Triangle Home Solutions rebuilt our old weathered deck. Jen was very responsive with the scheduling. Chuck and his team did fantastic work and were meticulous and thoughtful. The entire project was well planned, and didn't require any last minute changes or expenses. Any future projects we will see if they are available first - I highly recommend them.
Update - I am now a repeat customer. We used them recently to do the largest remodel I've ever done. They did a complete kitchen overhaul, as well as flooring in the entire downstairs. We had a few snags with vendors, but Chuck's team worked to minimize the impact on the overall schedule. We threw in a few curveballs ourselves, adding some painting and an unforecast light fixture upgrade. In every case, they accommodated us, and the new kitchen layout is fantastic. -
We absolutely loved working with Chuck to install a new roof on our back porch and turn our screened in porch in to a 3-season room with Eze-Beeeze! Chuck also personally did a beautiful custom built in for us with his wife Jen. Communication was always clear and proactive. Every crew cleaned up and timing was thoughtful around our family schedule. I can’t recommend them enough. We plan to use them again in the future.

Chuck and his team were professional and skilled. They renovated our unfinished attic and added a half bath. The work was done within a reasonable amount of time and we are very happy with the quality. We highly recommend Triangle Home Solutions!

Chuck with Triangle Home Solutions was a reliable professional to work with. Chuck and his crew have depth of knowledge and a breadth of experience. Each step along the way was carried out with professionalism and skill. When we had questions, Chuck would get back to us usually within a day and quite often within an hour. The only negative experience I had was the timing of when work was supposed to start, but that was due to some miscommunications and not worth removing a star for. I will be reaching out to Triangle Home Solutions in the future for additional projects.
Work done: Bathroom remodel. Demolished existing full bathroom and convert to a half bath and laundry. Bathroom had tile up the wall and across the floor on a concrete slab, including a half wall for the shower stall. Removed half wall, old tile, cleaned cement floor, pulled sheetrock, modernized plumbing and wiring, put down new sheetrock and tile, painted walls/ceiling, installed new toilet, sink, and fixtures. Chuck handled all permitting and inspections. Part of the remodel included the installation of the transom window seen in pictures. -
Chuck and his team recently completed a comprehensive remodel of our entire home, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. From our initial consultation before we even purchased the property to the final touches on our dream home, Chuck's expertise and commitment to our vision were evident every step of the way.
The project scope was extensive: we completely revamped our HVAC system, replaced flooring throughout, and bravely removed two walls to integrate our kitchen and dining room seamlessly into the living area. Additionally, we raised our living room ceiling, transforming the space into an airy, inviting environment that far exceeded our expectations.
Two of the standout features of our remodel was the expansion of the kitchen and of our small bathroom into a luxurious master bath.
Without hesitation, we would recommend Chuck, Jen and team for any remodeling project. -
Chuck Penfield and his team built a 450 sq. ft. addition to our home in Clayton. We are very happy with the work that they did.
Chuck was very friendly, professional, and clearly cared about doing the job right. He kept me informed throughout the project and delivered excellent results. His tradesmen were top-notch, with great attention to detail.
The project was completed ahead of schedule. It's hard to find contractors you can trust, and I would absolutely recommend him to others. -
Chuck came to do an initial walkthrough and I was very impressed and excited to work with him. He told me he'd send me an estimate the next day. A week later, I emailed him about it, and he said he was on vacation and would get to it soon. Another week later, he emailed me to say he no longer had time to do the project. I asked for a referral to another contractor and he never responded. I understand that scheduling issues arise, but I feel like he handled it in an unprofessional manner and was disappointed in the service I received.

As a licensed plumbing contractor committed to delivering professional and code-compliant work across North Carolina, we’re disappointed in our recent experience working with Triangle Home Solutions. We were brought in to support a multi-phase residential plumbing project and completed roughly 90% of the scope of work before being terminated abruptly without warning or opportunity to correct concerns. Throughout the project, communication from Triangle Home Solutions was inconsistent and often reactive. Despite repeated efforts to coordinate schedules and clarify priorities, we were met with fragmented direction and limited responsiveness. Following our dismissal, we were asked to reimburse over 70% of the contracted sum, despite the majority of work being completed. This request was accompanied by a threat of negative publicity should we choose not to comply. We chose not to participate in what we believe to be an unprofessional and unethical approach to conflict resolution. We fully acknowledge that construction environments are dynamic and sometimes challenging. However, the foundation of a successful project rests on mutual respect, consistent communication, and a shared commitment to integrity. In this case, that foundation eroded, not through the quality of our labor, but through a breakdown in communication and professionalism from the general contractor.
