GONZALO, i is the best plumber in staten island . I been using him now for over 10 years .he is reasonable with his prices very reliable most times he shows up same day u need him. , and no job is too small or too big for him . He will show up at your door. At the exact time he promises . U on weekends .rain snow or shine. And I say 98% (sometimes extra or diffrent pipes or work might b needed)of the time the price he sets before he shows up is the price u pay .every one of my friends and family member I recommended him to, are very happy with his work .with he's prices and with hes punctuality. Finally Ihe's very friendly and .cleans up he's mess .and makes it convenient for me to pay him on Zeille

I had a problem with my kitchen sink for many years. Island plumbing came in on time, and professionally did my sink, and also added a trap which I didn’t expect he was extremely neat sufficient. I was very proud and happy of his work and will use them in the future. This is the third time I use them definitely recommended.

I recently used Island Piping to evaluate an issue I was having with lack of hot water. The tech arrived on time, evaluated the situation and was able to determine the cause. He was transparent providing options to resolve the Issue and completed the work timely. I would recommend this company and will continue to use them in the future.

I am disappointed of his service and he actually put my house in danger. He is very money oriented to the detriment of his customers. I contracted him to clean my drier exhaust for which he failed. He connected the drier back. The drier worked for hours without drying after he left. I called him back and he refused to come back to check his own work. Before he left, he recommended that I contract him to do a camera inspection of the duct line which made me suspicious. I bought an camera myself, broke the wall and I found that he left 10 feet of rod and a whole brush inside the exhaust drier duct. This is dangerous since the exhaust has nowhere to go and that broke my drier. He willing left a brush inside the duct line. The brush stopped the flow of air and he knew that and didn’t do anything to help me fix it. He told me that karma would get me when I complained about his exorbitant price gouging. What professional would live a brush inside a vent line and actually don’t care. I was shocked and upset that he would recommend to hire him to use a camera to find a brush he left in there. I gave him an opportunity to fix the problem before I wrote this review and he didn’t answer. He is good at answering quickly which a lot of people appreciate but this comes at a high price and he treated me like a sucker and i suspect he does the same to others. See attached picture of the rod and brush I removed from the wall. He left it in when the rod broke and didn’t have the professionalism and courtesy to remove it. This is messed up.

Gonzalo was referred by a friend, I was having problems with my heated floors. He figured out the problem and was able to fix everything within an hour. He had everything he might need on his truck with him, very efficient! He knew so much! Definitely will call him again with any plumbing needs!

They are amazing, I called Gonzalo on Sunday night because my heat and hot water stopped. He came, finished the job that night very cleanly. He also helped me with a few other things. Reasonably priced, knows his stuff and super respectful. He’s my go to plumber!

I have used Island Plumbing and Heating Service for the past few years. The technician, Gonzalo, is amazing. He’s very accommodating and intelligent and does a quality job for a reasonable price. I’ve had him work at my home as well as my rental property. He works quickly but it doesn’t feel rushed, answers any questions I have and let me know if there is any problems to call him and he will come back. Luckily I’ve never had to call him for anything he worked on in the past. I will be using this company any time I have any kind of plumbing issues and I suggest you should too.
