We did a partial landscape renovation with Hicks Nursery almost 2 years ago. Tom created a wonderful design for us, and we continued to work with him when we had issues. We felt that we were in the best of hands for the installation, a winter pruning and working with us to replace plant material as needed during this time. Everyone was incredibly knowledgeable and a delight to work with! I am so glad that we had the opportunity to work with the team at Hicks to enhance the beauty of our garden!

We planted the Appalachian Redbud tree in March. The guys who did the work were pros and did a great job. The tree is now starting to bloom in late April and looks great. Peter gave me some advice on watering throughout the year.

We had a small job done by Hicks. We had a small dogwood and some hydrangeas planted. Pepe and his crew did a perfect job. They took their time making sure everything was straight and planted where we wanted them. When they left, it looked like everything was always there. We will definitely use Hicks for any future landscaping. It was a pleasure!

What an amazing job the Hick’s crew has done on our landscaping.i couldn’t be happier with the results . 😊 They have planted 13 arborvitae trees for us to separate our property from our neighbor’s. All the trees they had selected themselves and each one is very healthy. I can’t wait to have them over for the next project!

He designed a Zen garden that is so peaceful in the side yard. The planting team, led by Julio the foreman, did an excellent job. We used Hicks Landscapes for a full redesign of our landscaping and driveway/walkway/patios. We could not be more pleased with the job they did. We met with four different contractors but chose Hicks as we felt more comfortable working with a company a long track record and an excellent reputation. Our main contact (Anthony) was fantastic - easy to work with, honest, and most importantly reliable. I asked numerous landscape designers for an overall plan on my new home which had no landscaping. While others focused on one or two specific areas Peter was the only one to give me a thorough, complete design and a PHENOMENAL one at that. He even defined and coordinated my sprinkler installation with the installer. As of now one of four phases has been completed and everyone at Hicks has been amazing to work with. Peter is awesome!

i had several trees planted. they let me choose my tree from the inventory . Once it was ordered, i was called a few days later to set up a time and day to plant. the workers were on time and did a beautiful job installing and planting the trees and put mulch around the bottom

The team at Hicks designed and installed a gorgeous hardscape and foundation planting in our backyard. We worked with Ken (designer), Sean (project manager), and Alex (foreman). Ken spent a lot of time working with us to understand the desired function and aesthetics of the space. He is an incredibly reliable communicator--it was always clear what was happening on the job on any given day. Sean and Alex tied up a number of loose ends, too, like adding a few shingles where removal of a deck had exposed the house sheathing, and patching asphalt where old brickwork was removed. Everything was tidy and complete when the team left. Finally, the size and health of the plants is impressive, so much so that visitors assume many of the trees and hollies Hicks installed predate the hardscape work. We were lucky enough to get a few late magnolia blossoms from one of the new trees before fall temperatures arrived. We will use Hicks for all future landscaping and tree/shrub purchases.

Hicks delivered what it promised in a timely and professional manner. It's Landscape Designer, Tom Cahill, provided a clear proposal of the work to be done and the team, led by a very competent foreman, delivered on the promise, and then some. Their work was expert, efficient and we expect, over time, will be very effective. As a bonus, they were most agreeable. We recommend them to anyone wishing to improve their home with an abundance of beautiful plants, trees, flowers and overall landscaping color and artfulness.

The Hicks Landscape Design crew did a steller job. My wife and I have a very small patio space, but Peter treated us and our small space with a white glove service. They were on time, very professional, and did the job quickly and really well. They gave us great advice and answered all our questions, as we are new to planting and are pretty clueless. Loved this service and would purchase it again.

Our landcape designer, Tom Cahill, planned a beautiful garden for our yard. The work crew, Julio and team, carefully removed a tree, successfully transplanted older plants in new locations, and planted all the new plants following Tom's design. Everything came out so well and our yard is now so pretty!

The crew from Hicks is absolutely the best!!! We had what I would consider a large project of removing some very mature landscaping and replacing with new plants and trees. Almost redoing the entire property. The guys from Hicks were so professional and courteous, going above and beyond removing all the roots from the old stuff so the new plants and trees could be placed exactly where and how I wanted. Even after things were planted and I took a look, if I wanted something moved just a few inches they accommodated my every request. It turned out beautiful and I got exactly what I wanted. It was a pleasure working with them. Would highly recommend Hicks!!!
