Great assessor, problem solver, service/work, and follow-up. John was prompt, easy to work with, professional and respectful. We had an issue in our basement and looks good so far no issues. We’ll see the next big rainstorm how it holds up. John also helped us with our dehumidifiers. We even have him doing so at another house. My family and I will continue to use his services, if he continues to do honest, thorough, professional and great quality work. Thank you, John!

We recently had a sewage back up as the result of a sewer line that was partially collapsed. We were very nervous about the cost and who to trust. We needed it replaced ASAP and by someone we felt comfortable with. John Tucco with the South Hill Group was recommended by our plumber who we trust. John was friendly and gave us a very fair potential cost breakdown from the best to worst case scenarios that could possibly unfold. He answered all of our questions and concerns in detail before and also while he was excavating. His team was clean, courteous and professional. You can barely tell they were here when they left. The best part of the experience was he made every effort to stay on the low end of his estimate and did so successfully. We highly recommend him!

We had South Hill Group replace a failing sewer pipe. Working with John Tocco was a pleasure (well, as much of a pleasure as replacing a sewer pipe can be) --- he is an excellent communicator, was very clear about what the different possibilities were and how the process would work, did not try to upsell us on unnecessary things, and then completed the work quickly and with minimal water usage disruption. Highly recommend.

We discovered a tricky issue with our sewer line, and realized that it was a pretty big job that had to be handled carefully. John helped us to determine that a pipe-bursting method would be best in our situation. John was very knowledgable and patient in explaining every detail of the work, wrote everything up item by item in the contract and went over all the procedures he was going to do. We were nervous because the job entailed digging up the street, but John handled all the permitting, and there was minimal disturbance for the street and for our neighbors. His workers were very fast and skilled, and the job was completed in 3 days. We feel secure in knowing that the work was done very well, and I would highly recommend South Hill Group.

John and his team came to our rescue to excavate and replace a portion of our sewage pipe. While no one wants to replace a sewage pipe, the entire process with them was more enjoyable than we would ever anticipated. John clearly cares about his clients and their projects. Called and spoke to Theo, the son apparently. Nice conversation about the small job I had and was looking for an estimate. Never responded back to my texts and basically ghosted, instead of saying he wasn’t interested or too busy, etc. Not professional at all.

I called Tappan Z for some tile work in one of our bathrooms and they did a outstanding job. They left the area clean and you couldn’t even tell they were there at all. I will definitely be calling them for more work
