So, I was called by corporate from a woman who was very rude and who TRIED to accuse me of stealing from them since I canceled my payment after their maid stole from my house. I mean we are having this convo because your employee came into my house and stole from my wife and kid. Steal from me? Here's some money. I insist. Yes, I canceled my payment..and let's not forget after I called and left voicemails and emails, they still tried to charge my card even before calling me back to resolve the theft problem. I did get a refund of another cleaning I will give them credit for. Having stopped a payment I have recovered 250 out of 300+. I do want to clarify this review should not reflect on all their employees as they do employ hardworking individuals, just the company they work for. Having spoken with this woman from corporate, it is obvious they are a slimy company who uses and abuses its employees and they have no regard for them or the customer. They care about money plain and simple. Amber is free to keep stealing from you guys until they can notice a pattern. Hide your clothes, makeup, sneakers, jewelry and anything she can carry.

It is a shame I cannot leave negative star because, this place, especially the maid Amber, fully deserve it. First, I want to say I am not the type to leave reviews most certainly not bad ones because let's face it people are human and things happen. I hired Merry maids 4 weeks ago to come clean my house 2 times a month. They showed up on time 3 times, did a decent job, although not perfect. As I said, I'm not going to split hairs and it was good enough. This is where the issue starts. We started to miss things around the house, make-up, clothes, jewelry, etc. My daughter who is 11 was hit the hardest. Guys, I'm serious.. she legit went shopping in her room. She stole 3 pairs of American Eagle jeans, two under armor yoga pants, a pair of Yolicious-lux yoga Pants, 3 Brandy Melville shirts, 2 gold necklaces, and countless makeup supplies including mascara, foundation, and the like from both my wife and daughter. What makes this even trashier, is the clothes she stole were my daughter birthday gift I bought her the month before (March) for her birthday. It is already disgusting, and pretty low to steal from a kid, but to take her birthday gifts? That's just horrible on levels I cannot express. An adult stealing from children is pathetic, even more so in their own house. So, I tried to be professional and I called merry maids in Aberdeen and left 2 messages, only to be ignored. If she is stealing from a kid, I can guarantee she is stealing from other customers with no regard. So, Merry Maids, I canceled my card, and am taking the 125 to help repurchase the stolen items. It was awesome of you to try to charge my card after I called and left you messages about what happened. Then, you didn't bother to call after you realized it would not go through. Why? Because you knew I would have choice words when you called, so you chose the route of ignoring me which is cool. Amber, you cost your job 250 a month and yourself 30 bucks a cleaning as a tip for a few hundred bucks in clothes and such. What makes this perfect is that I KNOW you stole the items, as NO ONE has been in my house aside from those who live here and of course, you. I am not mad but am highly disappointed in the lack of professionalism on Amber the thief/maids part, but more so on merry maids and their lack of caring. So, please everyone who is considering using their services, DO NOT. If you do, hide everything. If its stolen, Merry Maids will not care. BTW, Amber, the mascara you stole... my daughter doesn't use it because her friend had bacterial conjunctivitis, AKA pink eye and used it a few days before. You're welcome. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE. I have also contacted corporate, and of course, no response.

Awesome job after refinishing my hardwood floors! Fine silt/dirt all over my walls, baseboards, and crown molding! Went beyond my expectations! Highly recommend!

I was very happy with Anjenette's work! It was very thorough and quickly done. My property manager was very impressed with the house's condition at my move-out inspection!

Absolutely terrible service. We paid almost 400$ for a moveout clean, to have them not clean the walls, not clean the window sills or jambs, to leave fingerprints and marks on the doors, cobwebs everywhere, cleaning residue in the bathrooms, grit on the kitchen counters, dirt on the baseboards and in the corners by appliances - and they refused to clean the lint of of the dryer. On top of all of that terrible, when the landlord called and spoke to a woman named Courtney, she was incredibly rude to him and it took him arguing with her to get them to come back out. She and a maid came out and I met them and the landlord at the property and went over what needed to be fixed. I came back today to replace lightbulbs, and guess what: still dirty. Walls still have cobwebs. Floors still have dirt. Doors still have fingerprints. The shower liners have dust and dirt all along the top edges. I now will have to spend hours out here to clean what we paid 400$ to have done. Twice. CG is getting an email about their service, they should be blacklisted. DO NOT USE. I would give them zero stars if google let me.

Amber was highly courteous and respcecful. She did a SUPERIOR job, one that wasn't easy. She did things that I would never have expected.
I am more than pleased and satisfied. I hope that Amber will come for my next cleaning.

Merry Maids is great! I was entirely reliant on them to keep my house in shape during and after my pregnancy. Adriana is fantastic, she cleaned all of the things that I never seem to get around to doing myself!

Alondra and Jose did an amazing job. Very professional with a great eye for detail. will ask for them personally again.

My Merry Maid experience was wonderful. The products they use have a wonderful, pleasant fragrance. They must be very effective, in spite of our two dogs best efforts the dark hardwoods have stayed clean. We cannot wait for our "Merry Maid" to return, her professionalism and sweet nature was so welcoming and appreciate.

the first lady came and was at my house for over 2 hours and didn't clean anything so I had to call and make a complaint and send pictures as proof. Also she left my personal cleaning products out all over my house. THANK GOODNESS my young children didn't find them before I did!!!

the second lady they sent was absolutely lovely I will request her every time in the future.

They need to have more than one person available to answer the phones. I've called almost everyday in the past week trying to get another cleaning done and it keeps going to voicemail everytime

Monica does a thorough job house cleaning. Very nice person to have to come to your house to clean.

I contacted Merry Maids to learn more about their services offered and their prices. After talking with them and learning of the services (lots) they offer and the prices (very good in my opinion) I decided to sign up. I am having them go bi-weekly to clean a house for my grandmother. They did the first service today, they arrived on-time and did everything in a timely manner. I called and checked in with my grandmother and she said they did a really good job. I am pleased with the warm, friendly, inviting attitude of the people I have had the pleasure of speaking with and the ease of setting up the service. I definitely recommend them if you are looking for friendly people with reasonable prices.

I was lucky to meet a young woman today that was brave enough to come into my home and do what I have not been able to do in over in 2 years. She cleaned my , and did an excellent job. I live with my boyfriend , and three indoor dogs so my home was in need of attention. She did a great job my home free, lots less dust and. On top everything she was pleasant, very nice and made me fell very comfortable. Until I can clean my own home I will depend on Merry Maids.

I need to take a moment and say Merry Maids of Aberdeen has been amazing. From administration working with me to find the BEST housekeeper in the world to the flexibility and love and care everyone has shown myself, my husband, my PETS- they’re all fantastic. Cannot recommend them enough. My CHIHUAHUA adores our housekeeper and literally runs outside to greet her. We have zero complaints and hope to partner with Merry Maids for years to come.

I have used Merry Maids for 14 years - 10 in Durham, NC and now 5 in Aberdeen. NC. I appreciate their honesty and the cleaning team does a great job. I highly recommend Merry Maids as each office is locally owned!

Was supposed to have our first appointment with them and moved around my schedule to ensure I was there to receive them. Time comes and no word. 30 minutes passes the given window and we finally get a message saying their team has been "sick" and couldn't make it?? Knowing this the day prior would've been fine. Even early in the morning I mightve understood but Hearing this during the time of the appointment is just unprofessional and a waste of my time. Won't be reaching out for their services in the future.

Contracted this company to “deep clean” a room in my house after my adult kids moved out that I had previously wiped down myself. The lady on the phone agreed to everything I asked for, had me prepay, then when the cleaners showed up. They finished in 20-30 minutes and basically did a quick wipe down. When I asked about the service, they stated “oh we don’t do that”.

Crystal cleans our family life center at our church and does a great job !! She works hard to keep it clean and got some bad stains out of our bathroom sinks . It’s a big building and we appreciate her.

Kim (from the Aberdeen) office is my housekeeper, and I am so impressed with her. She’s very personable, and she does an outstanding job cleaning our home. Kim is detail-oriented, hard working and goes out of her
way to ensure we are happy with her service.
There’s none better, and I hope I never lose her as my housekeeper. Thank you Kim!

Mow and Blow ONLY!! Have to ask repeatedly to have hedges and bushes trimmed (extra cost). Weed killer and prevention not included and must be scheduled. This is an extra cost as well.

The team at Height's are fantastic! I had peace of mind in knowing my yard would be maintained during my time away from home. When central NC was hit with a ice storm, Height's Yard Service demonstrated incredible professionalism and promptness when they reached out shortly after the storm to schedule a clean-up. They were there the next day! Without them I would have massive tree branches still scattered across my yard and driveway. I would recommend Height's to anyone in the area!
