J & D Tree Pros were life savers! They were super responsive after hours, great communicators, amazingly professional and personable, and did the job exactly how I wanted. We've used several competitors in the past, but with our recent experience with J & D Pros, I learned they are the tree company for me. Thank you J & D Tree Pros team!!

I highly recommend J&D Tree Pros for any tree work needed. March we noticed a very large sweetgum tree leaning towards our house. We have had trees removed multiple times but never something this big.we had 3 companies come out to quote and all 3 were within $100. Todd Gailas withJ&D came out and explained not only how they could remove it without using our driveway but also at my request evaluated several other trees I was concerned with and showed me how he could tell they were healthy. The estimate was prompt and we were put on the schedule. all 3 companies were busy so scheduling looked about 2-3 weeks out. Todd independently came back a day or so later to relook at the tree and with storms in the forecast bumped us up and came back the following day to remove it. His crew was amazing! Prompt, professional and very efficient. The process was amazing, they worked seamlessly together and neighbors even came out to watch. They left the area cleaner than when they arrived! We could not have been more pleased and definitely slept better once the tree was removed. Thank you so much to the whole team at J&D tree pros for taking care of this and doing an amazing job.

The J&D guys do a great job. Best thing is not dropping trees in your yard or on the house. Scheduling was a little funny - but it got done in a reasonable timeframe

JD Tree Pros did a great job at removing three large trees from my property. It was a very complicated project that involved lifting two of the trees over the house! The crew completed the project safely, quickly and very professionally.

We had a massive oak tree split while we were out of town. I called J&D, they came out that night and accessed the tree, they kept me informed. The next day they had a 120 ton crane took the tree down and cleaned up all debris. They were easy to work with.

I live in the woods surrounding Jordan Lake. In the past 30 years I have had the need for tree removal numerous times. From Hurricane Fran until today.

I Called J & D and they sent out Barney, a certified arborist to do the quote for tree removal.

Barney was very knowledgeable and put together a reasonable quote. It was not an emergency.

About 3 days later 3 guys showed up. They cut down the tree with no problem and proceeded to cut it onto small logs. They carried the logs by hand about 40 feet in to the woods that surround my home, at my request, where they were out of sight.
They then proceeded to clean up the area and did a very good job.

They were quick and efficient and were finished in about 45 minutes.
What more can you ask for?

A good friend recommended J & D Tree Pros to me, and I am very glad he did. I had two large sweetgums in front of my house and two overgrown cryptomeria behind. They came, surveyed the situation, made recommendations, and then provided a very professional proposal. When the crew arrived, they set up the crane, went to work, and removed the four trees with no damage to my home or yard. After cleaning up, leaving the yard looking better than before they got there, they were gone in under two hours. A few days later, they showed up and ground down the stumps. Outstanding service! I would highly recommend this company!

Excellent work. They worked with us to expedite a job removing two trees, pruning 2 more, and stump grinding. I was amazed how efficient their crew was. All residual debris from the job was promptly removed. Staff were courteous and respectful. I especially appreciated the pricing transparency that was provided to me prior to being quoted. Definitely recommend!

Dan of the famous J&*D* Tree Pros biz has got to be one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of doing business with. I had some trees that were 'this close' to falling into my neighbors yard and when Dan saw the pics I sent he came over the same day.
I found them through a recommendation from my regular tree guy who admitted that the job was way too big for most tree services so he recommended J&D.
They were super professional, highly competent and 100% reliable. Only caveat is the price. It was expensive BUT I was told that J&D Tree Pros was the only tree service that could handle this really big job. They used a crane (I think it was 90 ton!)
I'm sure I could've gotten a better deal but I'm also sure I wouldn't have gotten the same perfect results.
If you want it done right just suck up the price and be thankful you've got a home equity line of credit ;)

This is the 3rd time we have used J&D Tree Pros, so we obviously trust them explicitly. Good communication through out the entire process each time we have used them. Watching the guys do what they do shows you the care and experience they bring to the job. I hope we will not need anymore trees removed, but if we do, we will use J&D.

J & D Tree Pros were absolutely outstanding! They came out immediately to handle an emergency when a tree fell on my house, and the very next day they spent the entire day taking down several large trees that posed a threat to the home. Their crew was exceptionally professional, skilled, and efficient throughout the process.

They prevented what could have been a disastrous situation. Their service that was timely, beautifully choreographed, expertly performed, and minimally impactive. Highly recommend!!

Very pleased with the job they did! They cut down 14 very tall pine trees in 4 hours. Cleaned up debris and hauled away the logs the next day. I thought their price was reasonable.

They are Tree Pros!  Fast and excellent work taking out a 60 foot pine in my backyard.  Cut it in halves and safely hoisted each with their monster crane out into the street, cut it up further and shredded all of it.  Area was thoroughly cleaned and they even spotted a few other dead branches that needed to come down.

Grace was my lead at the office to start, what a dear (and best mom), and a super professional, she is the voice of the company and they are lucky to have her!  Daniel, the owner, came right out to access my concerns and confirm the tree needed removal. Brock got me scheduled quickly and we were off.

The crew of Nathanial, Ryan, Bryson, Yuri, Andrew, and Alexander were stellar, such a well oil machine watching all of them work as one, having radio headsets helps keep them all connected too.  Very safety conscious (I bet Drill Sergeant Ryan helps there ;-), really know their work, and a joy to watch them.  When you have them over (yeah, you should), let your kids watch, its fascinating, maybe provide a cooler with some drinks for the crew, they'd appreciate that on these hot summer days.

Outstanding experience all around from beginning to end.

We had an oak tree that had started leaning dangerously after a recent storm. Well insured and recommended by other tree companies, they were able to bring their crane to our narrow cul-de-sac and do the job in less than 2 hours after which they cleaned up and left everything looking perfect.

Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, I won't hesitate to not only recommend them, but also hope to be able to use their assistance again and again in the future.

This is the second time we have used J&D and we received the same excellent service in both cases. This particular service call was for a large tree that fell on our detached garage. The tree fell late Saturday afternoon. I called the emergency number Saturday evening and immediately received a call back. J&D had a crew onsite early Sunday morning in 20 degree weather to remove the very large tree from the structure. J&D returned the next day to remove other damaged trees and debris. By having the tree removed on Sunday, I was able to have a roofing contractor onsite Monday to temporarily repair the roof before several rainy days ruined the inside wall. A HUGE thanks to J&D for excellent customer service and very professional staff.

We recently had two huge holly trees removed, stump grinding and a large maple tree trimmed. It went fantastic. Very professional, experienced crew. All the work was done efficently and quickly. Thorough clean up. The crew was very polite and made sure we were happy with the results prior to leaving.

After lightning hit three very large pines in my backyard in late August 2023, one died immediately, one had pine beetles move in, and the third one would likely die within the next season or two. There is not good access to my backyard so it made sense to use J&D Tree Pros' large crane to take these three trees out. Dan was very helpful and knowledgeable during our consultation. The work was scheduled within a week and the crew worked quickly and did a good job of cleaning up. I had some good videos, but the files were not compatible for upload for this review. I definitely recommend using J&D, especially if you work requires a crane.

We highly recommend J & D Tree Pros! From the initial call for an estimate to the cleanup of trees was outstanding! By using J & D Tree Pros, the tree removal was safely, efficiently, diligently and respectfully executed by an amazing crew! It was incredible to watch the entire process! Ryan and crew arrived on time and worked all day to remove numerous trees. Communication throughout the process from Brock, Grace, Denise was superb with a quick response. During the estimate, Dan was very thorough and honest about which trees needed to be removed.
Also, an impressive touch was our yard, driveway, and grass was treated respectfully and left cleaner than the crew found it upon arrival!! Even our neighbors were impressed with the crew! If you need tree work completed…only trust J & D Tree Pros with your job!
