significant problems. The staff displayed poor attitudes and inadequate customer service. The delivery service was equally unimpressive, leaving our items in the rain without offering assistance with loading them onto the covered porch - just 15 feet away.
A quoted "insurance" policy would have prevented the delivery of valuable Kohler products to an exterior area, making it impossible for us to properly inspect and sign off on the delivery.
The delivery person was smoking during the drop-off and the boxes were dirty. To make matters worse, an item was missing from the delivery, prompting a visit to Bay Street. Unfortunately, the staff member there was rude, condescending, and refused to accept my ID without a receipt - despite Rosa's assurance that I wouldn't need one for the replacement.
Rosa's swift action in shipping the missing item directly to our home was greatly appreciated. -
I've had nothing but positive experiences with Coastal plumbing at both their new Dorp lane and Bay Street locations. However, my experience at the Arthur kill location has been vastly different. The staff, particularly Eric at the service counter, seem to be consistently miserable and unfriendly. As a fellow plumber with an established account, I've encountered numerous issues with this location.
It's unacceptable that people are forced to deal with emergencies after hours, only to be told they're closing up shop. A half hour is hardly a significant inconvenience, especially considering the staff gets paid for it. The attitude and tone of Eric and others like him are not helpful at all - snide remarks and sarcasm aren't solutions.
If someone's going to be miserable every day, regardless of the time, they should consider finding a new career path. Perhaps something like McDonald's would suit them better. Unfortunately, Coastal Arthur Kill has let me down once again. When in the area, I'd rather opt for Home Depot or Lowe's, as they tend to have more reliable service and support during emergencies. -
Our experience with your company was disappointing from start to finish. A contractor visited our home, only to discover a missing part that wasn't available - it was explained that they should look elsewhere. Later, my wife met with a saleswoman who was rude and unhelpful, stating she'd already made 11 sales and didn't care about us. It's clear this woman lacked customer service skills. The contractor himself seemed like a nice guy, but we've decided to take our business elsewhere. To succeed, you need to focus on maintaining quality - it's much harder than reaching the top.

I was skeptical going in but Eric consistently delivered when I needed him. He made an excellent impression, and I appreciate his professionalism. After my positive experience, I've found that Coastal Supply is indeed a top-notch supply house - thanks to them.
