A team came over to do the install, which took a couple of days. Finally they scheduled the city inspector to come over and sign off on the quality of the installation. Clear communication and expectations throughout the process. I am on track to make back my $ investment in my roof in less than 4 years total, after that it will be an income producing asset. After one year I haven't had to do any maintenance or otherwise experienced any issues. You get a cellphone app which shows you how much each individual panel is producing, which can help if you are considering pruning trees that start to attenuate your exposure. I don't think about electricity much anymore, because I pay $0 per year, and would be glad to recommend NY Power Solutions and David Kowalsky to any friend or family member. Once we got the permits from the city and we went online, every day it was fabulous to look on our cell phones app, and to see how much electricity we were generating! We had been Con Ed in Yonkers, New York. They are a for profit monopoly and a very greedy company. Thank goodness, we are not depending on them anymore.

I appreciate that David is from the community and he took the time and care to make sure all my skepticism was quelled and that the project made sense for us to do from a cost benefit analysis. Then installation was a quick one-day event which made me happy as well. They installed a monitoring device which shows me the effectiveness of the solar arrays and if/when I have had issues with that, the home office has been very helpful. Overall I am very satisfied with the whole experience and the system is performing just a little bit better than predicted. That’s great!

We used Long Island Power Solutions to design and install a 22 panel 9.3kW rooftop solar system on our home in late 2024. The initial site evaluation was borderline, due to one 100+ year old oak tree in our yard which we refused to cut down or trim to improve our solar output. Our consultant, David Kowalsky, worked repeatedly with us and his engineers to find a solution that could provide sufficient return to justify the project given this tree. We were presented with multiple design options and configurations with accompanying forecast performance results, and we made our choice. We were pleased that in its first full year of production our system slightly exceeded its forecast output, proving out the skills of the design and engineering teams. I can't understate the monthly pleasure at seeing a big fat zero on our electricity bill for monthly usage.

Throughout the process Power Solutions worked closely with us, regarding such things as placement of exterior and interior equipment. The result was an installation with minimal exterior change and convenient internal placement and access. Power Solutions also handled the extensive planning and permitting paperwork with our municipality and with ConEd. Their communication throughout was excellent. I recommend David Kowalsky and Power Solutions without reservation for this kind of work.

We love our solar panels and are so happy we got them. We are even happier that we worked with NY Power Solutions and our sales guy Mike White. First off, we haven’t paid an electric bill in a year. We started saving money as soon as we installed them but it took a couple of years for me to realize what a difference this is making in our lives, particularly as electricity rates seem to be going on daily. Second, the panels are gorgeous. We upgraded on the panels for a small amount of money and gained greater efficiency on their production and they look really cool on our roof. Turns out they have tiny cages underneath the panels to keep critters from moving in, that was a thoughtful feature we hadn’t realized they came with. Third, we feel really proud that we are making so much solar power. We would definitely get more of these in the future if we expand our needs such as with an electric vehicle. Fourth, NY Power Solutions worked with us to avoid cutting down trees which other companies were insisting we do. We ended up buying four more panels which was a lot cheaper than removing more trees and now we have all the power we need and all the trees we wanted to keep. Lastly, Mike has been a gem to work with. He’s a good communicator, very knowledgable, stays in touch, and he kept his word on everything since day one. No surprises except that the whole thing has worked out even better than we’d hoped. Highly recommend.

What started as flickering lights quickly turned into a very stressful situation for my family. Con Edison came out fast, identified a serious issue, and had to shut our power down immediately for safety.

That left me, my wife, and our 4-year-old without heat or power right after a snowstorm in below-freezing temperatures. We had to leave our home and stay in a hotel.

Paul Fattizzi at Fattizzi Electrical was incredible. He acted quickly, fixed the issue within two days, and helped get everything back on track. He worked with Con Ed to inspect and restore power so we could safely return home.

It was a tough experience, but the speed, professionalism, and care made all the difference. Truly grateful for how quickly everything was handled.

These are a great group of hard working guys, and its a shame the customer service. Very hard to correspond with them, and almost impossible to resolve any issues. Phone calls are usually met with numerous "hold on a sec", and emails are never answered. I understand that it is a small business, but this is a must. Paul and his crew did some work - and great work. But after the electrician came to my home, he instructed us to downgrade the work, because what we wanted would meaning tearing down the wall. All we got was a installation of a fan, and paid $350 for it - no wiring - nothing. Trying to resolve has not worked out, to a point where I kissed that money goodbye.

Used Paul to install a GFI- did great job. Called him for a second project on short notice- he was responsive and his guys are always good.
Would only use him- fair, responsive and does good work.
