Nothing but good things to say about Baker Roofing. The project for which I hired Baker was not your typical roofing and siding project. This will be a bit long but the back story is part of what made this a great experience.

I have an older home built in the 70s that had a stucco exterior. About 1 year ago I started contacting roofers about replacement as the roof was over 20y old. I spoke with at least six companies. One thing they all noted was difficulties I would face with properly installing a new roof with a full warranty due to the way the stucco had been literally brought down to cover a good portion of the shingles in several places on the roof. The companies fell into two categories 1) never called me back or 2) told me I need to somehow address the stucco at the same time. Baker was one of only 2 companies willing to work on this project, at all.

After my wife and I spent weeks/months deliberating over what to do we decided it was time to get rid of the (cracking, uneven, and overall not nice looking) stucco and do a full roofing and siding project. David Frawley was the sales rep I worked with at Baker. My interactions with him were one of the biggest reasons I chose Baker for the project. This was not a short sales process. It started in December 2021 and we didn’t sign with Baker until May 2022. David was at my home at least 5 times while trying to figure out a solution for my project and to answer my questions. He was not pushy and allowed me to take the approach of calling him when I was ready to move forward. Was really a great experience.

The project started in October because of its scale and amount of materials required. At the start we had a project manager named Josh who was on top of things from day one. This project required tearing stucco from the house, installing OSB (which the house lacked under the stucco) and then installing James Hardie siding, and of course a roof. Josh was easy to contact and had a genuine interest in making sure our extremely non-standard project was done correctly. About half way through the project Josh left the company and Robert Allen took over. With the project re-assigned to Robert he had to deal with the toughest part which was seeing it through to completion. The transition was as seamless as I could have hoped. I never felt like the project was dangling during the transition and Robert jumped in as though the project had been his all along.

The stucco demo and siding installation was done by professionals named Ivan and Oscar. I couldn’t be happier with the work they did. Typically when I have work done on my home I walk around and find things I’m unhappy with. This is not the case with the work they did. I will also say that I received compliments from a neighbor on how well Ivan and Oscar worked together and that they were very methodical but efficient. Another non-standard thing that had to be dealt with was the fact that the stucco had adhered to the brick and cinder block foundation. Removal caused the surface of the blocks to look uneven, especially near the entrance of the house. I asked about this and another Baker employee Wayne Stanfield who had also been on site several times offered to come by and smooth things out with some mortar mix. Not at all expected as part of the project but much appreciated as it looks great. The roof was installed by Hernan. This involved removing all of the roof decking and full shingle replacement. This also looks great. As the roof was going on I could see that they were paying particular attention to potential trouble spots that all houses have.

Things wrapped up about a month ago and everything looks amazing! Would work with Baker again without question.

Baker Roofing replaced our entire roof 10 years ago and did an excellent job. Today's review is for their continued exceptional service.

About three weeks ago (in the evening), we heard and confirmed that rain was dripping into our gas fireplace. I went to the attic and saw rain slowly sliding down the metal flue/chimney.

We called Baker Roofing the next morning and they came out that day to check on the cause. They found that the caulking around the cap of the chimney was brittle and some pieces had basically eroded over time. This was NOT something they touched when installing our roof, but despite that, they sent someone out the same day to re-caulk that area. And they didn't charge us a penny for it. This was above and beyond what we expected, but it's the kind of service you can expect from Baker Roofing.

Going back to the roof...We had three bids done at the time of replacement and they were right in the middle of pricing and we're so glad we went with them. We highly recommend Baker Roofing.

After I couldn't find someone local to take on my job, I reached out to Baker. The quality of the work is absolutely top notch and I can't imagine better customer service. The sales rep — Steven Bartz — was so generous with his time and information. I don't know why anyone would choose to work with another roofing company. Even if Baker's estimate might be higher than another company, it is still a much better value.

Jacob, Octavio and Ruth were a very professional. From the first step till the end very consistent with schedule, communication and installation. I could not be happier with my new windows. I would highly recommend Baker.

We were so pleased with all things Baker! From the start of the proposal to the end of the project, Baker was everything we hoped for in a professional company. They removed the old, faded siding on the front of our home and replaced it with stone. They covered our landscaping and the project was clean at the end of each work day. When I initially spoke to Andy Tart, he seemed genuine. I could tell that he was very confident in the quality of work that Baker Roofing company provides. We had some water damage beneath where the original door had been installed because it wasn't sealed properly so we were really concerned about quality.

When the work started, Robert Allen and Marcos Jimenez took their time installing the new door and replacing the damaged crawlspace beneath the door. Along with that, Marcos went the extra mile and painted the trim to ensure our new door was aesthetically pleasing as well.

After an oak tree fell on our house we called our insurance company, then we called Baker Roofing. They arrived at our home the next day, ready and willing to help. Our damage was prioritized and within two weeks the roof was repaired and collateral damage addressed. We recently completed a full exterior remodel with Baker, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The project included Hardie plank siding, new soffits and fascia, closing up gable vents, adding new sheathing and barrier to the roof, shingles, drip edge, and all new gutters with flashing. The transformation is incredible—our home looks stunning, is more energy-efficient, and much easier to maintain than our old Masonite and roof.

The team was exceptional every step of the way. Dave Frawley, our salesman, was fantastic to work with—always responsive and quick to follow up if we had questions. Luke Koehler, the project manager, ensured everything was done on time and to the highest standard, frequently visiting the site to oversee progress. Marcos Jiménez, our installer, demonstrated remarkable craftsmanship, and Bruce Liner, the window tech, was a true professional.

Our window replacement was fantastic and they look great! Project Manager Jacob was excellent. He was on sight everyday and kept us updated on all timelines. He was very professional and personable. We used Baker Home Exteriors to replace siding, windows, doors and to add a front porch railing system. From the initial appointment with Stephen to the final walk around with Allston, our project manager, the overall experience was better than excellent. We recently had our siding and roof replaced by Baker Roofing. The estimates I received from them were competitive with other companies. Project Manager Pete Mandic kept us informed on every step of the siding project and addressed all my concerns - from moody electrical outlets to insane squirrel problems. Alex was very knowledgeable about repairs and was upfront about any problems they found and how to fix them. It was very important that it was done right. We found active leaks during the siding project and moved ahead with replacing the roof. Pete made some intermediary repairs so that we didn’t have any additional damage before we could get on the schedule. Robert Holt was the roofing project manager and worked us in about a month earlier than I expected. The roofing team did an excellent job, finished quickly, and left a clean area.

Baker Home Exteriors did an outstanding job on our chimney repair. Kelly, Joey and Israel were very professional, as was the rest of the team. We'll definitely use Baker the next time we need any of the services they provide.
