Great company and quality service! I have used this company for a few years now for oil delivery, and needed my heating system repaired. They serviced my heating system and repaired it in a timely manner. Professional and knowledgeable workers. Honest prices!!! Would highly recommend!!

L&Son's was literally and figuratively a God send! I found them at a time where my family and I had just moved back into the country and we were in the process of starting all over again and were not in a g ood space financially. It was dead in the middle of winter and I reached out to them after being utterly disrespected by this other company that I wish I remembered the name of because I would name them!! L&Son's provide the best customer service (Ms. Sandra) is an Angel! The service is like no other! It's a family business and when you sign on with them you really become family!! Luis and his sons are very respectful, patient and humble! Very reasonable and decent human beings! Thank you L&Son's for your service!

Great customer service, and service technicians are very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend them.

Technician came after hours with the right tools and spare diesel and had heat before they left.

This team is great, they keep me up to date on what is happening every month. They reach out to ask if we need any services every month. And they always respond when there is an emergency very quickly. They maintain my boiler system and handle my refills whenever I need them. On top of that they helped me upgrade my system to be more energy efficient. My heating system works flawlessly thanks to L&Son's team of experts, I have no complaints.

I never leave reviews but for this company, I have time .Go to another company, the after hours service is the worse I have ever experienced I dealt with a man named Luis (owner) ‘ he was extremely rude. We prepaid and it took the company 3 days to come. Luis (owner) sooooo rude and nasty he screamed at us ,& gave attitude when we asked “ can you give us an estimate” I can’t believe what I went through with this company . Extremely traumatizing so run away don’t walk runnn !!!! it’s not worth the stress.
I will never ever pre pay oil ever again from any company due the the awful experience with Luis .
We paid Thursday and didn’t get oil till Saturday after 5pm after he even threaten to not come. Wow just not ok !
My lesson I learned was to purchase strictly from companies in your town with great reviews & also it might be time to get a contract so I don’t have to deal with this stuff . Worse experience ever

Bad experience: The oil delivery driver called to say the police monitoring the traffic and issues from ConEd activity would not let him access my house. I said I would speak to the officer immediately and was sure it would be permitted. He said that he already asked twice. I told him I would ask if he would wait 10 seconds. He said, no. When I asked if should I go with another company or what, he said "okay, byeee" and hung up the phone. I called the company to report the behavior of the driver. They put me on a call with the owner, who placed me in a 3-way with the driver who proceeded to yell at me again and claim that I hung up on him. The owner did not stop the juvenile behavior and did not offer solutions. After the call, I spoke with the officer on the street who said there would be no issue having the oil delivered any time.

Issues with reliability, honesty, and etiquette.

Worst company ever. The delivery guy will come at least a few days after delivery was scheduled for. If you call, they will give you different excuses. Also some customers said they steal gas by not delivering the actual amount you paid for . And looks like the owner is a big liar too, he totally denies having all these customers who gave bad reviews.

I am extremely disappointed with this company’s lack of professionalism and basic human decency. I spoke with a woman over the phone on Saturday, who confirmed my oil delivery would be made on Monday. Monday came and went, but no delivery was made.

When I called to follow up, hoping to get some clarity or resolution, the woman I spoke to asked for my name and address, only to forward my call to a voicemail without explanation. I tried calling multiple times afterward, and a man finally picked up, but he didn’t let me speak—he only said, “Let me call you later.” That call never came.

I left two voicemails, simply asking for confirmation on whether or not the delivery was happening, as I needed to make alternate plans if it wasn’t. In the middle of extremely cold weather, with children in the house, they left us without heat because when I called on Saturday I was already at 1/4.

Their lack of communication, responsibility, and compassion is unacceptable. All they had to do was the job they advertise. Instead, they failed to deliver and ignored every attempt to reach them. I will never use their service again and strongly warn others to steer clear.

Terrible company. I recieved oil from this company in the past and the delivery guy was so nasty i changed to another company. My neighbor told me about her dangerous situation from the company today. The owner is disrespectful and happens to be the same driver we've had in the past that caused us to switch. My neighbor has him on video frustrated during delivery. He has no interest in even the slighted resolution. My neighbors tanks now proped up against the wall leaning with the possibility of it tipping over with a massive oil spill. I will take this over to social media.

Do NOT trust L & Sons (Yonkers) oil delivery from these guys!!! They are charging you for X number of gallons and not putting that amount in your tank!!! Probably stole 30 gallons off me. TOTAL THIEFS-STAY AWAY!!!
What I ordered would have given me a FULL tank from a reputable company. BEWARE!!

Always wonderful service no matter if it snows or rain the oil always gets delivered wonderful clean oil that burns completely clean thank you so much keep up the good work Happy Thanksgiving coming up to everybody be safe make money and God bless

STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES

This company is full of CROOKS! I did not look at the reviews when ordering heating oil from this company, but now I can attest to all these horrible reviews and I have just experienced the same as many of these reviewers.

I always order 200 gallons of heating oil and on 2/19/2024 I ordered from them and delivery was done on 2/21/2024. I was at work when it was delivered. Once I got home I checked the gauge to see if it was full to see if oil was delivered and noticed the gauge was showing the tank is only 3/4 of the tank full instead of showing full at the indicator.

I immediately contacted the company and
I spoke to Chris and explained that I’m missing 1/4 of a tank of the oil, he said let me check the ticket and he immediately said we delivered 200 gallons!
We went back and forth and he hung up on me.
I called the following morning bright and early to speak to a manager and she said let me look at the tickets, I said Chris looked at the tickets last night, she said that is impossible because the tickets were not here. I said how does this make sense. Chris said he reviewed tickets you say it is impossible he seen the tickets.

She said I will call you right back of course she didn’t call me so at 3 pm I called her again and she said “ she still does not have the tickets but she heard that 200 gallons were delivered. A total LIE!
I am reporting them to BBB as well and I hope this helps others to STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

My husband notice the boiler was pushing against the plywood board under the stairs where the oil tank is located the day after delivery from this company. It was not like this the day before and we've been getting oil all winter. We called to see if they could come jack the tank up and push it back. The receptionist was very nice and transfered me to the driver. The driver was very disrespectful. I handed the phone to my husband to further explain to the man who said he's the owner. He stated he has nothing to do with the problem and got very disrespectful. We noticed he was very upset during his delivery because he had to go around the pergola to get to the open access. We have camera in the backyard recording his frustration. He's claiming it's an old tank and thats the cause but we've been getting oil all winter with no issues. We didn't even request to replace the tank. We only wanted to get it lifted onto a temporary wood block for safety. Now we have the potential of the tank falling over with a huge oil spill. A very dangerous situation. The owner of this company was very disrespectful to me and my husband. Cursed us out and said never call this company again and hung up on us. This is a multifamily home with multiple family's with children. We have multiple homes he delivers to and will no longer use L and Son. Horrible business owner. No customer service experience. We also reported to the BBB and if no resulotion, we have move forward with legal actions. Looking at his most recent reviews, we should have never used this company. Do your own research on this company!

Ordered online from cashheating oil. Missed a phone call as I was on another call. Immediately called back and left a message confirming. They canceled the order and now a huge storm is coming. Never order from them!!!
