I was once a long time customer close to 10 years until the owner began to make changes that were not contractual, as in a withdrawal from my bank account without authorization of which he deemed it an monetary hold prior to the actual billing I received two days later after oil delivery, it is an insult insinuating l am not able to cover the cost, I am a homeowner, not an section eight NYCHA inhabitant, within all the years mentioned with this company; there were no issues of non payments, it was always paid in full the same day of delivery.
During our conversation on the phone the owner rudely told me to find another supplier, I am a retired Paralegal who was more then happy to move on to an reputable oil supplier.

POST SCRIPT: I agree with a few reviews, I should have done more intensive research prior to doing business with said company, warning, proceed at your own risk.

Buyer Beware,
At first great customer service, great oil delivery. Then after the 1st year HORRIBLE. All of a sudden they started shorting me on the oil delivery. I ordered a certain amount as I always do. Then when the oil delivered the driver stops putting in the correct amount. & filling the rest of line with air to mimic the rest of delivery. So it will say on your ticket what you ordered, but give you less oil. When I look at the needle on the boiler it's on "E" when I got a delivery that same day. I was only given enough oil for 2 weeks!

Keep in my mind I'm a single woman with a elderly mother living with me. You know how hard it is to make ends meet on a LIMITED INCOME. Working so HARD & get CHEATED. With a elderly woman in a COLD HOUSE!.

Awful experience. I placed an oil delivery (cashheatingoil) order on 2/21. On 2/24, I called to inquire about the delivery and was told the delivery would happen that day, and it never arrived. It’s now 2/25, and I still haven’t received anything. I called multiple times — one representative said they would call me back and never did.

This level of inconsistency and lack of communication is extremely unprofessional.

After dealing with several oil companies and spotty service I came to L&Son more than 5 years ago, and it was the best decision I have made. They are always on point, whenever I have called for oil they give me a day and they have never let me down. If anybody has ever forgotten to check their oil tank on a regular only to find you need oil immediately this is the best company you can use. Everybody there is extremely friendly and after a while it just feels like I'm ordering oil from my friend. I say give them a shot I think you'll like them.

I requested an estimate for a heat pump installation, spoke to them several times, made clear that I had to travel a significant distance to meet them, and waited 1.5 weeks for a 10am appointment — just to be certain. The morning of the appointment, while I’m in the car heading to meet them, they cancel. The only explanation was “he said he has to go to the Bronx now.” They try to reschedule for yet another week out. No thanks. If this is how they treat me when I’m trying to give them business, I can’t imagine how I’d be treated once they already have my money. Thanks for wasting my time.

A very professional and experienced technician installed my unit. I am very pleased with their services. I would recommend them to anyone is interested in getting a dual AC/heating unit.

Tofael was very knowledgeable of the size of the heat pumps that will serve the cooling and heating area to be covered. Three compressors and seven air handlers were neatly installed by his team in 5 hours. No problems encountered during the testing sequences. I will highly recommend this HVAC contractor for a job well done.

Excellent Job very professional the split is a very good brand

Gree Mechanicals did a great job installing HVAC system into our house. They are very knowledgeable and efficient in their work and finished applying everything in 3 days. Mr. Tufayel, Forhad, and Simon were very helpful and responsible, they explained and answered all my questions. They suggested the best places to install the units and walked me through the whole process. Everything is working properly and I am very happy with their service and highly recommend them.

Getting the split units was one of the best decisions I’ve made. Was able to get rid of the heavy radiators from my house and make plenty of room in the house. Everything was great with this experience.

Iam extremely unhappy and frustrated with the customer service provided by Gree Mechanical. It’s been approximately 1 yr since I had 8 mini split heat pumps installed in my home. I’ve had issues with the workmen who required oversight to ensure the cleanliness of my home was preserved and damage did not occur. The work done was haphazard and unprofessional. A tripping hazard was created in my basement when my boiler was decommissioned. When I complained I was told I shouldn’t worry because it’s the basement. Responses to problems are not handled promptly if at all. Frequently calls are not returned and the business owners are unavailable when calls are answered. Solutions offered to rectify problems with the malfunctioning of one the units I purchased are inadequate leaving me with a unit that is useless with no recourse. I’ve been waiting over 2 months to have one of the other units purchased repaired. More recently phone calls are unanswered with calls going directly to voicemail. Text messages are unanswered as well.
Do not be misled by the pleasant nature of Simon and his brother. This business should not be approved by Con Edison as a reputable company for insallation of mini split heat pumps that qualifies for the rebate Con Edison offers. I would not recommend this business to anyone who expects high quality professional service!

Simon bhai was a pleasure to work with. His team did a great job of installing mini splits at my house. The workers were professional and courteous. They took care of the rebate with Con Edison. I would recommend GREE Mechanical Yonkers to everyone.

Really liked this company. They came and did an initial inspection of the house to provide the quote. Installation was the same week.. team was very friendly and knowledgeable. These units were installed right in time for the summer heat wave. for those that don’t have one. I recommend getting one right away. You will be happy you did
