Electrical reviews in Apex, North Carolina

Our Capital rep, Avery Hill, provides excellent and expeditious support. We call him and he is on it. Worry free! We also enjoy the convenient class curriculum offered. We have taken advantage of these classes several times. Thank you Capital Electric!

They are unorganized and very slow act like we owe them a favor when we are the customer.

Something is SERIOUSLY WRONG with how they're running their shop. I tried to order hundreds of dollars worth of wire here - TRIED - but they kept promising it would come in, promising they'd call, and I'd never get the call. Everytime I'd call them back to ask where my order was, I'd give them my name and it was the same story : "Who are you? Whu'd you order? Who'd you talk to?" Gave up after three days, told them I'd get it somewhere else. Unbelievable.

Excellent customer service. Friendly and easy to deal with.
-
Very slow, don’t go here unless you order day in advance.
Service is terrible. -
Great company very professional 👍 only problem is that there are not enough stars to properly rate this company.
-
All of the 4 and 5 stars reviewed below are people who work there (don't listen to that).
Completely unprofessional and totally pathetic organization. -
very professional company ! they were on time for everything and they did an amazing job. if you need high quality work done and quickly I definitely recommend laneheart.

I moved into a house built in 2006 and this contractor did the electrical and what a poor job they did. House is only 14 years old and light switches and receptacles need replacing already--receptacles are loose and yellowing and switches are broken where the hot wire connects. All of the ceiling boxes are too loose for fans. A kindergartener could have picked better locations for the outlets and switches. Circuits are an unorganized mess and often have receptacles and lights on the same run. If you want a cheap electrician that doesn't take pride in their work then these guys are for you.

The first time they were supposed to show up, they didn’t. We built a new home and paid for prewire ceiling fans. They did not install one correctly so the ceiling fan we had installed was loose and wobbly. I put an order in since is was under warranty and “Linda” called me and said we will have to charge you to take your fan down and put it back up. Why do I have to pay for your mistake? She specifically wrote on what I had to sign in big letters “DO NOT PUT FAN BACK UP”. I honestly think that is beyond poor service. If they made the mistake, they should go above and beyond to make things right. I definitely would not recommend this small hearted company to anyone. I should not have to pay an electrician to install the fan, then them to take it down and put it back up correctly.

This company is extremely professional and got the job done quickly and efficiently. The electrical wire powering my downstairs AC/furnace unit went out, and they were able to come and fix the issue on the same day that I called them. Very grateful to Raleigh Lanehart Electric for fixing the problem, as the summer season is about to start.

I bought a home with KB homes and KB uses this company as part of their electrical sub contractors.
I had a warranty issue (electrical issue) that needed to be fixed. The techs were not equipped or prepared for the job. In one case slapping the outlet (you can’t make this up).
On top of the what in the world service, the techs were extremely unprofessional and rude. The techs would not communicate in English and when I asked probing and clarifying questions when I would get some sort of answer the tech wouldn’t know how to respond. I asked “when can I get this replaced”? No answer. So I pulled up and used google translate because the other tech was relaying all information in Spanish. When the transcript generated I noticed the “professional” wasn’t talking about anything referencing electric in reference to me.
I’ve had bad service, but, after this experience I’m worried my house could burn down. These guys are in my opinion clowns and are not fit for the job.
Avoid. Use at your own risk. -
Fabulous panel shop! Great people to work with and very knowledgeable.

SEI services are excellent. The staff understands the power requirements of our power distribution box and made replacements as needed. I will continue to use SEI services

SEI has been fabulous from start to (almost) finished! Matt has been our electrician and is smart, efficient and has a great eye for details. He's helped us solve problems created by other contractors, and offered alternatives that brought a better outcome. SEI overall has been great to work with, schedule flexibility, billing and follow ups. Inspections are a breeze. Other contractors come in and comment on the quality and skill of Matt's installation / wiring. Our project is a little outside the normal, but we are lucky to have found a great company, and specifically, a great electrician in Matt.

My first call or stop when I'm in the neighborhood, because the people there are generally awesome.

Anthony was great! He is very thorough and took the time to explain to process to me step by step.
-
This guy is unreal. Very polite and timely. I had four or 5 different things, completely unrelated and he took care of them all. He does a good job and I still use all appliances to this day

On time and reliable. I was in the process of moving out and had bunch of work to do. He definitely made my life easier. I was recommended by a friend. I would recommend to anyone!
