So we heard so much about Hicks Nursery for years and when we moved to the neighborhood we tried them to landscape our new house. It was we blank canvas as we had removed what was previously there. Ken was our designer and he was wonderful! He worked with our busy schedule and was flexible. He designed the space and came to the house to present it to us. He gave us several options of how to implement it as we wanted to do it in stages and he really listened to exactly what we wanted. He presented the design to us and accompanied the design with a packet of photos of what each plant looked like in bloom so that we could envision the final product. This was very important to us because we found it hard to envision how it would look. He explained the reasoning behind the choice of each plant. He designed the space so it would have some color for most of the year honoring our request for as much color as possible. They completed everything we wanted in one day. He followed up to make sure we were pleased and had been satisfied. We look forward to implementing the next stage in the Spring. We are thrilled with the results so far. It will need to grow in of course (that was part of the design) and we will see the full product over the seasons as well. We are charmed by our new garden and can’t wait to see the changes as it grows!
Part two - Spring 2024 - We divided our landscaping into two parts doing the front of the house first and then the back of the house the following Spring. Wow I couldn’t be happier. We told Ken, our landscape designer, that we wanted continuous color in our garden especially in the back where we intended to spend time outdoors enjoying it. He designed it that way, again showing us photos of what the plants would look like when they matured. It was truly delightful to watch the very green plants they planted grow so quickly and blossom with gorgeous flowers. I am stunned at how long the flower carpet pink roses bloom and rebloom covering the area with beautiful flowers. I now have a routine that I go outside each day to enjoy my beautiful garden and see the amazing changes that take place. Our limelight hydrangeas now make a beautiful centerpiece for our backyard. I look forward to watching my garden grow more and more lush as the days, weeks and months pass. Thank you Hicks (especially Ken) for my lovely garden!

Hicks was excellent in helping me choose the correct plants for my project. They made the instillation process easy. Instillation was quick and efficient. Workers were polite and left the work area clean. We are delighted with what Hicks did and highly recommend their services.

We needed some tall dead bushes removed from a 15 foot wide strip in the backyard. The staff at Hicks assisted us with picking out shrubs that were suitable for our needs. A manager came to our house and inspected the site and made further helpful suggestions. The crew that did the actual removal and planting arrived on time and was experienced and careful. They asked for my approval at several critical times before proceeding. they did a truly professional job an cleaned upwhen finished. I couldn't be happier with the results and the way that the Hicks employees did their job.

Everyone we encountered was amazing and professional from the start of the process until the end of the process. We are so pleased with the work that was done and our yard looks beautiful. From my initial telephone call inquiring about their landscaping design and installation services, to the last watering of my new backyard garden by the excellent installation crew, my experience with Hicks Nurseries was wonderful. Sal is such a nice man; his knowledge was invaluable in helping with our landscape design and he stopped by each day of the 2 day installation to make sure things were running smoothly. From the conception of landscape design plans to job completion, Ken Muellers and his team did a superb job. Ken worked within our budget. Landscaping was done for our front and backyard property. I was specific about a pollinating garden in the backyard to encourage butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds. Ken listened and made wonderful suggestions. Curb appeal is great and our property looks good. Lois in the office was also a great help with communication. We are delighted with Hicks and would recommend them if you are considering any landscape work.

Craig and the Hicks Landscapes design team did an amazing job! Craig the designer and project manager, did a complete renovation of my backyard. He had creative and beautiful ideas on how to address any issues and make the most of the space. The crew, headed by foreman Julio, worked incredibly hard in 90-degree weather, paying attention to every detail. Craig executed the renovation flawlessly, with the landscape, masonry and irrigation/electrical crews all working together seamlessly and completing the projection on schedule. I can't rave enough about the whole experience, and the gorgeous yard I now have!

What a wonderful experience! Starting with our very knowledgeable designer, Peter Hogarty, who listened to what we were looking for and came up with a beautiful design for our home. Being followed by a fabulous crew headed by Julio Pineda. The crew worked diligently. never dreamt they would be so neat, clean, organized, and respectful. They went above and beyond! This was an absolute fabulous experience. We were Hicks fans before, but we are lifers now!

William and his team did an absolutely fantastic job helping me with a redo of my entire property - from picking out the right plants and choosing appropriate locations, to the actual planting. Even after digging the holes, I asked them to adjust several plant locations, including the arborvitae, and they happily accommodated me. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful, and they gave me so much advice about watering and pruning to keep these plants healthy.

I am so completely happy with the whole job from start to finish and will definitely use Hicks again for my next project.

We had a dream of our backyard becoming a small paradise, the kind of paradise you only visit on vacation. We really did not think this was even possible until Craig and the amazing team from Hicks Nursery made the vision a reality. It all began with a meeting with Craig who listened to our vision and everything we hoped it could include. Craig took his creativity, extensive knowledge, and his passion for what he does and returned with a well-planned and detailed design- there was our dream on paper. Craig managed the complex project, and it was with his confidence and obvious dedication that we felt we were in good hands throughout the process. The entire team took the time to make as many visits as needed to make sure everything was completed to perfection, even coming to our house first thing in the morning because we had last minute questions. The entire team had the utmost patience explaining the rationale behind decisions, answering every single question and, above all else, making sure we were happy. It was evident that Craig and his team were devoted to their work as they went above and beyond until the last finishing touches. We are so thankful to all who worked on our project as we now enjoy a slice of paradise in our own backyard!

From the beginning helping us to identify the right plants and finalizing the sale and delivery the Hicks team was knowledgeable, friendly and easy to work with. When William came to do the survey he made some thoughtful suggestions about this planting and made several recommendations for future projects. The crew that planted our bushes was on time, courteous, efficient, neat and tidy. The plants were spaced perfectly and the area well graded and nicely mulched. I could not have been happier with their work. They were also nice too my dogs who naturally had to lend their vocal support.
