Homes built in conjunction with Iacobucci homes circa 2004-2015 have major water intrusion problem..
Damage to some 20 homes so far range from $11,000 to $40,000. There will be many more as home owners get inspections ($ 800 per) then estimates. Law suits will be forth coming. Terrible situation. Culpability not withstanding..

I bought a house in a new subdivision in 2013. The house was built in 2012 and it is a Colonial. There have been nothing but problems with the home. From the start the nails were popping through the sheet rock, the three way electrical switches don’t work correctly and the argon in certain windows began to cloud. A couple of years later, I noticed a water line in my dining room. Turns out the master bedroom shower was not installed correctly and I had to have my whole dining room ceiling torn out as well as most of the bathroom because of water damage. Their quality is poor, their workmanship is poor and their response is poor. If I could give them a zero I would. I have reported them to the BBB for their horrible work.

John and his team were great to work with. We had somewhat of a situation with our waterline that needed urgent attention. John quickly came out and addressed the problem. He is extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. He was very communicative throughout the entire process. Him and his team did a great job - we would definitely recommend South Hill Group, and I'm sure will be using them again in the future.

Wow! John came to me through Andy and Matt at Cheap Snake (kudos to them, too) when my sewer line from my house to the street was taken over by roots! John was incredibly thorough, professional and knowledgeable...and the best part? He is good folk who was also empathetic to my situation. I have a stone stairway leading to my home and a pretty little garden, and with his 'bursting" method (who knew??)   ensured it would be still in place when done. That was very assuring to me. I also learned much, i could have gone cheaper with lining but with his forever pipe (forgot the technical name), it will last much longer than lining. I consider this an upgrade to my home. If you have an older home with clay pipes it will eventually crack from age or roots. I highly recommend John, he stands by his work, and his crew were good guys, too! Thanks John, I hope I do not need you again lol, but will surely recommend you.

We recently had a problem with water running in the house non stop. Called South Hill Group thought I had a major problem. John came and assessed the problem very quickly. The shut off for our outside water was broken and not stopping the water from going through to the yard which was covered in snow so how could we have known. John Tocco and South Hill Group are a treasure. After years of trying and 3 other attempts with contractors to solve my basement water problems, John came in with his crew and fixed the problem.

I watched him do the work and it is clear he knows what he is doing and knows how to trouble shoot and solve the problem where others failed.

Experience. Hard work. Proper equipment and supplies. He excavated with a mini excavator down to the footing. He sealed the foundation with the proper materials, and he found the source of the leak. He redid the piping system of leaders and drainpipes to get the water away from the house.

All for a price that was reasonable for a large crew of hard working pros who do a great job and work hard to get it done without any delays.

If you have any issues with foundation drainage, John and South Hill is the one to call.

Our house came with a DIY sump pump made out of what appeared to be a litter box with no backflow valve or any of the other features that make a sump pump useful. John came to our house and replaced it with a beautiful new system that works perfectly. It looks great, and he attended to our concerns regarding child safety really well.

He is always very responsive and personable. Recently, after we were concerned that someone had ruined out French drain with spray foam, he came over and checked it out right away, even though he had not installed the French drain. We unequivocally recommend his services!
